Doggy Day Care Oracle

About: My husband and I have retired and live in Saddlebrooke. We both watched dogs before when we lived in Columbus and now in Arizona and we LOVE it! Between the two of us we are home alot to spoil our (and your!) dogs, but do note that we do take bike rides etc in the 2-3 hour range several times a week. We watch ONLY ONE family’s dog(s) at one time so that we can give YOUR pet the special attention that he or she deserves. I have found each dog that we've watched to be a special gift in his or her own way and consider it a real blessing to be given the honor of watching your pet. I've been watching dogs for decades for family, neighbors and friends and loving it! I have always had dogs, helped my uncle raising schnauzer's, and done obedience work with several of my dogs - who were amazing! We have one dog, Emmie, a 15 yr old Havanese who while initially wary of new dogs and people becomes friends. She is pretty low key ( and toothless) and so dogs that have very high energy would not be a good fit. She accepts other dogs but doesn't usually care to play with them (but we do!!) We also require all dogs that we watch to be up to date on all immunizations, and are fully house broken and non aggressive. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and on our bed. We have a secure five foot fence in our back yard. My husband and I are retired and so are around home a lot, yet we are active and love to take walks and snuggle and play with the dogs! I have a five foot fenced in back yard. Dogs are welcome anywhere in our house including our bed. Our Havenese sleeps with us and yours is welcome too!

“Our dog loves staying at Lara's. She is great with all the dogs that visit, and the "open house" set-up, with a variety of exercise and play options, and checking out the horses and pony is a bonus! Lara is flexible and communicates well about scheduling. We live the photos and videos she sends to reassure us that our pup who sometimes has separation anxiety is doing well. Highly recommend Lara for doggie daycare or overnight boarding.”

About: I choose to not be a pet owner but love dogs. I get my pet time by helping friends and family as well as others who need to be gone and can’t take their pet along. I enjoy getting to know a variety of pups and I’m very in tune with their needs. I’m retired so I have alot of time to play with your dog and to go on walks I’m available weekends as well as weekdays. I have no pets of my own so your fur baby will have all my attention. My back patio is completely walled in and has a turf area for in between walks.

“Walter and Gabi are a true god send. We had to leave our two doggies behind to go on a much anticipated trip to Disneyland. We have an “old guy” who we worry a lot about especially when changing up his normal day to day routines. They both were so patient, communicative and incredibly kind and loving with them both. About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life. We’ve recently relocated for my husbands job and I can officially stay home. My dog is friendly and gets along with any dog! I would love for him to get to play with others while I get to help others as I know finding pet care can be hard! I’m a mom of two school-aged kiddos! Aside from our quick 10-minute school drop-off and pick-up, along with the occasional errand, I’ll be home with your pups for the majority of the day. They’ll get lots of love, attention, and companionship while they’re in my care! I have a fenced-in yard and a spacious two-story home, making it a great fit for dogs of all sizes, including larger breeds. I also have an extremely friendly dog who is older but still loves to play! If needed, I’m more than happy to keep the dogs separated to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy.
