About: I currently work from home and am available for all of your dogs needs from companionship, stimulation and bathroom breaks. I pride myself on being available to the dogs and a present pet parent. I work from home and your pet will be included in my day to day activities as if it were my own. I am very attentive caring and sensitive to the needs of my pets which in turn will make me sensitive to the needs of your pet. The pets in my home are cared for as family, they get free reign of the house, they have full access to my back yard and they are not left alone in the back yard.
“Kat has taken care of my large dog on multiple occasions, always treating him with love and patience. He is loving but excitable, and Kat always knows how to calm him and provide him a happy space.”

“Tasha and Geordie had a great time at Elizabeth's. This was our first time ever getting a sitter for our dogs so we were a little bit nervous. Elizabeth's warm and easy going attitude immediately put us at ease. It was also great to get a tour of her home so we could see where the dogs would be hanging out. She also sent us photos of them playing. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Stacie went above and beyond with Jasper's day care this week. A day after elbow surgery, I was having difficulty driving. Stacie agreed to drive Jasper home . Truly helpful and needed on this day! Irene”

“Lynda, Roberto and Maria M. we’re fantastic. They immediately put me at ease by showing me their backyard, allowing my dog Bailey to meet their two dogs and they also showed me the areas the dogs rest during the day. They are very genuine and kind people and I could tell they genuinely love dogs. They are open and communicative and sent me pictures, and video throughout the day. Bailey has the tendency to get nervous when we leave her somewhere new and they were wise to keep Bailey busy while I left so that she didn’t notice me go and they gently let her get used to their home at her pace. I will definitely take Bailey again.”

“Our dog loves staying at Lara's. She is great with all the dogs that visit, and the "open house" set-up, with a variety of exercise and play options, and checking out the horses and pony is a bonus! Lara is flexible and communicates well about scheduling. We live the photos and videos she sends to reassure us that our pup who sometimes has separation anxiety is doing well. Highly recommend Lara for doggie daycare or overnight boarding.”

“Beth is incredibly flexible and communicative. Her home is filled with fun, adorable animals. The meet and greet went wonderfully, as she was welcoming and gave us a tour of her place. We're glad to have found her, especially since she's so close by.”

About: Hi! I've loved dogs since I was a kid—I grew up with them and started caring for my neighbors' pups from a young age. I'm a responsible and loving sitter who truly enjoys giving dogs the attention, patience, and care they deserve. Whether your pup is full of energy, still a puppy, or needs a little extra love, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. Your dog will be treated like family 🫶 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’ve always been around dogs, so caring for them is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I work from home (or: I have a flexible schedule), which allows me to give pets the attention, potty breaks, and playtime they need throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or cuddle time, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for every single day. Safety and trust are my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home. I always create a calm, loving, and secure environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any special needs. I keep a close eye on behavior and make sure pets are never left unattended for long. In my home, I provide a clean space, free of hazards, and full of comfort—just like they’re part of the family. Communication is important to me, so I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages to give them peace of mind.
“Felt very safe leaving Zarina with her. She was very communicative and patient with me. As an out of towner my guesses of how long everything would take was a bit off. lol traffic! I will use her again!”

About: We loved our furry friends our entire life. Here on the ranch, we have many animals: mini horse, tortoises, chickens, cats, and dogs. So many sights and sounds...there is always something fun going on! And there is always someone here on the ranch to care for the animals. On the ranch your dog will experience: a fully fenced yard, almost 2 acres to exercise, exposure to various ranch animals to help your dog grow socially and emotionally, and a pool to cool off in.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I finally adopted my own 13 years ago as puppies and rescued 2 in 2021. They are all senior dogs now with special needs- diet and medical. My one is diabetic and requires 2 injections a day. They all take medication and follow a schedule. I work from home which allows me to care for my four dogs. I have the ability to help others at this time and would love to make sure their pets are well cared for. I know how challenging it was to find care for our boys when I didn’t work from home. I care for someone’s pet as they ask me too and as I do my own. No feeding food they aren’t allowed (treats that aren’t authorized), hand feeding if necessary, plenty of potty breaks in the backyard to run (my dogs prance) and roll in the grass. I have beds and blankets for them to choose from and cuddle time on the sofa too.
“Carol & her frenchie boys (Romeo & Beauregard) are the best! Sable (my mini Schnauzer puppy) & I were visiting AZ for 2 weeks. I needed to find a trustworthy person & place for my sweet Sable during the day so I could work. After reading lots of Rover reviews, I took a leap of faith and booked with Carol. We hit the jackpot!!! Carol clearly is a dog lover and she takes caring for her canine guests very seriously! She has excellent communication skills and her home is set up specifically into zones to accommodate the varying needs of her puppy patrons (i.e. doggie door out to covered patio area, separated rooms with doggie gates & tiled floors for easy potty accident clean ups, safe/quite places for senior dogs, etc.). She only accepts fully vaccinated dogs which put my mind at ease that Sable wouldn't be exposed to any diseases while I'm getting her up to speed on her required shots (i.e. rabies, lepto, DHPP, etc.). Finally, Carol's was a great place for Sable to start getting better socialized with other dogs and learn some manners. ;-). I highly recommend Carol and won't hesitate to book with her again in the future!”

About: Hello! I am a stay at home mom which means I am pretty much always home and available to help you with your pet related needs. Currently I have an 11 month old lab retriever who is very friendly and playful. I also have 2 kids who love playing with animals too! They help feed and pick up poop 🙌I know it can be scary when trying to find someone to look after your fur babies but I hope I can make the experience easy and pain free. I can send pictures or respond to texts frequently and give any updates you would like. I look forward to helping you by caring for your pets when you are unable and if you have any questions feel free to reach out. Things I will ask about your dog: how do they get along with other dogs and children? Obviously my kids and dog are my #1 priority so I can only have pets who get along well with other animals and little kids. Some animals get really skittish around little ones so they wouldn't be a good fit for me. Does your dog have toy or food aggression\territorial? This is important so I know if I need to feed pups separately or put up any toys. Please note- boarding rates are based on 24 hour increments for example if you drop off at 10 AM they should be picked up by 10 AM. If you are late then late fees will apply and need to be paid before pick up. For example $15 if 2 hours late and daycare fee will apply if over 4 hours. If you're running late please communicate with me! I'm a stay at home mom and homebody so I am available often. I do vacation to California quite often but I will try to keep my schedule as updated as possible! I have a fenced in backyard, an 11 month old puppy who is very playful and entergetic, I also have kids who love to cuddle and love on your puppies too! Boarding will require your dog to be crate trained for sleeping! This means they can't whine or bark in their cages all night! If they do bark\whine all night I will add a fee of $10 per boarding night.
Cortaro dog parents share their Rover experiences
Andreah was responsive to a last minute request for daycare, as a trial before a multi-day overnight stay. She was waiting for us when we dropped Lola at her house, sent photos during the day and had Lola ready to go when we got back. After the longer stay I will leave more feedback.
