About: In this home dogs are life and are treated as though they were my own children. When your dog stays in my home they will be provided with plenty of affection, toys, treats (if allowed by parents), and stimulating play. I am familiar with taking care of puppies (6 weeks or older) up to senior dog level care. I am very familiar with structured feeding and administering medication. Your dog will stay in an air-conditioned space with the option of outdoor play in the backyard. My home utilizes "Fear Free" standards of care which includes controlling noise levels, maintaining a clean area by immediately removing waste, using pet safe disinfectants as well as reading body language to spot early signs of stress like lip-licking, yawning, blinking, or tucked tails before they escalate to fear or aggression. All dogs will have the option to retreat to a soft cloth crate to provide a peaceful and private place if they ever get over stimulated. I will only care for up to 3 dogs at a time to allow for plenty of personal space. I do not allow animals on my furniture, but I do have mini couches, dog beds and a ginormus bean bag bed, pillows and blankets available for snuggling. I am currently a full-time accountant and work from home, so all dogs in my care are always monitored to create a safe and healthy environment. Your dog will be entertained by my mixed breed dog named Hoonigan who is roughly 30 pounds and is very high energy. I currently provide Doggy Daycare Services with drop off times as early as 6:30 AM and dogs must be picked up by 6:00 PM as well as Doggy Boarding by appointment. Your dog will receive dedicated, high-tier care entirely within my personal home, featuring seamless indoor and outdoor integration: Unrestricted Autonomy: A secure doggy door grants guests continuous freedom to transition between indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring they can relieve themselves on their own schedule. Climate-Controlled Indoor Play: Expansive, fully air-conditioned indoor spaces designated for high-energy play, relaxation, and cooling down. Enclosed Outdoor Arena: A completely fenced-in yard optimized for safety and exercise, featuring a large running area to expend energy. Premium Yard Amenities: Includes a designated, hygienic "potty" green and refreshing, optional kiddie pool activities for warm days. Curated Toy Selection: Full access to stimulating entertainment, including durable tug ropes, high-quality squeaky toys, and safe, non-rawhide bones. Rest & Reset Accommodations: For dogs accustomed to crate routines, a soft cloth crate is available to provide a peaceful, private sanctuary if they experience overstimulation.
“Kristie and Rick are wonderful! They are very responsive and took great care of my dog for the day. And their dog is a sweetie, too! I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs, my own pup, Ludo, lived to be over 20 years old, and supporting him through every life stage taught me patience, gentleness, and how to meet the unique needs of aging pets. I’m genuinely passionate about animals and have spent years volunteering at animal shelters, which has given me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets for years, and I treat every animal like a member of the family. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness truly matter to me, and I’m committed to giving them the same love and attention I’d want for my own. I am currently transitioning between full time work and going back to school online. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for your pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I can work around your needs and ensure your fur babies get consistent attention and care throughout the week. I’d love to fill some of my time making sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved. In my home, pets have access to a safe, fenced yard where they can play and explore. I live with two friendly dogs and two shy but affectionate cats, who enjoy snuggling and playing with new furry friends once they feel comfortable. We have plenty of toys to keep pets entertained, and I make sure everyone feels safe, loved, and included. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their routine and comfort, giving them attention, playtime, and affection while respecting their space and environment. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and happy, whether they’re at home or visiting mine.

“Excellent experience! Nyxie had a BLAST playing with their Cici in their big fenced in yard. 🥰 Great communication and pictures. Highly recommended for doggy daycare!”

About: I can communicate with dogs and cats to make them feel safe and loved, I teach them how to communicate with me and some fun tricks depending on their age. I am currently working part time in a Day Program for people with disabilities, I am looking for a more flexible schedule and to be around pets because I feel they need people who really care for them. I have a medium sized patio and front porch however I never leave them outside without supervision, same if the pet sitting is at the client’s home.
“Gerardo and Ashley were wonderful dog sitters for Max. Gerardo was able to take our Golden Fox Lab at the last moment. He was kind to us and Max, and treated him with respect. He and Ashley treated Max like part of their family. Gerardo kept us in constant communication. We will definitely reach out him while we’re here.”

“Kristen was great with Jax and I appreciated her meet and greet before we did a full day of daycare. When I dropped him off he went right into her house like they were old buddies. She provides the perfect setting for playing in the backyard as well as hang time inside.”

“We left our energetic two and a half year old with Nadolyn for the afternoon. He was calm and happy when we got home that evening. I highly recommend Nadolyn to care for your pet!”

“My dog is a momma's boy who doesn't like to be away from me. I felt good about leaving him with Teel. She is an experienced dog lover, and her home is set up for comfort, safety, and fun. I knew Smokey would be in good hands and didn't worry about him at all. She sent lots of pictures of him playing and relaxing. Two thumbs up for Teel!”

“This was our first daycare experience and Jessica was so helpful in making sure we eased into it. She made Nora feel comfortable and happy, and kept me up to date on the progress throughout the day. We’re looking forward to coming back more regularly!”

About: Hello! My name is Asia. I’m 25 years old and I’ve cared for cats, dogs, snakes, birds, and ferrets! Babies are kind of my thing too, haha! I’ve cared for animals for about 9 years and all I can say is i genuinely love animals. All of them! I am mobile so travel isn’t an issue! Personally, I’ve had two cats, a dog, and a snake. I think animals are loving creatures that deserve the same love back. So if you’re considering hiring me, I’d be more than ecstatic to take care of your baby(ies)! Im currently a stay at home mom so im with the animals most of the time besides when I need to pick up/drop off my kid from school or run errands. I currently stay in a house with a decent sized backyard, and it is gated! So you won’t have to worry about your animal escaping.
“I really like Tammy and so did Kuzco! You can tell she really cares about your puppers and is so very kind and sweet. The first time we met, Kuzco didn’t want to leave! She was willing to work with my schedule, even though I had to change drop up and pick up several times. She even sent us home with a baggy of doggy treats that my pup can’t get enough of! Will definitely be using her again. I felt very comfortable and at peace that my pup was in good hands. Her house was clean and comfy and she had a great outdoor space for dogs to run around in. Highly recommend!”

“Gina is a star! She spoiled our nervous doodle and really got her. We were able to spend a great day exploring Saguaro National Park knowing she was in great hands. ♥️🐶”

“Ashley is great! Shadow is excited to go and see her everytime and when she comes back home she is already looking forward to the next visit! I recommend Ashely to everyone.”

“We are so grateful to have connected with Lesley. She is a remarkable human being and she treated our Edith with so much love and care. Already looking forward to their next day together. Can not thank you enough, Lesley. Blessings and peace to you.”

“Very nice young woman! My Ranger seemed very calm and relaxed in her home when I went to pick him up. He is just a young pup and she was able to manage him. I was really happy with her quick response to my last minute request, it was a life saver! Would recommend!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
