About: I’ve had animals around the house my entire life, and I’ve been trusted to petsit and housesit for friends and neighbors since I was a teenager. I have two cats of my own, but I regularly care for others’ pets as well. This summer I have most of the week free, and evenings T/W/Th by request! I love all animals, no matter the energy level! Whether they need to play ‘til they drop, or just want to curl up and sit beside you, I’m happy to accommodate.

About: Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital, I developed a strong passion for animal care from an early age and gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of species. I have personally cared for four dogs and a rabbit, giving me a deep understanding of daily pet care, responsibility, and animal behavior. In addition to personal experience, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital and shelter throughout my senior year of high school and during my freshman and sophomore years of college. In this role, I assisted with patient care, monitored animals, maintained clean and safe environments, and supported veterinarians and staff with daily operations. I also volunteer at a horse ranch during my free time, where I assist with animal care and ranch responsibilities. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine, and I enjoy maintaining a structured schedule to ensure animals receive consistent care, exercise, and companionship. I have four personal dogs and regularly spend time finding new walking trails, parks, and outdoor areas to take my pack on adventures and exercise outings. Staying active with my dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets, whether in my own home or in a client’s home. Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital and working as a Veterinary Assistant taught me how to properly handle animals, recognize behavioral changes, and maintain clean, safe, and stress-free environments for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I am very organized and dependable, so I like to keep pets on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. I have four dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and treating every animal like family. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and exploring new trails and outdoor spaces to keep them active and engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, carefully follow all instructions, and prioritize communication by providing updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and informed while they are away.

About: We recently had to say goodbye to our elderly dog and while we aren't ready to find a new four-legged friend we want to take care of yours! We have had multiple dogs throughout our lives and have taken care of lots of dogs of all kinds for our friends. My wife and I own Heritage House, a boutique bed & breakfast and event venue in Opelika. We live on site in a separate, private residence. This is our full time job so at least one of us would pretty much always be around while hosting your dog. Our living space is on a second floor so your dog must be able to navigate stairs OR be a small enough dog that we can easily carry them up and down safely. We have a small fenced section of the property for letting your dog out on short breaks and would also be taking lots of walks, as needed, around our very safe neighborhood. We are flexible based on your dog's needs and could do crating if necessary, but we prefer to let well behaved, house trained pups run free in the house.

About: I’ve had experience with dogs since I was 8 starting with my first ever dog Cupcake. Since then I have taken care of dogs of all sizes for neighbors and friends. I am very good with senior dogs, and energetic puppies alike! I love to learn how each dog’s personality shines. I am currently taking online college courses for the summer. My classes being online gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I am willing to work out times with people on an individual basis! About: It's fun side work for me! I'm an Ol' guy that is reliable and good with animals. I tend to take a lot of pictures and video to send to my clients. My availability, depending on location and time, is usually only in the evening due to work during the week. I try to keep my calendar up to date as possible to reflect immediate availability. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 8 years old. Specifically, cats and dogs. I have lots of experience with larger dogs like German Shepards and pit bulls as well as smaller dogs like Boston terriers. I am a graduate student at Auburn and I work from home a few days a week. I live near the university which is convenient. I love playing with dogs and cats and giving them the playtime and attention that they need. I grew up with very hyperactive animals so I would love to pet sit or walk your dog!

About: I have taken care of dogs since for around 8 years. I started before I could drive and I would walk over to my neighbors house and feed/ play with their dogs while they were out of town. I have still continued to dog sit every once in a while when I am needed. I am a college student at Auburn University. I am also from Opelika so everyone that I have been dog sitting for in high school, I am still able to help out today. My schedule for next semester is very open and not too busy. I am also available over summer as well. I do have a goldendoodle at my parents house. She is 5 years old and loves playing with other dogs. I also have a car so I will be able to come to my clients house to take care their furry friends for as long as I am needed. Currently I live in a townhouse and would love to take care of your pets here!

About: I have a ten year old German Shorthaired Pointer who’s very energetic and loves to play! I love talking dogs on walks and getting to play with them! I currently have a job during the day, however the schedule is not the same every week, and I do go multiple days without working sometimes. When I’m in your home I will make sure that your pets are safe, healthy, and happy! Spending time with an animal while the owners are gone is very important to me!

About: Over the past 15 years, I have cared for both small and large dogs (baby, young, adult and elderly) and have been with Rover since 2018. I have done overnight stays with 1-2 dogs at a time, as well as housing a golden retriever in my home and caring for him for two weeks while his owners were on vacation. I am very active and would enjoy walking or running with your dog, tossing a ball or playing fetch. I am also outgoing and love animals (especially dogs!!!) and want your dog to enjoy his/her time with me as much as I enjoy my time with them! I am also happy to do drop in visits, and can document the process on video so you know your dog and home are safe! I’m currently working full time during the week, but come home for an hour at lunch. Weekends are free and I spend lots of time playing with my (and your) pup! There is a fenced in dog park at my apartment complex and also a great walking trail. My dog loves all other pups and they will be sure to have the best time together!

I have flexibility during the weekends. I am willing to work with any schedule where you find fit. I care for my pets in a way that I would care for my own. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. I worked for a plantation and fed/watered/cleaned the resident hunting dogs. In addition, I have three dogs (2 medium-size dogs and 1 small dog) and four cats that I have cared for over the years. I am comfortable with feeding/walking/bathing any of your pets and catering to their needs! I have a part-time job and am a full-time college student, so I am mainly available for weekends and overnight stays with me. I will accommodate your pet into my schedule to make them as comfortable as possible. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs that are lovely with other animals. I also have cats in my home as well. Your pet will be treated as if they were my own with the utmost care and comfort.
