About: I’ve had animals around the house my entire life, and I’ve been trusted to petsit and housesit for friends and neighbors since I was a teenager. I have two cats of my own, but I regularly care for others’ pets as well. This summer I have most of the week free, and evenings T/W/Th by request! I love all animals, no matter the energy level! Whether they need to play ‘til they drop, or just want to curl up and sit beside you, I’m happy to accommodate.

About: Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital, I developed a strong passion for animal care from an early age and gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of species. I have personally cared for four dogs and a rabbit, giving me a deep understanding of daily pet care, responsibility, and animal behavior. In addition to personal experience, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital and shelter throughout my senior year of high school and during my freshman and sophomore years of college. In this role, I assisted with patient care, monitored animals, maintained clean and safe environments, and supported veterinarians and staff with daily operations. I also volunteer at a horse ranch during my free time, where I assist with animal care and ranch responsibilities. My background has allowed me to become comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments while developing strong compassion, communication, and caregiving skills. currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate plenty of time to animal care and attention throughout the day. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine, and I enjoy maintaining a structured schedule to ensure animals receive consistent care, exercise, and companionship. I have four personal dogs and regularly spend time finding new walking trails, parks, and outdoor areas to take my pack on adventures and exercise outings. Staying active with my dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets, whether in my own home or in a client’s home. Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital and working as a Veterinary Assistant taught me how to properly handle animals, recognize behavioral changes, and maintain clean, safe, and stress-free environments for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I am very organized and dependable, so I like to keep pets on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. I have four dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and treating every animal like family. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and exploring new trails and outdoor spaces to keep them active and engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, carefully follow all instructions, and prioritize communication by providing updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and informed while they are away.

About: We recently had to say goodbye to our elderly dog and while we aren't ready to find a new four-legged friend we want to take care of yours! We have had multiple dogs throughout our lives and have taken care of lots of dogs of all kinds for our friends. My wife and I own Heritage House, a boutique bed & breakfast and event venue in Opelika. We live on site in a separate, private residence. This is our full time job so at least one of us would pretty much always be around while hosting your dog. Our living space is on a second floor so your dog must be able to navigate stairs OR be a small enough dog that we can easily carry them up and down safely. We have a small fenced section of the property for letting your dog out on short breaks and would also be taking lots of walks, as needed, around our very safe neighborhood. We are flexible based on your dog's needs and could do crating if necessary, but we prefer to let well behaved, house trained pups run free in the house.

About: I’ve had experience with dogs since I was 8 starting with my first ever dog Cupcake. Since then I have taken care of dogs of all sizes for neighbors and friends. I am very good with senior dogs, and energetic puppies alike! I love to learn how each dog’s personality shines. I am currently taking online college courses for the summer. My classes being online gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I am willing to work out times with people on an individual basis! I take a lot of care to be respectful of people’s homes when caring for their animals. I fulfill each task the pet needs with care and give each pet the time and attention they need.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 8 years old. Specifically, cats and dogs. I have lots of experience with larger dogs like German Shepards and pit bulls as well as smaller dogs like Boston terriers. I am a graduate student at Auburn and I work from home a few days a week. I live near the university which is convenient. I love playing with dogs and cats and giving them the playtime and attention that they need. I grew up with very hyperactive animals so I would love to pet sit or walk your dog!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was around 10 years old, when my family welcomed our first dog. Growing up with dogs gave me years of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after them, and making sure they were happy, healthy, and well cared for. When we later brought home a puppy, I took on much of the responsibility for raising and caring for it. The puppy stayed with me in my room, so I was responsible for feeding, supervising, helping with potty training, keeping a consistent routine, and making sure it felt safe and comfortable as it grew. I also enjoyed teaching both of our dogs basic commands and fun tricks using patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Through these experiences, I learned that every dog has a unique personality, and I always take the time to understand what helps them feel comfortable and secure. I’m a dependable, patient, and attentive caregiver who genuinely loves spending time with dogs. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat your dog with the same love, respect, and care that I give my own. At the moment, I’m available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during the morning and early afternoon for drop-in visits, walks, or playtime. I’d love to spend quality time with your pup while making sure they receive the care, attention, and exercise they need! Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I’ll take the time to follow your care instructions closely and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I grew up training puppy’s and always having a dog/cat in the home. I am a loving dog sitter and will give your dog the care they need! I am an early riser and love to go on walks so your furry friend will get great exercise!! I like schedules and routines, and my house is always very clean! I do not have any animas so there is no issue worrying if they will get along! I live in an apartment right next to a park!

About: I’ve been taking care and looking after dogs as long as I can remember! I’ve had friends and family rely on me to care for their fur babies! I always make sure they are comfortable and well entertained to the point they enjoy their experience! Every fur baby is cared with intention. About: I’ve taken care of dogs half of my life. My great grand dad taught me everything about dogs and he trained them while I was his student. I have sat with dogs often mostly when veterans get sick and I care for their fur babies. I also have 4 dogs of my own 3 boxers and one terrier. I will walk them bath them feed them and play with them. I’m a retired vet I have plenty of time on my hand unless it’s a doctor appoint I have to go to! I’m ready for your pups! About: Over the past 15 years, I have cared for both small and large dogs (baby, young, adult and elderly) and have been with Rover since 2018. I have done overnight stays with 1-2 dogs at a time, as well as housing a golden retriever in my home and caring for him for two weeks while his owners were on vacation. I am very active and would enjoy walking or running with your dog, tossing a ball or playing fetch. I am also outgoing and love animals (especially dogs!!!) and want your dog to enjoy his/her time with me as much as I enjoy my time with them! I am also happy to do drop in visits, and can document the process on video so you know your dog and home are safe! I’m currently working full time during the week, but come home for an hour at lunch. Weekends are free and I spend lots of time playing with my (and your) pup! There is a fenced in dog park at my apartment complex and also a great walking trail. My dog loves all other pups and they will be sure to have the best time together!
