About: I know every pet is different! I trained my own dog from puppyhood and treat every dog I care for with the same patience, love, and attention! I work from home, so I'm able to give pets lots of attention throughout the day! I only leave occasionally for work estimates, usually for just 1–2 hours, so your pet won't be left alone for long! Whether in my home or yours, I'll care for your pet like my own! I'll follow their routine, provide plenty of love, playtime, walks, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away!

About: I have two dogs of my own, and been around dogs my entire life. Have dog sat for family and co-workers before. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!

About: I raised my first dog at 7, and have been the designated dog trainer, and sitter since. I have fostered over 7 dogs in my lifetime. All different breeds and energy levels. The oldest dog I have adopted was a 15 year old blind dachshund. I am experienced with animals with conditions such as hip pain, aggression, blindness, and hearing impairment. I have two corgis currently, one raised and trained by me, the other a rescue. I am experienced in handling reactive, aggressive dogs, and am equipped to redirect their attention from the trigger with their favorite treats or toy. My work schedule is inconsistent, but I work mornings and early afternoons about 4-5 days a week, and can stop by to feed, or walk early in the morning, and afternoons before work or on my break. I have Sundays off completely I have experience with reactive, very energetic, and or elderly animals. I have looked after just over 7 dogs in my life time, and trained a corgi. I am very patient, it’s their first time on earth too, but assertive if the need arises

About: I’ve been taking care and looking after dogs as long as I can remember! I’ve had friends and family rely on me to care for their fur babies! I always make sure they are comfortable and well entertained to the point they enjoy their experience! Every fur baby is cared with intention. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty availability for the pups!! I’m available for boarding during the weekend and weekdays! I currently live in an apartment! All pets will need a crate! I also have a lovely fur baby to keep company with your fur baby!!

About: In high school, I worked locally as a dog daycare attendant, a pet boarding attendant, and a veterinary assistant, so I have plentiful experience working with dogs of different types and temperaments in professional settings. I frequently pet sit for family and friends, so I have experience in a less-formal setting too. I also have a pet cat, dog, and fish of my own. I am working part-time in a wildlife rehabilitation setting, so I am happy to fit dog walking and drop-in visits in my schedule when able. I have experience administering oral and intramuscular medications, adhering to routines, and following strict dietary requirements for animals, so I am eager to follow instructions and give the proper care that your pets deserve. I strive to treat all animals with respect, compassion, and attentive care.

About: Over the past 15 years, I have cared for both small and large dogs (baby, young, adult and elderly) and have been with Rover since 2018. I have done overnight stays with 1-2 dogs at a time, as well as housing a golden retriever in my home and caring for him for two weeks while his owners were on vacation. I am very active and would enjoy walking or running with your dog, tossing a ball or playing fetch. I am also outgoing and love animals (especially dogs!!!) and want your dog to enjoy his/her time with me as much as I enjoy my time with them! I am also happy to do drop in visits, and can document the process on video so you know your dog and home are safe! I’m currently working full time during the week, but come home for an hour at lunch. Weekends are free and I spend lots of time playing with my (and your) pup! Lee have a fenced area outside to go to the bathroom and a great neighborhood to go on walks in. My dog loves all other pups and they will be sure to have the best time together!

About: I have a ten year old German Shorthaired Pointer who’s very energetic and loves to play! I love talking dogs on walks and getting to play with them! I currently have a job during the day, however the schedule is not the same every week, and I do go multiple days without working sometimes. When I’m in your home I will make sure that your pets are safe, healthy, and happy! Spending time with an animal while the owners are gone is very important to me!

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals all my life; cattle, dogs, cats, hedgehogs, and many more. I have experience in small dogs and large, specifically dachshunds and Siberian huskies/Malamutes, as I’ve grown up with those breeds since I was a toddler! My home is very assessable to those prone to IVDD as I currently have my Mini-Dachshund living with me. I know how to administer limited medications, pills and solution/liquid medications. I am also able to provide nail trimmings for dogs only, no additional charge; I can provide my own clean dremel/nail clippers. I’m also a very patient person, so new pets won’t be a problem. I have experience with dogs who experience anxiety/are skittish. And I am experienced with elderly pets! I’m currently working part-time as a pharmacy technician (1-3 days a week) and I am in school full-time. I am able to make time after and between classes to fit all the love and attention into the needs of pets. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex, I’m happy to carry the smaller pets up stairs if they have trouble with stairs! I don’t necessarily have a fenced in yard, but we do have a fenced in area specifically for dogs, most people in the complex don’t use! I enjoy taking the dogs on walks either around campus or shorter walks around the complex/home, I’m very active if your pet needs mental stimulation I am perfect for that; if your pet is more of a calm and lazy animal I can also provide for them as well! I’ve been know to be a very organized person, so if your pet is on a specific schedule I can usually adapt to that schedule very quickly and efficiently whether that’s feeding, walking or medications.

About: I’ve had 2 german shepherds from puppy to old age and have always been the first to volunteer for pet sitting for neighbors, friends, family, etc. I love animals, especially high energy dogs, and have taken in strays for short term periods. I currently work full time, but have flexibility before and after my shifts, and during my lunch! Thursdays are my only days that I can’t promise an ideal level of availability. I’m definitely an early riser so i’m always available for early mornings! I’m someone who takes instruction very seriously. If you make a list of wants and needs, i’ll do my best to meet exactly those and more. My own home is not super pet friendly at the moment so I like to stick with clients homes!

About: I have owned a variety of pets throughout my life. I have also fostered 10 dogs of all ages and helped find them forever homes. This past year, I worked as an animal placement specialist at my local shelter and placed hundreds of dogs and cats into their forever homes. I have worked with a wide variety of dog breeds and I am knowledgeable with dog behavior. I also volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center. I am currently a full-time, nursing student at Auburn University. I am available most days when I am not in class. I am flexible can provide further details when needed. I able to travel to your home to care for your pets there. I have experience with giving meds. I am able to provide care as close to their regular routine as possible.

About: I have been around pets my whole life. I love taking care of animals and would treat your pets like they were my very own! I currently work as a registered nurse three 12-hour night shifts per week at East Alabama Health. This gives me plenty of availability throughout the rest of the week to care for your pets and give them lots of attention! My schedule varies from week to week, so I’m happy to coordinate with you and find days and times that work best for you:) Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible while keeping their normal routine! In your home, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks etc. and I’ll always be respectful of what your expectations are:) I live in a walkable neighborhood with lots of space to explore and plenty of nearby parks and walking trails, so your pup will have lots of opportunities to get outside if that is needed!

My own dog who passed in July 2026 was quite elderly, so I have hands-on experience administering oral medications, injections, and fluids, as well as providing the extra patience and attention older pets need. I also understand the importance of respecting your home and keeping things clean and consistent with your normal routine while house sitting. With my hybrid work schedule, I have the flexibility to stop in during the workday for potty breaks, walks, medications, check-ins, and extra cuddles. I’d love to provide your pets with comfort, attention, and dependable care while you’re away! I have a hybrid work schedule, so I am able to be home to ensure your pet is being taken care of throughout the day. I’m happy to walk and watch pets in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings in addition to spending time with your companion throughout the weekend! Happy to help crate train your pup and make sure they’re comfortable and secure. My own dog got spooked easily during thunderstorms as well as when people she was unfamiliar with came in, so I always am careful to make sure likeminded pets are secure and safe as possible. I like to greet shy pets first with a little treat, slow movements, and a gentle voice so they can grow to trust and depend on me.

About: I've had all types of pets growing up. Have even bottle-fed multiple litters of stray kittens! Very responsible and reliable, especially when it comes to taking care of someone’s animals My schedule is typically pretty open! I part-time bartend so on my off days, I am available all day long. And on the days I go into work (depending on which shift I’m working), usually half of my day is wide open I am able to travel to your home and check on and/or walk/exercise your pet. I am capable of house-sitting, if needed! We can discuss more specialized services you may be needing for your pet, as well (senior, special needs, etc).

About: My family and I have taken care of 3 Golden retrievers since I was 8 years old. I love to play with animals, they bring out my playful childlike self. In middle and high school, I took care of two different neighbors dogs. My mother has a 5 lb shi-poo who’s small but mighty. For your dog, I can bathe, feed, walk, and play with them. Any special services they require I’m more than willing to provide. Every day I wake up at 5:00 AM, and I get to bed by 9:00 PM. I work from home and create my own hours buying vehicles and selling them. I’m available throughout the daytime and nighttime to care for pets. I have plenty of fenced in areas near me to take them on bathroom breaks and get exercise. I need frequent breaks with my work, so walks and bathroom breaks are good ways to get away for second when I or the pup needs to.
