4. Lana F.
“Lana has cared for my dogs a few times, and she is caring and so responsible! I would trust that my pets were in safe hands by virtue of her plan to become a veterinarian, but Lana also consistently checks in with updates and makes clear that she’s looking out for the animals’ wellbeing. She’s great!”
5. Kayla H.
“As Kayla's grandmother, I have watched her love and care for dogs since she was a toddler. When she was 2 years old, she would spend hours cuddling and playing with her family's Chihuahua, Gizzy. As she grew older, she helped walk and feed Gizzy, plus 2 other dogs that joined her family. When Kayla was a middle-schooler and I had to move to an apartment temporarily and could not take my beloved dog Sesi, I entrusted her to Kayla's care at her house for an entire year. At the beginning of the pandemic, when Kayla was a high school senior and lived with me, we adopted a rescued dog, Sweetie, and Kayla became her primary caregiver during that time. Now that Kayla is grown and has her own home, I have entrusted Sweetie to Kayla's care on a permanent basis. Kayla has assumed ownership of Sweetie, including caring for her through eye surgery a few months ago. She is very conscientious about Sweetie's medications, diet, exercise, and grooming. Most of all, they love each other unconditionally. In addition to our family's dogs, Kayla has cared for other people's dogs as a kennel helper in her co-op job during her senior year. She has also ridden horses since she was 3, and she loves bathing, grooming, and feeding them almost as much as riding! All in all, Kayla is a responsible, loving, knowledgeable animal caregiver, and she is ready to start her career doing what she loves!”

About: There have been pets in my house since the day I was born, and I have been taking care of them since I was old enough to. I have always loved being with all types of animals and enjoy taking care of them. If I get a chance to spend time with your furbabies, I will take care of them like they are my own! I recently graduated with my Master of Social Work degree, and I am in a transition between school and a "big girl" job. This allows me to be flexible and available to house sit and dog walk most days and times of the week! I get to know each pet's unique personality and needs and adapt my actions to exactly what the pet requires. I would meet with the owner in order to get the best understanding of their pet as possible.
7. Hannah B.
“Hannah is the best person to trust with your furbabies! We lived together for a year, and Hannah never hesitated to look after my dog and 2 cats when I was out of town. Her love for animals is shown in the quality care she gives to every pet she watches. Hannah is also a great communicator and will always keep you updated on how your babies are doing while you are gone. Rest assured, your pets will be safe and happy under Hannah’s care!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover whose had a diverse array of pets, I bring a plenty of experience and genuine care to every furry friend I meet. From senior dogs requiring gentle attention to adventurous and energetic rescues like my own, I've had the privilege of caring for pets with varying needs and personalities. My background in biology, coupled with my ongoing studies in fisheries, has equipped me with a solid understanding of animal behavior and health. Whether it's administering medication, adhering to exercise routines, or simply offering plenty of love and affection, I do my best to ensure the well-being and happiness of every pet under my care. With years of pet-sitting experience for family and friends, I've cultivated a reputation for reliability, compassion, and dedication. Your beloved companion will be in safe hands with me, receiving the same level of love and attention as if they were my own. I'm in grad school, so my course load is fairly light and my work schedule is fairly flexible. Apart from class meetings a few times a week, I can accommodate a variety of needs. When caring for pets in my client's home, I always respect their space and follow any specific instructions provided. I make sure to adhere to their routines and maintain a clean environment, keeping food and water bowls filled, litter boxes scooped, and living areas tidy. Trust is paramount in my pet care approach. I understand that leaving a beloved pet in someone else's care can be daunting, so I strive to build trust with both the pet and the pet parent. I communicate openly and regularly with clients, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their furry family member is in good hands.
9. Doris D.
“Doris has always watched out for animals even strays on the side of the street she would try to take home and care for or take them to a rescue and just always want a better future for them. She gave my dog an absolute spa day when she watched him and he was all pampered and spoiled when I got home, she treats and loves them like they are actual people and it’s just so fascinating!!!! She’s a wonderful human being!”

11. Molly Jane S.
“Molly Jane has always had a passion for taking care of animals and their over all well being. Both of her cats (Sweetie and Kitty Jane) are rescues and she has given them so much love and affection throughout the years. She always makes sure the family dog, Max (golden retriever), is taken out on walks, given playtime, and that he too receives much love and affection. She has been asked to housesit by families she babysits for and at times, that included seeing about their animals which Molly Jane thoroughly enjoyed. Molly Jane is a great Aunt to my cat, Magnolia. If you book Molly Jane to be your ROVER sitter, you will be guaranteed thoroughness and attention to detail and that all of your pet(s) needs are met.”
