“Laura was so great! She came over beforehand to meet my pup and make sure I was super comfortable. She left a detailed comment and great pics! Laura was also very good at communicating.”

“This was my first time using Rover and Anjolie is fantastic! She is very responsive. We had a meet and greet to understand my dog’s needs and my dog loved her. During the drop in visits, I received photos and messages that gave me complete peace of mind that my dog was happy, comfortable, and in great hands while I was away. This experience exceeded my expectations and I will absolutely be utilizing Anjolie’s services again in the future.”

“Savannah was absolutely amazing! She has such a passion for dogs and took really good care of my dog during the time of her watching him. I would book her over and over again.”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs and cats from high school throughout college. I love spending time with animals so your pets will have safe and loving experiences each day! I am currently working in a research lab over the summer, but I am very flexible. I will be completely available on the weekends to look after your fur babies! I live in a small apartment, so I will not be able to board pets. However, I am right next to Auburn University's main campus. Plenty of long walks to be had!

About: My grandparents have two adorable Vizslas who love to run. My grandpa and I run with them in the morning whenever I visit them. Vizslas are dogs that love attention and exercise. My experience with them prepares me well for your pet. I also have experience in raising little ducklings. I’m an Auburn student who lives on campus. I usually wake up around 5am. I love jogging and it’s so much fun to have a dog run alongside me. Over the weekends I’m typically freer to do house sitting as opposed to walking/running dogs in the mornings and evenings on weekdays. Taking care of your pet’s health will be my #1 concern. Animals being properly exercised lead to their best performance mentally and physically. I will make sure your pet is well stimulated and help it get in tip top shape.
“Abigail did a wonderful job with my pup, Maple, and my two cats! She catered to their every need. Would definitely recommend Abigail! Cannot thank her enough for covering over the 4th of July weekend!”

About: I’m a dog mom of 3! I have cared for all stages from puppy to senior. I have been trusted to care for family & friends’ pets because I love them as my own. I work full time 8am-5pm Monday through Friday but would be available anytime on the weekends or early morning/late evening during the week to care for your pets! I offer drop in visits in your home & walking to ensure that your dog feels comfortable in their own environment! I want your pets to feel comfortable.
About: I have two dogs of my own and have grown up taking care of my dogs and pet sitting my neighbors dogs! I have had experience dog sitting and house sitting in high school and since I have been in college at Auburn! I am currently a student at Auburn University, and with my current class schedule, I have plenty of time throughout the day to care for your dogs! I am not available on weekends, however, but am available every other day of the week! I grew up with two dogs in my family and have always loved having them around, so I’m very comfortable with all aspects of dog care. For small and mini dogs specifically, I make sure to give them a calm, safe space, watch closely during outdoor time since they can be more vulnerable to bigger dogs or hazards, and keep to their regular feeding and potty schedule. I treat every dog like my own and always prioritize their comfort and safety.
“Anna did a wonderful job taking care of my pet. She was always on time, very professional, and made sure my pet received their medical pills as needed. It gave me great peace of mind knowing my pet was in such reliable and caring hands. I truly appreciate her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born. I have taken care of my 4 household dogs (2 labs and 2 chihuahuas) and one cat since I was 10. I have always been the pet sitter and walker for my mom, sister, grandma, and aunt when they needed one! Right after I moved out I adopted a miniature dachshund of my own! I am currently a 5th year architecture student! I only have classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. Tuesdays and Thursdays are completely free, so I have plenty of available time to tend to and love on your pets throughout the day. I also have open availability most weekends! I am able to feed, play with, walk, bathe, and check up on your dog! I also would love to update you with pictures throughout my visit or walk with your pet, my phone is full of animal photos!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Auburn
Kailyn was wonderful with my cats. I was nervous about letting someone else take care of them, but she came by the week before my trip to meet them, sent plenty of photos, and spent time playing with them. She respected my oldest cat’s no-pet boundary while still including her through parallel play. She was also very patient and kind when there was an issue with the key. I would absolutely book her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
