I grew up on a farm so I’ve been around animals all my life. Family and friends have trusted me for all of their pet-sitting needs for years. I currently have two dogs. I’ve dog sat dogs of all ages in my home and in the owners’ homes. Last fall, I witnessed a man dumping two dogs near my home. One of them was pregnant. We were able to raise the puppies and give them and the mom to loving homes. We kept the other dog and now her and the chiweenie that we already owned are best friends. I also have experience with special needs dogs. My chiweenie recently lost his left eye after another dog jumped on him. I've learned to be patient with him as he regains confidence and navigates everyday life with one eye.
