I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 8 years old and truly love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including managing complex feeding schedules and multi-pet households. I’m especially comfortable with senior pet care. My own dog is elderly, so I have hands-on experience administering oral medications, injections, and fluids, as well as providing the extra patience and attention older pets need. I also understand the importance of respecting your home and keeping things clean and consistent with your normal routine while house sitting. With my hybrid work schedule, I have the flexibility to stop in during the workday for potty breaks, walks, medications, check-ins, and extra cuddles. I’d love to provide your pets with comfort, attention, and dependable care while you’re away!

Happy to help crate train your pup and make sure they’re comfortable and secure. My own dog gets spooked easily when maintenance men or people she’s unfamiliar with come in, so I always am careful to make sure likeminded pets are secure and safe as possible. I like to greet pets first with a little treat, slow movements, and a calm voice so they can grow to trust and depend on me.

Skylar was wonderful in every way! She bonded with my dog during the initial visit with her kind and gentle manner. Her experience and care for animals was immediately demonstrated. She was a great listener as we discussed the routine and Sky asked pertinent questions about things I hadn't even thought of. Updates during our trip via text and photos were prompt and detailed. Our home was in perfect condition when we returned. Our dog was happy to see us but not at all needy and settled right down. I can't recommend Sky more highly!

Sky was amazing, she was perfectly on time, took great care of both my dogs (1 high energy and 1 old man). She even brought over some dog puzzles for them to snack and play with. I got lots of pictures and videos while away, and felt completely at ease knowing they were well taken care of! She is definitely a dog lover and I plan to book with her again soon!

Schedule
I work a hybrid/flexible schedule currently, so I have a good amount of time to make sure your pet is being taken care of! I’m happy to walk and watch pets in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings in addition to spending time with your companion throughout the weekend!
