I’m a very active person and spend most of my time outside. I run my own dog everyday and frequently hike. I enjoy dog training and am always happy to teach your pup a new trick if you want! One of my favorite things to do with dogs is scent games, and it tires them out pretty quickly!

In your home, I can provide affection for those who are missing their paw-rents. I can regularly provide walks and potty breaks. I will clean any accidents or special needs behaviors. My walks can be longer or shorter, and I can even run with your pup if they have more energy! If you have a particularly playful pup, I am always open to bringing my dog as well :) she is well trained. I can handle bigger and even reactive dogs and will provide your pet with the best experience they can have.

I have experience and am okay with all breeds and temperaments. I just ask that if your dog has any reactivity behaviors you let me know ahead of time so that I can accommodate them!
A typical day
I love to include many types of activities for your pets. Walks, hikes, and a lot of playtime are ways we can exercise physically. I have kongs, puzzle toys, lick mats, and snuffle mats to exercise your baby's mind. My favorite thing of all is snuggles. Trust that your dog will receive all of the attention! I enjoy animal training as well so if you're okay with it, tricks and scent games are a great way to leave a dog with a fulfilled, tired mind.

Pet care experience
Growing up in the country and as a conservation biologist, I've been around animals all my life! You name it, whether it is cats or dogs, livestock, reptiles, or arthropods! I have experience in high energy breeds and take pride in my ability to gain the trust of babies who may need a little more time to adjust. I'm very active and thoroughly enjoy hikes with my Doberman. I have experience with any size or temperament your pet has, and more importantly, a lot of love for every critter I meet!

I had to think long and hard about leaving this review. I loved all the updates and photos and maybe I should’ve discussed it in detail before hand. But, if my dogs have an accident in the house, I expect the sitter to clean up. When I came home, I had to immediately crate my dogs and clean for hours. Kailyn loved them well but didn’t love my home and I think that’s worth mentioning.
Great service!! Our dogs loved Kailyn and we look forward to using her again!!
