I am an early riser during the week, so I typically leave the house around 5:15am everyday. I usually am free between 12-1:30 for lunch, and then I leave between 4 & 5pm everyday.

When staying in a clients home I recognize that an animal may be protective over it with a stranger present. I like to meet the animals first before staying in the home, and try to hang around in a common area the first couple of hours of house sitting so the pet can get adjusted to having me around. I also use treats and play time as a way to build trust!

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs ahead of time! If they are particularly aggressive to other dogs let me know so I can make sure to steer clear of other animals on walks.
A typical day
I am a walker and runner so I will make sure your dog is getting their steps in. I can also take your pet to the dog park if desired but will never do it without your permission. If your dog likes to fetch or play tug of war, I will happily oblige that request!

Pet care experience
I am Laura and I am a grad student at Auburn University! I have taken care of pets my entire life and more than equipped to care for dogs of all sizes, as well as any cats. If your animals require oral medication of any kind I can also make sure they take it while you are gone! I have leash trained all 4 of my dogs back home, so I am more than happy to help your pet as well. I am also very good with senior dogs as I have 2 at home myself currently, so any special requirements will be taken seriously. I can't wait to meet your fur child!
