About: Hello! I’m a second year vet student at TUCVM. I’ve taken care of my family’s pets as well as my classmates cats and dogs. I know how to give pets medication if needed as well. I’ll be starting back school soon and my classes take up most of the day. I’ll be free after I get out of class and on weekends. I have one cat in my apartment and he is friendly. I can crate pets if needed and follow their normal routine and schedule while you are away.

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets since I was 10, until I turned 17 and began working at my local vet as a Tech. When I got to college I got a job at a dog boarding facility and cared for the dogs there. I currently go to school at Auburn University but I have plenty of time between classes to care for any animals you have or do anything you need! I have had dogs my whole life and currently have a senior cat and I plan to take care of your baby the same way I would care for my own!

Kayla H.
“As Kayla's grandmother, I have watched her love and care for dogs since she was a toddler. When she was 2 years old, she would spend hours cuddling and playing with her family's Chihuahua, Gizzy. As she grew older, she helped walk and feed Gizzy, plus 2 other dogs that joined her family. When Kayla was a middle-schooler and I had to move to an apartment temporarily and could not take my beloved dog Sesi, I entrusted her to Kayla's care at her house for an entire year. At the beginning of the pandemic, when Kayla was a high school senior and lived with me, we adopted a rescued dog, Sweetie, and Kayla became her primary caregiver during that time. Now that Kayla is grown and has her own home, I have entrusted Sweetie to Kayla's care on a permanent basis. Kayla has assumed ownership of Sweetie, including caring for her through eye surgery a few months ago. She is very conscientious about Sweetie's medications, diet, exercise, and grooming. Most of all, they love each other unconditionally. In addition to our family's dogs, Kayla has cared for other people's dogs as a kennel helper in her co-op job during her senior year. She has also ridden horses since she was 3, and she loves bathing, grooming, and feeding them almost as much as riding! All in all, Kayla is a responsible, loving, knowledgeable animal caregiver, and she is ready to start her career doing what she loves!”
