I am currently a PhD student at Auburn University, so my schedule for pet-sitting is part-time. I prefer mornings, evenings, and weekends! I can do 60 minute visits on a limited basis, which means 30 minute visits are preferred!

When visiting your pet I make sure to mitigate any chances of them escaping out the front door. I also take the time to get to know your pet and work with them at their own pace so they get to know me on their terms and aren't afraid when I came to see them. This works well particularly with shy pets.

I am predominantly a cat sitter with her own cats, so it's important to me if your cat or any of your pets have fleas or other transmittable diseases that can be passed onto my own animals. It also helps to know a cats attitude towards new people and their preferences for petting, being picked up, etc.
A typical day
I am predominantly a cat sitter, so in the event your cat likes to take walks I am game to do that! We will utilize their preferred walking equipment (i.e. vest and leash, or backpack) and walk around familiar areas to create a lovely bonding experience.

I am well adapted to care for cats, since I have my own fully blind cat named Freddy and her partially blind sister Tommy, and am more than capable of taking care of special needs animals! I am well versed in giving medication to both cats and dogs and have no issues with making multiple visits per day to ensure that an animal receives their necessary medication.

Samantha was absolutely amazing!! she went above and beyond to take the best care of our cat Laddy! She spent extensive time loving on him and actually playing with him on her visits and even went the extra mile to brush him both days and scooped his box. I also really enjoyed getting photos and the fun little report card every day. We will absolutely be rebooking!! one of the best Rover experiences we have ever had! It was such a good feeling to come home today and know that Laddy has been in such good hands.
Sam was great with our cats! Clear communication and fun pictures. Would definitely book again.
So thankful we found Sam! We have one kitty that needs medication every 12 hours so this is always a concern for us. Sam was very comfortable with our cats, was prompt about the 12 hour timeline and gave us full reports afterwards. She was willing to play with the cats when the weather precluded them to go outside. Overall, all parties were very happy; look forward to having Sam watch the kitties again
So thankful for Samantha loving on my three kitties and feeding them. She went above and beyond and did great with their differing needs. She was also excellent with medicating!
