About: I have extensive experience in both animal welfare and veterinary clinic settings, giving me a strong foundation in pet care, behavior, and health. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to seniors and pets needing extra patience or structure. I also graduated from Auburn in 2017 with a degree in animal sciences Through my work, I’ve gained hands-on experience with safe handling, administering medications (oral, transdermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, etc), recognizing signs of stress or illness, and supporting pets in new or unfamiliar environments. I’m available for drop-ins and walks, and I can accommodate morning, midday, and evening routines with boarding animals. About: I've dog and cat sat for various families growing up. I also regularly watch after my friend's dogs! I've cared for young kittens as well as puppies. I have flexibility to take care of your pups! I’m home throughout the day and work from home. I also am married with no children so I have a more flexible schedule. I have had dogs almost my entire life so I understand having a calm and safe environment is crucial for a dog's well being! I'm happy to take long walks and crate if needed. We don’t blair loud music or blair the tv in our home. My husband is also a huge dog person and will be supporting me and the dog sitting.

Sandra was recommended and boarding with her and Mark was the best experience ever. Missy’s stay with them was literally a doggy vacation with a Giant yard to play in, long walks, huge professional kennel for her to lounge in, and, picture/video updates every day! They even have a TV in the temperature controlled kennel space so our girl could listen to tv like she is used to at our house. I look forward to using them again. They are a bit of a drive for me but I will use them every time over trying any of the 15 closer results rover showed me. It is well worth the peace of mind knowing that your dogs are being pampered not just boarded.”

About: We recently had to say goodbye to our elderly dog and while we aren't ready to find a new four-legged friend we want to take care of yours! We have had multiple dogs throughout our lives and have taken care of lots of dogs of all kinds for our friends. My wife and I own Heritage House, a boutique bed & breakfast and event venue in Opelika. We live on site in a separate, private residence. This is our full time job so at least one of us would pretty much always be around while hosting your dog. We have a small fenced section of the property for letting your dog out on short breaks and would also be taking lots of walks, as needed, around our very safe neighborhood. We are flexible based on your dog's needs and could do crating if necessary, but we prefer to let well behaved, house trained pups run free in the house.
