I have extensive experience in both animal welfare and veterinary clinic settings, giving me a strong foundation in pet care, behavior, and health. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to seniors and pets needing extra patience or structure. I also graduated from Auburn in 2017 with a degree in animal sciences Through my work, I’ve gained hands-on experience with safe handling, administering medications (oral, transdermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, etc), recognizing signs of stress or illness, and supporting pets in new or unfamiliar environments. I’m calm, reliable, and very detail-oriented, and I take pride in keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away.

Spirit had a wonderful time staying with Laura. It almost hurt our feelings when we left her there how excited that she was to be there and how uninterested she was in the fact that we were leaving. That makes us feel like Laura treats her like she is at home. We highly recommend her to keep your babies.
Laura was incredibly gentle and patient with sensitive Reo. Thanks to her, I think Reo really grew to like her! She also sent us lots of photos and updates, so we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We would absolutely love to have Laura watch Reo again in the future ☺️
We feel like Laura and Spirit have become pals. Laura treats her like her furry roommate. We plan to leave Spirit with her anytime that it works out. She has a true love for and knowledge of dogs, that is very obvious in talking to her. We would highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!

We were looking for someone to make Spirit feel right at home. We feel like we accomplished that with Laura. She and Spirit hit it off right away. We plan on using her many more times in the future.
Laura is amazing! She kept our senior dog who can be a little anxious in new places. Within 30 minutes, we got a pic of her and she looked so relaxed with Laura! She has a gift of becoming best buds with your pet and you can tell she truly loves caring for them!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and work from home full time that allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins and walks, and I can accommodate morning, midday, and evening routines with boarding animals. I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s normal schedule to keep things consistent and low-stress.
