“Linda is great with both my fur babies. I have a senior dog on various medications and she’s so wonderful about keeping her on her schedule. She is also great at keeping me posted about what’s going on and sending me pictures/videos. She has been a blessing!”

“Fantastic service ! Allison is always very thorough with her sessions , always punctual , and always puts my mind at ease over the well-being of my little fur babies . I will absolutely be requesting her again during any of my travels .”

“Kim was wonderful! She gave our cat lots of much-needed attention and helped us keep our newly planted garden alive. She made sure we received plenty of updates while we were away. And she was incredibly conscientious - even checking to see if she could do anything special to comfort our cat during storms.”

About: I’ve had animals around the house my entire life, and I’ve been trusted to petsit and housesit for friends and neighbors since I was a teenager. I have two cats of my own, but I regularly care for others’ pets as well. This summer I have most of the week free, and evenings T/W/Th by request! I love all animals, no matter the energy level! Whether they need to play ‘til they drop, or just want to curl up and sit beside you, I’m happy to accommodate.
“Diane did a wonderful job taking care of Cecilia. When she came for the meet and greet, she brought a notebook, asked questions, and got to know Cecilia. While I was away, she sent pictures and detailed stories of their time together. She obviously has a love for animals, and that comes through in her attention and performance. I will certainly be using her again!”

“Not only has Regan taken excellent care of our dogs during multiple visits (drop-in, as well as house sitting), but when one of our dogs became ill through no fault of his own, he stayed with her past his designated departure time until someone could come pick her up and take her to the emergency vet. I can not recommend him highly enough.”

“Brandi is a caring sitter and she communicates well and responds timely to any question or concerns we had. She took the extra time to make sure we felt confident being that it was our first time using Rover.”

About: I have extensive experience in both animal welfare and veterinary clinic settings, giving me a strong foundation in pet care, behavior, and health. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to seniors and pets needing extra patience or structure. I also graduated from Auburn in 2017 with a degree in animal sciences Through my work, I’ve gained hands-on experience with safe handling, administering medications (oral, transdermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, etc), recognizing signs of stress or illness, and supporting pets in new or unfamiliar environments. I’m calm, reliable, and very detail-oriented, and I take pride in keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and work from home full time that allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins and walks, and I can accommodate morning, midday, and evening routines with boarding animals. I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s normal schedule to keep things consistent and low-stress. With my background in animal welfare and veterinary clinics, safety is always my top priority. I’m experienced in reading body language, handling pets safely, and recognizing early signs of stress or illness. In your home and mine, I make sure routines are followed closely and your pet stays comfortable in their environment. I’m respectful of your space, detail-oriented, and always prioritize clear communication so you feel confident while you’re away.
About: I've grown up with pets, being in a family that loved the furry company. From sugar gliders to German shepherds, we had it all and they all lived their best lives. I used to live on a farm as well and got even more experience with animals from rabbits to horses, but I have to say my favorite is a dog. A dog is the best companion because theyre loyal, protective, and the friendliest creature on earth. I do have part time jobs but have a lot of daily availability that I can use to care for the animal/s. I have nighttime available as well except it may be a bit later on some days. Its usually 50/50. Unfortunately I cannot care for a pet in my home just because I live with others at my family, but if at the client's home I would follow directions explicitly if provided, keep the space tidy, and only be where necessary to give your pet the best care.

Opelika cat parents share their Rover experiences
So thankful we found Sam! We have one kitty that needs medication every 12 hours so this is always a concern for us. Sam was very comfortable with our cats, was prompt about the 12 hour timeline and gave us full reports afterwards. She was willing to play with the cats when the weather precluded them to go outside. Overall, all parties were very happy; look forward to having Sam watch the kitties again
