About: I’ve had experience with dogs since I was 8 starting with my first ever dog Cupcake. Since then I have taken care of dogs of all sizes for neighbors and friends. I am very good with senior dogs, and energetic puppies alike! I love to learn how each dog’s personality shines. I am currently taking online college courses for the summer. My classes being online gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I am willing to work out times with people on an individual basis! About: Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital, I developed a strong passion for animal care from an early age and gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of species. I have personally cared for four dogs and a rabbit, giving me a deep understanding of daily pet care, responsibility, and animal behavior. In addition to personal experience, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital and shelter throughout my senior year of high school and during my freshman and sophomore years of college. In this role, I assisted with patient care, monitored animals, maintained clean and safe environments, and supported veterinarians and staff with daily operations. I also volunteer at a horse ranch during my free time, where I assist with animal care and ranch responsibilities. I have lots of experience with larger dogs like German Shepards and pit bulls as well as smaller dogs like Boston terriers. I am a graduate student at Auburn and I work from home a few days a week. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and always sit for friends and family. I’ve sat anything from a pug to a golden doodle! About: My name is Janie, and I’m a student at Auburn University currently taking only two classes per week, which means I have an extremely flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I have been training and caring for a variety of dog and cat breeds since I was 14 years old, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I do not have any pets living with me, and while I do not have a fenced yard, your pet will always be kept on a leash and closely supervised during walks and outdoor time to ensure their safety when staying in my care. I am comfortable administering medications and providing any necessary medical care, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. Your pet’s health, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I am committed to providing them with a loving, safe, and attentive environment while you’re away. Pet care can fit in whenever I do not have classes which is only 6 hours out of the full week. I prioritize your pets over a social calendar or other non emergency obligations. I take care of them like they are my own. If the dog or cats sleep in beds at home, then they will be treated with the same care if that is what they prefer. If the animal needs medical care or medicine given, I am able to administer. Basically your animals won’t even know you are gone because of how similar their routine will be!
