About: Hi! My name is Brooke, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. Dogs have always been a part of my family, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I currently have my own cat that I’ve cared for over the past 3 years, as well as my mini dachshund that I’ve had for 2 years, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets like family. I have about 8 years of experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and, of course lots of love and attention. I’ll be starting my first year teaching this fall, which means I have a very flexible schedule and lots of availability throughout the summer! I’ve also been babysitting since I was 15, which has taught me the importance of communication, responsibility, patience, and creating a safe and comfortable environment. I know every pet has different needs and personalities, and I’ll make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and pictures so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands! 🐾 I have a very flexible schedule and lots of availability throughout the summer before starting my first year teaching in the fall. I’m available for daytime visits, walks, overnight stays, and weekend care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific needs or preferences their pet may have. I know pets are often most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to make them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owner is away. Safety is very important to me, and I always make sure pets are supervised, secure, and in a clean environment. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and surroundings during walks and outdoor time, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level. I also make sure the home is respected and kept tidy, and I’m happy to provide updates and pictures so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital, I developed a strong passion for animal care from an early age and gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of species. I have personally cared for four dogs and a rabbit, giving me a deep understanding of daily pet care, responsibility, and animal behavior. In addition to personal experience, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital and shelter throughout my senior year of high school and during my freshman and sophomore years of college. In this role, I assisted with patient care, monitored animals, maintained clean and safe environments, and supported veterinarians and staff with daily operations. I also volunteer at a horse ranch during my free time, where I assist with animal care and ranch responsibilities. My background has allowed me to become comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments while developing strong compassion, communication, and caregiving skills. currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate plenty of time to animal care and attention throughout the day. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine, and I enjoy maintaining a structured schedule to ensure animals receive consistent care, exercise, and companionship. I have four personal dogs and regularly spend time finding new walking trails, parks, and outdoor areas to take my pack on adventures and exercise outings. Staying active with my dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets, whether in my own home or in a client’s home. Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital and working as a Veterinary Assistant taught me how to properly handle animals, recognize behavioral changes, and maintain clean, safe, and stress-free environments for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I am very organized and dependable, so I like to keep pets on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. I have four dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and treating every animal like family. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and exploring new trails and outdoor spaces to keep them active and engaged.
