About: I have been caring for pets my whole life. I've cared for all pets from dogs to reptiles. I have had many puppies and a few senior dogs as well. I am very knowledgeable about dog care. I have been a dog sitter several times for friends and family. My family consists of a dog, a cat, a leopard gecko, and two sweet guinea pigs! I have experience with all kinds of animals, including small animals and reptiles! I am a volunteer with Auburn University's Natural History Museum and handle and care for multiple different species of animals. I am a full-time college student studying wildlife ecology. Most of my classes are online, so my schedule is open most of the time! In my own home, I treat all my animals like they are my biological children (which they are). They are extremely spoiled, and I love them dearly. I would definitely extend this love towards a client's pet because I love animals, no matter the size or species!

About: Hi! My name is Carli! I am a student at Auburn University, and I cannot wait to take care of your pets! I have been pet sitting for about 8 years now, and I absolutely love it! I have always been a HUGE pet lover since I was young. This is also due to the fact that I have never had less than 3 dogs and one cat in my household at all times; so it is safe to say I understand the responsibilities of taking care of animals! I do think I am a great fit for the job, and I cannot wait to give your pets all of the love and attention they deserve! I currently have a part-time job during the afternoon on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3-7. My only full class days are Tuesday and Thursdays, but I am done by 4:00. About: Ever since I was a little girl I have grown up around animals and rescuing animals. I absolutely love any fur baby and am always the one asking to pet your dog or cat or play with them. I have senior experience with dogs and am able to administer medication. A lot of my pets have had complex medical problems, so i am used to helping any baby out with whatever he/she needs. My pets are my safe space and mean the absolute world to me, so when I take care of any other pet I love them like my own. I currently work part time at a job that is flexible. So I would have time to hang with your furry friends and give them tons of love and care. I will care for pets in my clients home by always abiding by the pets safety, happiness, and comfort. I always want to make sure the pet is safe and happy in all that I do.

About: As a vet student, I am very knowledgeable about animal health and behavior. I will treat your pet as one of my own while you’re away! I am currently on summer break so I’m home 90% of the time. I will make sure your dog is walked at least 3x a day and receives treats! I have a friendly 3 year old cat who loves making new friends. I have a patio where your baby can get sunlight and I can also send you pictures upon your request.

About: I have grown up with pets, I got my own dog when I was 12. I walked, bathed her, and fed her. After school I would walk many neighborhood dogs. I love all animals. We had a cat that got fixed and she ate out her stitches completely and the wound opened up. I calmly held her, packed the wound, and wrapped her up. I held her all the way to the vet. I’ve always loved animals and will take care of yours just as I would my own. Since I have a dog I care for her everyday. I have a job currently at a restaurant so my schedule varies every week, I usually work morning shifts until around 5 pm, but my schedule is different most weeks. I take my dog out right when I wake up and right when I get home, I will also feed her right when I get home. I have a little front yard but the neighborhood I am in is a good place to walk dogs. I have a little dog of my own and I make sure to keep my house clean and anything that could harm her is up and out of the way. In another clients home I would make sure to keep the area just as I found it and take the dog wherever the owner usually would walk there’s or if they have any other requests I would be willing to do them.

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.

About: I’m a biology Ph.D. student with a strong background in animal behavior, so pet care is something I take seriously beyond just “I like animals.” I’ve worked with and studied animal behavior across different species, including birds, fish, reptiles, ferrets, cats, dogs, and other small animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable reading body language, stress signals, fear responses, curiosity, overexcitement, and the difference between an animal needing attention versus needing space. What sets me apart is that I do not treat every pet the same. A nervous cat, an energetic dog, a shy lizard, a curious ferret, and a bird that is easily startled all need different handling. I pay close attention to each animal’s normal routine, personality, and comfort level. I move calmly, avoid forcing interaction, and try to earn trust instead of assuming it. I’ve had my own pets and grew up around family pets, especially cats, and I’m also comfortable with less “typical” animals like ferrets, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I know that some pets are easy right away, while others take time, patience, and consistency. I actually enjoy working with the ones that need a little extra understanding. I’m careful with the basics: food, fresh water, litter boxes, walks, enclosures, doors, gates, leashes, temperature needs, and owner instructions. I’m also very comfortable giving updates, noticing behavior changes, and communicating if something seems off. My goal is to keep your pet safe, calm, and cared for in a way that matches their normal life as much as possible. My schedule is flexible, especially with advance notice. As a student, I’m used to balancing responsibilities and planning ahead, so pet care fits well into my routine. For drop-in visits, walks, or sitting, I like to know the pet’s normal schedule so I can keep things as familiar as possible. I’m happy to work around feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication instructions if clearly explained, and any specific routine your pet is used to. Safety is the main thing I focus on. I’m careful with doors, gates, crates, leashes, food instructions, and anything a pet could get into while their owner is away. I do not assume every animal wants the same type of attention, so I move calmly and let them warm up at their own pace. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely and try to leave things exactly how I found them. I’m respectful of the home, the pet’s routine, and any boundaries the owner sets. If something seems off, like a pet not eating, acting unusually stressed, or having an accident, I would rather communicate than ignore it.

About: I volunteered at my local humane society for several months and I enjoyed working with the animals there! I mainly walked and played with the dogs, but I spent time with cats as well. I also have personal experience with my cousins’ dogs (a husky, a black lab, and Maltese mix), as well as dog sitting for friends. I will keep your pets happy and safe by giving them all the love they need, fed at the appropriate times, and make sure that they’re all in my sight and watches over. About: I've had all types of pets growing up. Have even bottle-fed multiple litters of stray kittens! Very responsible and reliable, especially when it comes to taking care of someone’s animals My schedule is typically pretty open! I part-time bartend so on my off days, I am available all day long. And on the days I go into work (depending on which shift I’m working), usually half of my day is wide open I am able to travel to your home and check on and/or walk/exercise your pet. I am capable of house-sitting, if needed! We can discuss more specialized services you may be needing for your pet, as well (senior, special needs, etc).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I’ve grown up with them, and now have 3 of my own! Size does not scare me at all, so I would love to watch your fur-baby! I have a very flexible and open schedule. My schedule changes weekly, but it is always open and flexible! I am never gone for more than 6 hours! I have a fenced in yard, and crating a dog is no problem! They are constantly being watched for their safety! I really just try to match the routine the dog has now, so when they meet someone new, they will still have a constant routine!

About: I have taken care of dogs since for around 8 years. I started before I could drive and I would walk over to my neighbors house and feed/ play with their dogs while they were out of town. I have still continued to dog sit every once in a while when I am needed. I am a college student at Auburn University. I am also from Opelika so everyone that I have been dog sitting for in high school, I am still able to help out today. My schedule for next semester is very open and not too busy. About: I’ve taken care of dogs in my neighborhood since I was 15. I also have experience with my 2 dogs at home, and my senior dog Reggie who is 14. I also have experience with working dogs, and more specifically the breed of German Shorthair Pointers. Now that I am in school I have two cats with me, Biscuit and Tinkerbell! They both get along well with other dogs and cats. I am in my second year of pharmacy school at Harrison College of Pharmacy at Auburn University. My current class schedule is: Monday 8-11 AM Tuesday 8-11 AM AND 3-5 PM Wednesday: completely free Thursday: 8 AM - 4 PM Friday: 8-11 AM I am an in my second year of pharmacy school at Auburn University. I also live in a neighborhood with lots of grass and sidewalks so I can easily fit walks for your pets into my schedule in the morning or evening, and would love to take them to parks as well! Dogs are welcome on any furniture and in any room in my home, and I have an extra kennel if needed for them! They will be regularly taken outside and cared for!
