About: I grew up training puppy’s and always having a dog/cat in the home. I am a loving dog sitter and will give your dog the care they need! I am an early riser and love to go on walks so your furry friend will get great exercise!! I like schedules and routines, and my house is always very clean! I do not have any animals so there is no issue worrying if they will get along! I live in a very spacious apartment and absolutely love to go on walks!

About: I’ve been taking care and looking after dogs as long as I can remember! I’ve had friends and family rely on me to care for their fur babies! I always make sure they are comfortable and well entertained to the point they enjoy their experience! Every fur baby is cared with intention. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty availability for the pups!! I’m available for boarding during the weekend and weekdays! I currently live in an apartment! About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for pets of my own as well as pets for friends and family. I’m comfortable with feeding, playtime, walks, litter boxes, giving lots of attention, and keeping pets on their normal routine. I’m patient, dependable, and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets while you’re away. I am a college student so I can pet sit after classes on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and weekends! I would love to take care of your fur babies! I have a kitten named Fid, I recently adopted him. I care for him by feeding him his wet food and adding water so that he does not get dehydrated. I also make sure his paws stay clean by cleaning them once a week. I always make sure he is safe and gets lots of cuddles!

About: I have two dogs of my own, and been around dogs my entire life. Have dog sat for family and co-workers before. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and birds, took care of them myself, and then got my own once I moved out! we have chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, snakes, mice, and a cat! we had a dog and a rabbit at one point so I'm very versed in caring for all kinds of babies! I'm a stay at home mom so, other than my baby and my pets, they'll have my full attention on a daily basis. if we leave the home, we're never out too long. I have multiple animals myself. I tend to keep little supply kits in case of emergency and extra supplies at all times. I love all animals and would go way out of my way to care for yours like they were my own, no matter the type of pet.

About: This is my job. I know how hard it can be to leave your fur babies when you go outta town and I want to be able to provide comfort and care for your animals while you are gone. I love and care for animals and their wellbeing. I believe finding someone good and kind for your fur babies matters. I make sure they get plenty of pets and attention. I don’t let their water run out and refill as much as possible especially during summer. I am understanding and patient with animals especially if they have high energy and need to be outside a bit more than others to get some exercise/ energy out. I care about animals period. I have a pretty big range of experience with different dogs. I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at a time different sizes and ages. I’ve taken care of a diabetic cat (my baby she lived a very long life 19 years) I have taken care of a diabetic dog also. I got a puppy 8-weeks who is now 5 years old which he is a husky so very energetic and talkative. Taken care of giving elderly dogs medicine. I communicate pretty well. I also make taking care of your fur babies a priority. Thank you for choosing me! I can house sit and stay overnights if needed. I will make taking care of your fur babies a priority and treat them as if their were mine. (I have a husky) If you do a drop in visit I will be there longer than just 30 minutes. I don’t like to leave my baby for more than 4-5 hours max. That’s why I offer going to drop in 3 times. I don’t mind traveling to make sure your fur baby is taken care of throughout the day. I can take your fur baby walking giving them water and some love. If you have a fenced in yard I will still go and watch them outside you never know what could happen. I will update you as much as you would like.

About: Was a human nurse, now I'm a full time student. I have raised two children and I own dog and two cats, caring is in my nature. I am a furgrandma to two beautiful amazing dogs. I work M-F at an office job with flexibility. This allows me lots of freedom, my kids are 19, and 21 so no restrictions at home. I do work M-F, 8-5pm. I can leave work if need be to check on your pet more often then just the walk, and of course if I'm staying the night; I’ll be right over after work. I will follow your instructions to the T, as long as it's safe for the animal and me! I want your furbaby to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 8 years old and truly love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including managing complex feeding schedules and multi-pet households. I’m especially comfortable with senior pet care. My own dog who passed in July 2026 was quite elderly, so I have hands-on experience administering oral medications, injections, and fluids, as well as providing the extra patience and attention older pets need. I also understand the importance of respecting your home and keeping things clean and consistent with your normal routine while house sitting. With my hybrid work schedule, I have the flexibility to stop in during the workday for potty breaks, walks, medications, check-ins, and extra cuddles. My own dog got spooked easily during thunderstorms as well as when people she was unfamiliar with came in, so I always am careful to make sure likeminded pets are secure and safe as possible. I like to greet shy pets first with a little treat, slow movements, and a gentle voice so they can grow to trust and depend on me.

About: I have grown up with pets, I got my own dog when I was 12. I walked, bathed her, and fed her. After school I would walk many neighborhood dogs. I love all animals. We had a cat that got fixed and she ate out her stitches completely and the wound opened up. I calmly held her, packed the wound, and wrapped her up. I held her all the way to the vet. I’ve always loved animals and will take care of yours just as I would my own. Since I have a dog I care for her everyday. I have a job currently at a restaurant so my schedule varies every week, I usually work morning shifts until around 5 pm, but my schedule is different most weeks. I take my dog out right when I wake up and right when I get home, I will also feed her right when I get home. I have a little front yard but the neighborhood I am in is a good place to walk dogs. I have a little dog of my own and I make sure to keep my house clean and anything that could harm her is up and out of the way. In another clients home I would make sure to keep the area just as I found it and take the dog wherever the owner usually would walk there’s or if they have any other requests I would be willing to do them.

About: I raised my first dog at 7, and have been the designated dog trainer, and sitter since. I have fostered over 7 dogs in my lifetime. All different breeds and energy levels. The oldest dog I have adopted was a 15 year old blind dachshund. I am experienced with animals with conditions such as hip pain, aggression, blindness, and hearing impairment. I have two corgis currently, one raised and trained by me, the other a rescue. I am experienced in handling reactive, aggressive dogs, and am equipped to redirect their attention from the trigger with their favorite treats or toy. My work schedule is inconsistent, but I work nights and early afternoons about 4-5 days a week, and can stop by to feed, or walk early in the morning, and afternoons before work or on my break I have experience with reactive, very energetic, and or elderly animals. I have looked after just over 7 dogs in my life time, and trained a corgi. I am very patient, it’s their first time on earth too, but assertive if the need arises

About: My family and I have taken care of 3 Golden retrievers since I was 8 years old. I love to play with animals, they bring out my playful childlike self. In middle and high school, I took care of two different neighbors dogs. My mother has a 5 lb shi-poo who’s small but mighty. For your dog, I can bathe, feed, walk, and play with them. Any special services they require I’m more than willing to provide. Every day I wake up at 5:00 AM, and I get to bed by 9:00 PM. I work from home and create my own hours buying vehicles and selling them. I’m available throughout the daytime and nighttime to care for pets. I have plenty of fenced in areas near me to take them on bathroom breaks and get exercise. I need frequent breaks with my work, so walks and bathroom breaks are good ways to get away for second when I or the pup needs to.

About: I’m a biology Ph.D. student with a strong background in animal behavior, so pet care is something I take seriously beyond just “I like animals.” I’ve worked with and studied animal behavior across different species, including birds, fish, reptiles, ferrets, cats, dogs, and other small animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable reading body language, stress signals, fear responses, curiosity, overexcitement, and the difference between an animal needing attention versus needing space. What sets me apart is that I do not treat every pet the same. A nervous cat, an energetic dog, a shy lizard, a curious ferret, and a bird that is easily startled all need different handling. I pay close attention to each animal’s normal routine, personality, and comfort level. I move calmly, avoid forcing interaction, and try to earn trust instead of assuming it. I’ve had my own pets and grew up around family pets, especially cats, and I’m also comfortable with less “typical” animals like ferrets, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I know that some pets are easy right away, while others take time, patience, and consistency. I actually enjoy working with the ones that need a little extra understanding. I’m careful with the basics: food, fresh water, litter boxes, walks, enclosures, doors, gates, leashes, temperature needs, and owner instructions. I’m also very comfortable giving updates, noticing behavior changes, and communicating if something seems off. My goal is to keep your pet safe, calm, and cared for in a way that matches their normal life as much as possible. My schedule is flexible, especially with advance notice. As a student, I’m used to balancing responsibilities and planning ahead, so pet care fits well into my routine. For drop-in visits, walks, or sitting, I like to know the pet’s normal schedule so I can keep things as familiar as possible. I’m happy to work around feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication instructions if clearly explained, and any specific routine your pet is used to. Safety is the main thing I focus on. I’m careful with doors, gates, crates, leashes, food instructions, and anything a pet could get into while their owner is away. I do not assume every animal wants the same type of attention, so I move calmly and let them warm up at their own pace. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely and try to leave things exactly how I found them. I’m respectful of the home, the pet’s routine, and any boundaries the owner sets. If something seems off, like a pet not eating, acting unusually stressed, or having an accident, I would rather communicate than ignore it.

About: My dad is a veterinarian and i was raised on a farm around horses, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. Growing up we had 5 dogs and 4 cats so i know how to properly and carefully handle most. I also worked as a veterinary assistant at my partners animal hospital. I am currently working part time but my work shifts don’t start until 5, and I have classes on monday and wednesday all day from 9:30-3:15. The animals care and comfort is priority to me, so i would make sure that he or she is comfortable and set boundaries before anything else.

About: I’ve had a variety of animals growing up. There was never a time in my household where i did not have a pet. I am great with animals, they seem to love me as much as I do them! I attend Auburn university. I usually have 1-3 classes a day, but I am done by 12pm. I am available between 12-6! What better way to spend my free time! I have a strong love for animals. I am very passionate about them. If i were to watch your fur baby, I would play with them, make sure they eat well, take them out for fresh air! I even turn on cartoons that they can see the colors with!

I have assisted in caring for many kinds of dogs and cats since I was young. I’ve had and cared for everything from elderly micro Yorkies to large, wild Great Dane puppies! About: I’ve always had animals since I was young. Lived on a farm so I had all kinds of animals! I know how to administer meds, for diabetic animals as well! I work Sunday -Tuesday 12 hours night shift 7 pm-7 am. My husband also helps me with animals if needed! He always willing to help out however needed. I have a big fenced in yard, live really close to nice dog parks! Lots of walking trails near me as well. My husband will be sure to give the pets extra love as well! I have two dogs and they get along great with other dogs! Especially nibbler, he gets super excited to be around everyone.
