About: Growing up, our neighbors on our street all had animals that they would trust my family with taking care of while they were gone. Being older now, I still have the same love of taking care of animals whether it is my own dog and cat or other people’s! I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy look after such an important part of your family and would love to be that person!! I’m a teacher so I get off work fairly early and have weekends off to help others who need it! Whether that is letting them out, taking them for a walk or feedings! I know animals prefer their own environment and would love to create a safe and trusting experience for them right inside your home to make them as comfortable as possible!

About: I am a graduate of UAB and am currently attending Auburn University as part of UAB’s Rural Medicine Program. I will start medical school at UAB next fall. I’ve been around dogs for 18 years, including having five dogs of my own which vary in breed and size. My dog, Jax, has been my best friend throughout college and goes everywhere with me! I have extensive personal experience working with dogs that require special care, such as medications and food restrictions. Additionally, I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs. I understand every dog has certain needs or wants to be happy, mentally and physically. I don’t believe in bad dogs! Every dog has their own personality and traits that make them special, and I am dedicated to learning the best way to handle and communicate with every dog I encounter to ensure an effective relationship. I have classes every weekday morning until around 11-12:30, depending on the day. I have one class for two hours on Monday evenings. I do occasionally travel to visit family on weekends. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to play. There is shade, water, and the gates are reinforced to prevent runaways! Additionally, the house has additional space for a dog to hang out and avoid interaction, if they desire.

About: Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital, I developed a strong passion for animal care from an early age and gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of species. I have personally cared for four dogs and a rabbit, giving me a deep understanding of daily pet care, responsibility, and animal behavior. In addition to personal experience, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital and shelter throughout my senior year of high school and during my freshman and sophomore years of college. In this role, I assisted with patient care, monitored animals, maintained clean and safe environments, and supported veterinarians and staff with daily operations. I also volunteer at a horse ranch during my free time, where I assist with animal care and ranch responsibilities. My background has allowed me to become comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments while developing strong compassion, communication, and caregiving skills. currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate plenty of time to animal care and attention throughout the day. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine, and I enjoy maintaining a structured schedule to ensure animals receive consistent care, exercise, and companionship. I have four personal dogs and regularly spend time finding new walking trails, parks, and outdoor areas to take my pack on adventures and exercise outings. Staying active with my dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets, whether in my own home or in a client’s home. Growing up in a family-owned animal hospital and working as a Veterinary Assistant taught me how to properly handle animals, recognize behavioral changes, and maintain clean, safe, and stress-free environments for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I am very organized and dependable, so I like to keep pets on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. I have four dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and treating every animal like family. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and exploring new trails and outdoor spaces to keep them active and engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, carefully follow all instructions, and prioritize communication by providing updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and informed while they are away.

“Abby was working with us pre-COVID lockdown and was super professional, on time, and very attentive. Once our entire family went to work and learn from home, we cancelled services with Abby. Fast forward 9 months and we were hoping to get away for a last minute ski trip on New Year’s Day, but didn’t want to leave the dogs crated for so long, so I reached back out to Abby and with less than 24 hours notice, she made herself available to take care of the pups. She stopped by twice and gave us great updates while we were on the mountain. We couldn’t be more pleased with Abby. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve grown up with two dogs and have lived with both a small and a big dog. I’ve dog sat for my neighbors growing up. I’ve watch all kinds of dogs and have no problems with watching more than one dog in a household. I also have experience with both young and old dogs, so I know the different attentions each type needs. I am currently taking a summer class at Auburn University and I would love to spend my time watching a dog when not in my class. Over the summer I will be in Auburn taking one class at 8am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Outside of that I will be free to watch dogs. I’ve had two dogs growing up, one was always super active and loved walks the other loved belly rubs and staying in doors. I’m good with either type of dog. I’ve also dog sat for many different breeds of dogs so I’m good with all types.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and my friends dogs for years. I also have a cat which I have taken care of my whole life. I have experience of house/dog sitting for friends and family. I am currently a vet student with over 5 years of experience working in a general practice and emergency veterinary medicine. I am available most of the summer to help in whatever way is needed. I can walk, feed, let outside, and play with your pet. I am able to accommodate any of your pets needs. I can walk your fur baby on a leash or simply just let outside. Additionally, I have experience with giving medicine to dogs and cats. Any medical or other needs that your pet may require I can provide.

About: I've had all types of pets growing up. Have even bottle-fed multiple litters of stray kittens! I'm very responsible and reliable, especially when it comes to taking care of someone’s animals! My schedule is typically pretty open! I part-time bartend so on my off days, I am available all day long! And on the days I go into work (depending on which shift I’m working), usually half of my day is wide open, as well! I am able to travel to your home and check on and/or walk/exercise your pet. I am also capable of house-sitting, if needed! We can discuss more specialized services you may be needing for your pet, as well (senior, special needs, etc).

About: Hello fur parents of Auburn! If you would like someone to treat your dog like family, I am your girl! I have a huge heart for animals, but especially dogs. I have experience with all types of dogs. I have my own four legged friend, Roscoe, who is my world. I rescued him in August of 2020. I also am heavily involved in the Lee County Humane Society and foster frequently. I treat them as family and I can ensure you I will do the same for your four legged friend. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I cannot wait to meet your fur babies and give them ALL the TLC they deserve. I have much experience administering all types of meds including flea/heartworm prevention, shots, daily medicines etcetera. I currently live in an neighborhood with a variety of walking trails/paths for me and your pup to explore.I also have a very large fenced in backyard for the pups to play and romp around in. I am all about car rides and taking the pups to the local dog park or a nice stroll in downtown Auburn. I work for an online boutique from 8-5 Monday through Friday and I am available during my lunch breaks (anywhere between 11 AM and 1 PM). I treat all my pups like they are my own. I can ensure you that your pup will be treated like family when they are with me. My passion for animals is SO BIG!

About: I’ve taken care of multiple different dogs over the last couple years! I’ve taken care of dogs for my friends, coworkers, family, and my parent’s coworkers/boss! I currently work 3 days a week, but I pick my own schedule and can let you know if I am available certain days! I am also a part-time student, I only have class 2 days a week! Mondays from 12:30-1:45 and Wednesdays from 12:30-3:15! I have a dog park at my apartment complex, but I also take my miniature dachshund to local dog parks or just for a daily walk! I love animals and my miniature dachshund loves to meet new friends! He is good with small and big dogs!

About: I grew up training puppy’s and always having a dog/cat in the home. I am a loving dog sitter and will give your dog the care they need! I am an early riser and love to go on walks so your furry friend will get great exercise!! I like schedules and routines, and my house is always very clean! About: I’ve taken care of dogs half of my life. My great grand dad taught me everything about dogs and he trained them while I was his student. About: I have been caring for pets my whole life. I've cared for all pets from dogs to reptiles. I have had many puppies and a few senior dogs as well. I am very knowledgeable about dog care. I have been a dog sitter several times for friends and family. My family consists of a dog, a cat, a leopard gecko, and two sweet guinea pigs! I have experience with all kinds of animals, including small animals and reptiles! I am a volunteer with Auburn University's Natural History Museum and handle and care for multiple different species of animals. I am a full-time college student studying wildlife ecology. Most of my classes are online, so my schedule is open most of the time! In my own home, I treat all my animals like they are my biological children (which they are). They are extremely spoiled, and I love them dearly. I would definitely extend this love towards a client's pet because I love animals, no matter the size or species!

About: I’ve been caring for pets throughout my whole life. I adore animals with all of my heart (trust me - I would pet a wild grizzly bear if I could.) and couldn’t imagine life without my chihuahua, Sugar.
