About: I’ve had taken care of pets ever since I was 14. I love all type of animals and have so much fun with them. I overall make sure the animals are comfortable and safe while in my care. I currently work a part time job. I’m mainly available during the weekends and mornings or late nights. I am a very flexible person and very understanding when it comes tho scheduling. I always make sure to follow the directions and pay attention to every detail the owner tells me about their animal. I try to see if the animal itself is comfortable and show that I am a very trusting person to be around. Love to take them out and have play with them!

About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.

Hensley did a wonderful job caring for our two heeler mixes for the weekend. Our younger dog can be very skittish around new people, but Hensley took it all in stride and was able to gain her confidence and even take her for walks. Great communication and photos of the dogs throughout her stay, we highly recommend her as a sitter!
I had a truly stress free trip thanks to Laura! I was so glad to find someone to stay in my house with my dog so that my dog would be as comfortable as possible while I was gone. Laura provided me with updates every morning and evening, along with a photo. I hope Laura will be available to watch Phoebe next time I leave town again.
