About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have hands-on experience working as a veterinary assistant, where I safely handled dogs and cats of all sizes, administered medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision, monitored pets during recovery, and learned to recognize signs of illness or distress. I'm also experienced with senior pets, puppies and kittens, and pets that need a little extra patience or special care. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, someone to stick to a medication schedule, or simply lots of love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them like one of my own. I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and my goal is always to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care while keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages. I'm currently taking a gap year before beginning my bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology Management at Auburn University. This gives me a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. My availability may vary slightly from day to day, but I keep my calendar up to date and always communicate clearly. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or extra attention while you're away, I'm committed to providing reliable, compassionate care. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. With my experience as a veterinary assistant, I'm comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including seniors and pets that require medication. During every visit, I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of exercise or playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of love and attention. I always respect your home, follow your care instructions closely, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return!

About: I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and my first job was walking my neighbor's dogs! Since I am in college I can't have a dog of my own, but I am ready to make fast friends with yours! I am a student and work nights as a server so I have most mornings and afternoons to spend wherever is needed to care for your pet. I also am good at staying the night and making a quality connection with your pets. Although I cannot house your pets in my apartment, I am comfortable staying at your house and taking them to a local park. I will give your pets detailed and attentive care, as often as possible.

About: I’ve been taking care and looking after dogs as long as I can remember! I’ve had friends and family rely on me to care for their fur babies! I always make sure they are comfortable and well entertained to the point they enjoy their experience! Every fur baby is cared with intention. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty availability for the pups!! I’m available for boarding during the weekend and weekdays! I currently live in an apartment! All pets will need a crate! I also have a lovely fur baby to keep company with your fur baby!!

About: I grew up on a farm so I’ve been around animals all my life. Family and friends have trusted me for all of their pet-sitting needs for years. I currently have two dogs. I’ve dog sat dogs of all ages in my home and in the owners’ homes. Last fall, I witnessed a man dumping two dogs near my home. One of them was pregnant. We were able to raise the puppies and give them and the mom to loving homes. We kept the other dog and now her and the chiweenie that we already owned are best friends. I also have experience with special needs dogs. My chiweenie recently lost his left eye after another dog jumped on him. I've learned to be patient with him as he regains confidence and navigates everyday life with one eye. I am a full-time student at college. I do not have a job but I am looking for a part-time gig to do along with pet care. My classes aren't all day so I would be able to care for pets in the morning and as needed in the later afternoon/night. In the client’s home, I can feed, water, play with and follow whatever specific instructions I’m given. I can walk your dog on a leash and make sure they always have water.

About: I have a lot of experience administering medications and shots to all dogs. I have walked all types of breeds and have sat for dogs with dietary restrictions. I currently work a full time job in Auburn, but I would be able to come in the mornings, on my lunch break, and after work. I would walk dogs in designated walking areas and depending on if there is a fence available I will let them play in a yard.

About: I've taken care of dogs, horses, and cattle since I was very little! I am currently in vet school learning how to take care of them even more I am currently in vet school, so my time is unfortunately limited, I would be able to walk and tend to your pet after my class hours! My plan is to be able to tend to your pet at your home! This will allow me to go and walk them around and feed/water them as needed

“I absolutely loved Emily for the i day I had her, unexpectedly I had a son come home from out of town working who had got into a disagreement with his girlfriend and had been drinking who just came by not knowing I was out of town to stay the evening and she understandably didn’t feel comfortable completing the contract and couldn’t iboard Lucy bc she has cats. Piecing together alternate drop ins for the remaining 3 days did not even compare to her and was very disappointed to not complete the contract as she was very efficient, kind, easy to work with sent pictures communicated exceptionally well and knew I had nothing to worry about and felt complete at peace and assured my dog was in the greatest of hands. In light of the unexpected situation she thankfully didn’t terminate me on Rover and effect my account standing and was understanding of the unexpected circumstances and understandably not feeling comfortable staying overnight. I’m new to Rover and she was my first experience and will say inspite of the early termination and lost payment the experience I did have with Emily made it a great. I would recommend if new to Rover setting up contingency plans and or making sure if situations arise unexpected drop in services are ok as alternative to in house so you don’t have to double pay for sitters. In light of it all Emily was very understanding communicated well and bc of how impressed I was with the communication and the 1 day of sitter care I bought her a gift back from my vacation as a thank you for the pictures and constant reassurance Lucy was in good hands. I had to meet up with her to give her some things that she left at the house and was gracious and understanding of the unexpected circumstance and apologized for not completing the contract and feeling comfortable with boarding staying or changing to drop in. Thankfully my sister and friend were able to come by once a day and it eased the extreme stress of not having a sitter and not even anticipating making back up plans but as I stated was a learning curve with utilizing the Rover app. I would use Rover again but just make sure to discuss contingency plans and flexibility in case of unexpected circumstances.. I would also recommend Emily highly she was a great sitter but just make sure to discuss contingency plans for unexpected events or have a back up plan.”

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.
