“I absolutely loved Emily for the i day I had her, unexpectedly I had a son come home from out of town working who had got into a disagreement with his girlfriend and had been drinking who just came by not knowing I was out of town to stay the evening and she understandably didn’t feel comfortable completing the contract and couldn’t iboard Lucy bc she has cats. Piecing together alternate drop ins for the remaining 3 days did not even compare to her and was very disappointed to not complete the contract as she was very efficient, kind, easy to work with sent pictures communicated exceptionally well and knew I had nothing to worry about and felt complete at peace and assured my dog was in the greatest of hands. In light of the unexpected situation she thankfully didn’t terminate me on Rover and effect my account standing and was understanding of the unexpected circumstances and understandably not feeling comfortable staying overnight. I’m new to Rover and she was my first experience and will say inspite of the early termination and lost payment the experience I did have with Emily made it a great. I would recommend if new to Rover setting up contingency plans and or making sure if situations arise unexpected drop in services are ok as alternative to in house so you don’t have to double pay for sitters. In light of it all Emily was very understanding communicated well and bc of how impressed I was with the communication and the 1 day of sitter care I bought her a gift back from my vacation as a thank you for the pictures and constant reassurance Lucy was in good hands. I had to meet up with her to give her some things that she left at the house and was gracious and understanding of the unexpected circumstance and apologized for not completing the contract and feeling comfortable with boarding staying or changing to drop in. Thankfully my sister and friend were able to come by once a day and it eased the extreme stress of not having a sitter and not even anticipating making back up plans but as I stated was a learning curve with utilizing the Rover app. I would use Rover again but just make sure to discuss contingency plans and flexibility in case of unexpected circumstances.. I would also recommend Emily highly she was a great sitter but just make sure to discuss contingency plans for unexpected events or have a back up plan.”

About: we have taken care of pets since childhood :) we have lots of experience with pets from A-to-Z and we provide photo and videos, along with additional detailed text updates. We treat others as family, we love to spoil others, and we also provide training if needed with positive reinforcement. We also not only provide pet sitting but plant sitting as well, we are huge into gardening and we can give lots of care information and advice on any plant that you have/want. About: I have a profound love for all animals. I have taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was young. I’m happy to work with your routine to make sure your pet gets the attention and care they are used to. In a client's home, I closely follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific preferences, to ensure your pet feels secure and stress-free. When caring for pets in my home, the setup I can provide varies. I do not have a yard for them to run in, but I do have a small fenced turf area for the dog to use to go to the bathroom. Still, for the most part, I can provide regular walks and outdoor time around the area on a leash, and even find places to bring your dog, or wherever you like to bring your pet, because I do not have a yard, but I can bring them to different places or the owner's yard if wanted. I have a crate available if your pet is crate-trained or needs a safe, quiet space. For cats, I have cat trees, scratchers, and toys to keep them comfortable and engaged. I monitor pets closely, maintain a clean, safe environment, and ensure they get plenty of attention. I also will not have my cat with me to keep her with her sister back home, but if I do, I will keep them completely separate to avoid stressing either animal out. I offer: Dog Walking- regular walks or as needed, Drop-In Visits-feeding, playtime, litter/yard care, House Sitting for your pet in the day, or Boarding overnight in my home. About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means going on runs with high-energy dogs or taking slower walks and giving extra comfort and attention to more relaxed pets. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and so loved while their owners are away. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years and absolutely love them as well. I know every cat is different, and I’m always patient and attentive to their routines and comfort level. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work a 9–5 job during the week, but I have an hour lunch break that gives me flexibility for walks, check-ins, or midday care. I also usually go on a run in the mornings and take walks after work or after dinner, so I’m very used to staying active and would love bringing a dog along if they enjoy extra exercise. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.

About: Along with being a dog owner for most of my life I’ve also shadowed in and helped my local vets office with walking, and taking care of dogs. Hello! I'm currently a full-time college student. My schedule allows me to provide consistent pet care, and I prioritize maintaining each pet's normal routine to keep them comfortable and happy.
