“I absolutely loved Emily for the i day I had her, unexpectedly I had a son come home from out of town working who had got into a disagreement with his girlfriend and had been drinking who just came by not knowing I was out of town to stay the evening and she understandably didn’t feel comfortable completing the contract and couldn’t iboard Lucy bc she has cats. Piecing together alternate drop ins for the remaining 3 days did not even compare to her and was very disappointed to not complete the contract as she was very efficient, kind, easy to work with sent pictures communicated exceptionally well and knew I had nothing to worry about and felt complete at peace and assured my dog was in the greatest of hands. In light of the unexpected situation she thankfully didn’t terminate me on Rover and effect my account standing and was understanding of the unexpected circumstances and understandably not feeling comfortable staying overnight. I’m new to Rover and she was my first experience and will say inspite of the early termination and lost payment the experience I did have with Emily made it a great. I would recommend if new to Rover setting up contingency plans and or making sure if situations arise unexpected drop in services are ok as alternative to in house so you don’t have to double pay for sitters. In light of it all Emily was very understanding communicated well and bc of how impressed I was with the communication and the 1 day of sitter care I bought her a gift back from my vacation as a thank you for the pictures and constant reassurance Lucy was in good hands. I had to meet up with her to give her some things that she left at the house and was gracious and understanding of the unexpected circumstance and apologized for not completing the contract and feeling comfortable with boarding staying or changing to drop in. Thankfully my sister and friend were able to come by once a day and it eased the extreme stress of not having a sitter and not even anticipating making back up plans but as I stated was a learning curve with utilizing the Rover app. I would use Rover again but just make sure to discuss contingency plans and flexibility in case of unexpected circumstances.. I would also recommend Emily highly she was a great sitter but just make sure to discuss contingency plans for unexpected events or have a back up plan.”

About: we have taken care of pets since childhood :) we have lots of experience with pets from A-to-Z and we provide photo and videos, along with additional detailed text updates. We treat others as family, we love to spoil others, and we also provide training if needed with positive reinforcement. We also not only provide pet sitting but plant sitting as well, we are huge into gardening and we can give lots of care information and advice on any plant that you have/want. About: I have owned a variety of pets throughout my life. I have also fostered 10 dogs of all ages and helped find them forever homes. This past year, I worked as an animal placement specialist at my local shelter and placed hundreds of dogs and cats into their forever homes. I have worked with a wide variety of dog breeds and I am knowledgeable with dog behavior. I also volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center. I am currently a full-time, nursing student at Auburn University. I am available most days when I am not in class. I am flexible can provide further details when needed. I able to travel to your home to care for your pets there. I have experience with giving meds. I am able to provide care as close to their regular routine as possible.

About: I own a Belgian Malinios + a Pitbull/Australian Shepherd mix. I will pet sit any fur baby you need me to! Before those pets I had a German Shepherd. I would love to take care of your baby and keep it safe and content while you get away from home wether it be for work, vacation, or medical. I have school, Monday-Thursday from 7:45am-11:45am. Once i come home i am able to come and pet sit. I have routines for my own animals so if you have a routine i would love to know it so i can abide! I have no current job due to personal issues but i have transportation. I drive myself there and i will have plenty time to play, care for, and keep your sweetheart safe. I keep one of my dogs in a large pen outside to keep him off the road. I go out to play with him 2-3 hours every day. With my puppy she stays inside and we play after every long nap she has and makes sure she goes outside with me very 30 minutes to ensure no accidents. If she has one it is immediately cleaned up and sanitized! She also gets enforced nap time in her crate to ensure she gets proper rest when she refuses her sleep times and becomes restless. I do not hit animals i just bring them outside for a bit until their next potty and reward. As for my cats they live inside with a litter box that is emptied out every other day. They get played with after their naps and i make sure no accidents happen on the floor with them.

About: My sister and I raised a litter of kittens when we were younger. I learned all about responsibility and how to handle animals early on. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am available on most days of the week and weekends. I am great with routines, cleanliness, and playtime. If you have any requests and details, like food and litter box specifics, toys, and schedules, I will gladly take notes.

About: I have a profound love for all animals. I have taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was young. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own, and I will treat all animals with as much love as I do my own. I am a stay at home mom with one child. I have all day to devote to playing and watching after every dog. I can tend to any needs that the dog may have. I have experience giving elderly dogs medication and being very attentive. I’m also very patient and do well with young and hyper pups! I have a fenced in back yard and plenty of land for pups to run and play! We have a loving and cozy home that dogs love to sleep in.

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 6 and owned 4 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to pet sit for them throughout high school. I used to only be a dog-person but recently became a cat-person as well, adopting my new kitten named Milo. I'm currently a full-time engineering student at Auburn University but have availability in the mornings and nights on Monday and Friday and available all day on Saturday and Sunday. I live in a studio apartment near Auburn University's campus. I live with just my kitten, Milo, but can come to your house to pet sit. I would be able to take dogs on walks whether they stay at my place or I come to you.
