About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years. Neighbors and family friends have relied on me to walk, feed and comfort their dogs and kittens.I greatly enjoy giving love to furry friends ! As a college student, the summer time allows me to have an extremely flexible schedule. I am also an early riser ready to pupsit ! I can easily crate, feed, and walk your dogs if needed. I enjoy being active and have toys available for energetic pups to play with.

About: I've taken care of dogs, horses, and cattle since I was very little! I am currently in vet school learning how to take care of them even more I am currently in vet school, so my time is unfortunately limited, I would be able to walk and tend to your pet after my class hours! My plan is to be able to tend to your pet at your home! This will allow me to go and walk them around and feed/water them as needed

About: I have a lot of experience administering medications and shots to all dogs. I have walked all types of breeds and have sat for dogs with dietary restrictions. I currently work a full time job in Auburn, but I would be able to come in the mornings, on my lunch break, and after work. I would walk dogs in designated walking areas and depending on if there is a fence available I will let them play in a yard.

About: I grew up on a farm so I’ve been around animals all my life. Family and friends have trusted me for all of their pet-sitting needs for years. I currently have two dogs. I’ve dog sat dogs of all ages in my home and in the owners’ homes. Last fall, I witnessed a man dumping two dogs near my home. One of them was pregnant. We were able to raise the puppies and give them and the mom to loving homes. We kept the other dog and now her and the chiweenie that we already owned are best friends. I also have experience with special needs dogs. My chiweenie recently lost his left eye after another dog jumped on him. I've learned to be patient with him as he regains confidence and navigates everyday life with one eye. I am a full-time student at college. I do not have a job but I am looking for a part-time gig to do along with pet care. My classes aren't all day so I would be able to care for pets in the morning and as needed in the later afternoon/night. In the client’s home, I can feed, water, play with and follow whatever specific instructions I’m given. I can walk your dog on a leash and make sure they always have water.

“I absolutely loved Emily for the i day I had her, unexpectedly I had a son come home from out of town working who had got into a disagreement with his girlfriend and had been drinking who just came by not knowing I was out of town to stay the evening and she understandably didn’t feel comfortable completing the contract and couldn’t iboard Lucy bc she has cats. Piecing together alternate drop ins for the remaining 3 days did not even compare to her and was very disappointed to not complete the contract as she was very efficient, kind, easy to work with sent pictures communicated exceptionally well and knew I had nothing to worry about and felt complete at peace and assured my dog was in the greatest of hands. In light of the unexpected situation she thankfully didn’t terminate me on Rover and effect my account standing and was understanding of the unexpected circumstances and understandably not feeling comfortable staying overnight. I’m new to Rover and she was my first experience and will say inspite of the early termination and lost payment the experience I did have with Emily made it a great. I would recommend if new to Rover setting up contingency plans and or making sure if situations arise unexpected drop in services are ok as alternative to in house so you don’t have to double pay for sitters. In light of it all Emily was very understanding communicated well and bc of how impressed I was with the communication and the 1 day of sitter care I bought her a gift back from my vacation as a thank you for the pictures and constant reassurance Lucy was in good hands. I had to meet up with her to give her some things that she left at the house and was gracious and understanding of the unexpected circumstance and apologized for not completing the contract and feeling comfortable with boarding staying or changing to drop in. Thankfully my sister and friend were able to come by once a day and it eased the extreme stress of not having a sitter and not even anticipating making back up plans but as I stated was a learning curve with utilizing the Rover app. I would use Rover again but just make sure to discuss contingency plans and flexibility in case of unexpected circumstances.. I would also recommend Emily highly she was a great sitter but just make sure to discuss contingency plans for unexpected events or have a back up plan.”

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.

About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means going on runs with high-energy dogs or taking slower walks and giving extra comfort and attention to more relaxed pets. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and so loved while their owners are away. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years and absolutely love them as well. I know every cat is different, and I’m always patient and attentive to their routines and comfort level. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work a 9–5 job during the week, but I have an hour lunch break that gives me flexibility for walks, check-ins, or midday care. I also usually go on a run in the mornings and take walks after work or after dinner, so I’m very used to staying active and would love bringing a dog along if they enjoy extra exercise. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.

About: Along with being a dog owner for most of my life I’ve also shadowed in and helped my local vets office with walking, and taking care of dogs. Hello! I'm currently a full-time college student. My schedule allows me to provide consistent pet care, and I prioritize maintaining each pet's normal routine to keep them comfortable and happy. When caring for pets in a client's home, I like to focus on maintaining their normal routine. I follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, exercise, and medication.

About: I have had pets my whole life! cats, bunnies ,dogs ,mice ,chicken. I love animals and will love yours as I do mine! (which is a lot!!) right now I am a collage student working once a week at the hospital. and classes only Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of free time. for house sitting i have a lovely 5 month old doodle that loves all animals and is available to play if wanted and if not that’s okays to. i love to go on walks to just chill and snuggle anything that your pet needs or likes to do!
