About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

I’m currently working full-time. But, I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. Usually I can do mornings and nights depending on the dog’s needs and client’s preferences. I would understand the pet’s daily needs and requirements that includes feeding time, exercise needs, medication administration. Also ensure their food and water are fresh.

About: I've cared for dogs since childhood and into adulthood, always either having dogs or cats. Most recently I pet sat for a yorkie for 4 days inhouse and boarded various dogs in my home. Have cared for senior pets, accommodating their special needs. Pet free at this moment so available for overnight care and boarding. I'm currently retired and my schedule is open. I can adapt my schedule and routine to your pet's needs, putting them first over my own personal life. After meeting with the pet owners, I devise a plan to make sure your pet's experience closely mirrors what they are familiar with, always making their safety and happiness the main priority.

“I entrusted Katelyn with my 9-year-old English Bulldog and 7-year-old Chocolate Lab for a few days while I was away on a family trip. I was so nervous to leave my babies, and Katelyn was the best sitter I could have asked for. She kept them fed and happy, and sent me several adorable pictures through her stay. My chocolate lab is a rescue and very nervous. My English Bulldog is a grumpy old lady who wants to sleep all day. About: I’ve taken care of friends pets as needed through out the years. I would like a dog of my own, but my work schedule doesn’t accommodate it. I also love getting out of the house to walk. It’s a win-win situation for me and you!! My primary work schedule changes each week so I can be flexible based on the days I don’t work. I have four days off per week. I trust that your dog is well trained so when I enter your home I feel safe. I also would like to know if the safety measures you have in place for your pet.
