About: Pets have always been an important part of my life. I have cats, a dog, and some reptiles. I also foster cats through a local rescue. I'm comfortable giving meds as needed and am well versed in keeping a watchful eye out for health issues. I'm experienced with: dogs, cats, birds (both parrots and poultry), reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, rodents, etc. I'm a stay at home mom with kids aged 8+ (old enough to know how to be gentle with animals!) I am home most the time and have a very flexible schedule. I will follow all care instructions as outlined by you. Happy to provide playtime, reinforcement/practice for your training methods, walks, medications, and lots of love!

“You are an absolute gem and we’re eternally grateful. There is no that could ever surpass you!”
3. Skylar L.
“Skylar was absolutely wonderful with our giant breed (Dane), who is one and can still be a bit rambunctious. She came by in advance to meet us and the dog and understand what we were looking for. I would recommend her and use her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

8. Benjamin T.
“Ben has always been a kind animal lover. As a boy his family always had a pet dog and he helped train and take care of them. There were also pet cats in the family who were loved and well cared for. As a teenager Ben would walk and feed his Pastor's dog when he needed to be away. As an adult after finishing college, he has always had a pet. His rescue dog was very sweet, loved dearly, and lived a good long life. Now his two indoor rescue cats are happy and given excellent care. He recently took in his aunt's dog for several weeks while she moved to another state. Ben is great with cats and dogs.”

17. Sammi L.
“I have known Sammi L for 5 years working as a CNA in a nursing home. She has always been very caring and sensitive to the resident's needs. She is also very resourceful and quick thinking. These traits would serve her well as a dog caregiver because she has a special soft spot for animals, especially dogs. She's very knowledgeable about dogs and has helped me on several occasions with advice for my new puppy. She's very reliable and I would feel 100 percent comfortable with her caring for my beloved dog.”

20. Sioux C.
About: Hi there! My name is Sioux and I’ve been working as a professional pet caregiver for over six years and have had plenty of pets throughout my life. I have worked as a manager of a pet boarding and daycare facility where I learned the ins and outs of taking care of both dogs and cats. I’ve also worked in animal husbandry at both college and an exotic pet center. I currently only have two dogs of my own that are very social and my best boys. I train my border collie in agility and love to work with my dogs on a regular basis. I recently made the decision to leave my pet care management position to go back to college full-time to finish my degree. That being said, I miss caring for clients dogs and cat. I would love the opportunity to help you and meet your furry friends! I am in school and now work part time for the Department of Natural Resources. My schedule varies month to month but feel free to ask me and I can always check availability. I’m open to staying in your home or just stopping by for potty/food breaks whenever necessary. I’m flexible and willing to adjust to what you need. Again, it just depends on my school/work availability.
