“We usually try and schedule our vacations around Taylor's schedule. We have a Rough Coat Collie named Bruce. She is so good with him. He is not just a pet he is a family member and only child (HAHA) When we go out of town we never have to worry about him. She stays at our home where Bruce can have all his comfort creaturs. We come home to a happy dog and I swear a cleaner house. She is so trust worthy and good with animals. I highly recommend her. Book early she is a much sought after pet sitter.”

7. Jenifer D.

“Jennifer did an amazing job watching our 2 beagles and while we were away! I love that she sent sent us pictures every day and she took the time to come over and meet the dogs beforehand and spent plenty of time getting to know them! I will definitely be using Jennifer in the future!”

8. Katelyn W.
“I entrusted Katelyn with my 9-year-old English Bulldog and 7-year-old Chocolate Lab for a few days while I was away on a family trip. I was so nervous to leave my babies, and Katelyn was the best sitter I could have asked for. She kept them fed and happy, and sent me several adorable pictures through her stay. My chocolate lab is a rescue and very nervous. My English Bulldog is a grumpy old lady who wants to sleep all day. Even with their personalities, I could tell they truly felt safe and happy with her care. I would highly recommend Katelyn to anyone looking for a quality sitter for their fur babies.”

9. Bill S.
“I highly recommend Bill as a per sitter! He is a caring person, responsible and patient. He has spent time with our dogs in the past and they are always happy to see him. He's happy to play with them, scratch ears and walk them. Definitely a great person to watch your pet.”

10. Kami S.

“Amazing, very personable. I would recommend to anyone.”

11. Tara R.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

“Thanks so much!!”

13. Allie H.
About: I've worked at a vet clinic for over two years, dealing with all different types of dogs and their needs. I've also had dogs my whole life. I work at a vet clinic full time, and I am now in college so I usually am available on weekends and at night, but that depends on the week. Some weeks, I'm much more available! However, stopping for potty breaks would be easy for me! I would not be able to care for pets in my home since I have two other dogs. However, I am happy to take care of the pets in your home.

14. Kelsey H.
“Kelsey has “dog sat” for our dog many times now and is the best of the best! Our doggo gets so excited when she sees her. She’s very communicative and very attentive to our dog’s needs. She always wears her out, too, which is nice to know she’s getting a lot of exercise while we’re away. Highly recommend!”

15. Elizabeth A.

“Thanks again! Great job as always with Mira! She’s gunna miss you when you’re at college, good luck with your studies!”

16. Laura D.
“Laura always goes above and beyond to make sure that my animals are given the care and attention they need. She is loving and patient, extremely trustworthy, and highly recommended.”

17. Julie E.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I love to walk and play with them and also have snuggle time if they like that. My schedule is flexible to accommodate their needs! I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. I have a fenced yard and am close to a local state park for long walks. I also live in a very walkable subdivision. I don’t mind a well behaved pet on furniture.

18. Shay H.

“Shay is excellent. Her knowledge of dog personalities and behaviors is incredible!”

With me, you can have complete peace of mind knowing your pets are in the best hands. I have two dogs of my own, a corgi 8 years and a lab, pit bull mix 10 years old. We walk daily and are the happiest babies I know. I want to give love to more animals and care for them the way I care for mine. My daily routine is active and flexible, which means your pup gets plenty of walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. I love being outside and staying on a consistent schedule—perfect for keeping dogs happy and cared for! Caring for pets, whether in your own home or a client’s home, involves a combination of regular attention, proper feeding, exercise, grooming, and emotional care. Here’s a breakdown of how I might approach pet care depending on the service I offer: 1. Pet Sitting (In Client’s Home or Own Home) • Feeding: Follow the pet’s regular feeding schedule and adjust based on dietary needs or special instructions from the owner. • Exercise: Ensure that pets get enough physical activity through walks, playtime, or other engaging activities. • Grooming: Brush pets regularly to maintain their coat and avoid matting (especially for long-haired breeds). Bathe them as needed, depending on the breed and the owner’s preferences. • Health & Safety: Monitor the pet’s health for any changes, such as a decrease in appetite, lethargy, or signs of illness. Administer any medications as directed by the owner. • Companionship: Provide attention, playtime, and comfort to ensure the pet doesn’t feel lonely or anxious. This might include cuddling, talking to them, or simply being around. • Cleaning: Ensure the pet’s living environment is clean, including regularly changing litter boxes for cats or cleaning up after dogs. 2. Dog Walking • Exercise: Provide regular walks to ensure that the pet gets the necessary physical and mental stimulation. The duration and intensity of the walk depend on the breed, age, and health of the dog. • Safety: Ensure the dog is safe during walks by using a sturdy leash, avoiding busy traffic areas, and monitoring for any signs of discomfort. • Playtime: If there is time, include some interactive play (e.g., fetch or tug-of-war) during the walk to engage the dog mentally. 3. Pet Boarding (In Your Home) • Comfort: Provide a safe, comfortable space with a designated sleeping area, food, and water station. • Socialization: If appropriate, allow pets to socialize with other animals (especially if they are accustomed to it). • Routine: Keep the pet on a similar routine as they would have at home, with regular meals, walks, and bathroom breaks. 4. General Tips for Pet Care • Communication: Keep the pet owner updated regularly on their pet’s well-being, sharing any observations, concerns, or funny moments. • Emergency Preparedness: Know where the nearest vet is and be prepared for any emergencies, including having a list of the pet’s medical details and contact information. By focusing on the pet’s specific needs and preferences, both physical and emotional, I can ensure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for.
