About: My partner and I have two dogs: a golden retriever and golden retriever/husky! Growing up, my family had three dogs over the years, all of which I have cared for throughout the years, including walks, feeding, grooming, socializing, taking to vet appointments, and brushing teeth! I have watched/walked several of my friends' dogs and spent a winter break in college caring for three golden retrievers while their parents went on vacation! I work remotely and therefore have great flexibility in fitting your pets' needs into my schedule! I am available between New Hampshire, Boston, and the Provincetown area. I will greet your pet on their level when I walk into your home, play and build trust before leashing them up for a walk at whatever desired pace/distance or following your protocols (e.g., letting them outside in your fenced-in area or going for a swim in the summertime). I love to give a healthy amount of treats to reward good behavior and say goodbye as it's important to build trust and leave on a positive note :)

About: My whole life as long as I remember I was the biggest pet lover. I had my own pets and I’ve taken care and walked the dogs of my neighborhood. I just love them. I work part time, which gives me a lot of time to do my favorite thing: pet sitting!!! I work part time and have a lot of time for my favorite hobby which is caring for these lovely creatures. As an overnight visitor, often for pets with anxiety or special needs/senior pets, I am with your pet in your home from 10pm-8am, plus visits during any of their usual scheduled feedings. As a dog walker, you can expect me to arrive and provide a full 30 minute walk to your pet. If you book through rover, you can also get a map of the walk we did, how long it took, and I provide pictures along the way. When it's time to go home, I make sure they and your home are safe and secure.

“Cianna was spectacular, stepping in with very short notice for an extended stay (2 weeks) after some health concerns with one of our dogs made me hesitant to leave him in the kennel for that stretch. She was awesome with the dogs, on top of all their needs and concerns, and was very communicative throughout. The dogs may have been a bit sad to see us come home at the end of the trip as they loved their time with her.”

About: As a child, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As an adult, I have vast experience caring for animals. For 25 years, I did pet sitting and house sitting in the Boston area before moving to Puerto Rico 13 years ago. The first month I lived there, I found a box of kittens in the road. I have been a rescuer since, being one of few who take on the most challenging cases. I have saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats over the years and I have seen it all. Nothing intimidates me or grosses me out. I will give baths, dispense medications, clean up accidents, whatever is needed. I am 58 years old and am very reliable and trustworthy. I am 58 years old and do not work anymore so my availability is wide open. I do sometimes go to Puerto Rico where I am in the process of selling my home but the dates for those trips are flexible. I generally find that caring for pets in their own home is ideal as they really do appreciate routine, stability, and a familiar environment. However, I am certainly willing to care for them in my home as well and offer a fully fenced in back yard for dogs. There is an 11 lb dog at my house but he is used to cats and dogs coming and going so he should not pose a problem (or I can separate them, if preferred). In terms of routine, I am willing to adapt to whatever you have established and have no problem with giving medications, baths, or any other special care needed. With 13 years of rescuing in Puerto Rico and 25 years of pet care before that, I have seen it all (and nothing grosses me out!). If you like frequent updates and photos, no problem. If you like to relax and not think about home when you are away, no problem. Your beloved pets are in safe, loving hands.
