I’ll follow your instructions to a T, keep your pet and home secure, maintain feeding and potty schedules, provide enrichment and exercise. We also have a friendly 5-year-old mini Goldendoodle mix at home, so your dog will always have a companion to play with and feel at ease. We keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so you’ll always have peace of mind while you’re away. What truly sets us apart is the consistency and genuine care. We treat every dog like our own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine, as we’re home most of the time and able to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day. We plan our schedule around their needs, including regular potty breaks, feeding times, playtime, and rest. Our whole family is involved in caring for the dogs. We have a 24-year-old son and a 19-year-old daughter, so there’s almost always someone at home to provide attention, supervision, and companionship. We primarily care for small to medium-sized dogs, allowing us to maintain a calm, safe, and more personalized setting. We take time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs so we can care for them accordingly. We supervise dogs closely throughout the day and never leave them unattended for long periods. Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy companionship, consistency, and a quieter environment. We’re experienced with longer stays, ranging from one week to as long as two months, and we help dogs settle in comfortably as if they’re part of the family. We’re also comfortable caring for senior dogs and administering time-sensitive medication, including an 11-year-old Maltese we regularly care for who requires medication twice daily. We follow all feeding instructions carefully, ensure fresh water is always available, and maintain a consistent schedule for potty breaks, playtime, and rest. If needed, we can separate dogs to keep everyone safe and stress-free. Communication is very important to us, so we provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. Above all, we offer a true home environment with consistent, attentive care—we treat every dog like our own.

About: Hi! I'm Marty! I have been an animal lover my whole life. I enjoy spending time with other people's pets when they go on vacation or they are busy. I'd be honored to walk, play with, love, and/or sit for your furry family members when needed. I live in the area, and I am available when your fur babies need some extra attention, exercise, love, and care while you are away. I'm currently available full time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm open and available for boarding as well. I love being outdoors, and going on walks in nature. I also live in a beautiful complex that is pet friendly with lots of outdoor grassy nature areas, and a big park to walk to and play in just three blocks away from me. I can crate your pet too if needed.

About: I'm a sensitive, caring responsible individual who loves to play with dogs and with whom dogs love to play. I've worked at the Glendale, CA Humane Society Shelter walking dogs and really enjoyed the experience. I've owned dogs for a good part of my life. However, I recently had to put Taffy, my last dog, to sleep. She was 16 and not doing well. It was heart wrenching and I thought perhaps that rather getting another, I could give the love I have for dogs to others, without having the ultimate burden of ownership. I live in Agoura Hills, CA. There lots of room for dogs to walk and play, lots of trees and grass for dogs to sniff and explore. There are also lots of other dogs in the community and opportunities for dogs to socialize, if the owners and the dogs want. I have a fenced yard and I work from home. I have a flexible schedule. Consequently, I can adapt my schedule to your dog's schedule. I have a fenced yard and I have no other dogs. Even though the house is on two levels, it's easy for dogs to navigate.

She's a therapy dog & my medical service dog & she goes everywhere with me but we were going to an airshow & I was worried about her ears so I didn't want to take her. We were camping in Malibu & it was difficult to find someone because everyone was a good distance from here but Courtney was agreeable to come to our RV park. She hadn't been here before & was so great at following directions. My dog loved her, I could see from the photos how happy she was. Courtney walked her & played with her. I couldn't recommend her more highly She kept me updated, communicated well, was on time, and most importantly made my pup so happy. She sent me updates for both visits and a lot of really cute pictures. I'm a sitter here on Rover as well and am very picky but if you're looking for a great dog walker/sitter, look no further...Courtney is absolutely FANTASTIC! I have had two of my own dogs, Sedona, a red dachshund-chihuahua mix, and Buddy, a cream Chihuahua-terrier mix, for the past 12 years, and enjoy them so much! Two cats, Marco and Lucy, also share my home, along with two humans, my partner of 13 years and our teenage son. Our dogs are playful, silly, and love snuggles, and have taught me so much about being a dog mom! Our cat Marco is in his senior years and prefers lounging on our son's bed. Lucy is a two-year-old with a lot of energy, who can often be found playing in her cat tree. I'm passionate about providing the best care to dogs and cats, and yours are no exception - I'll treat your best friends like family. I'm available for dog walks and "drop-ins" in the evenings as well as all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I'm happy to pet-sit as well, and from Friday through Sunday I'll be with your dog or cat full-time in your home. While I do have to work Monday-Thursday, I'm happy to stay with your furry pal in the evenings. I want you to be happy, comfortable, and at ease while you're away, just as I would want to be!
