“We have a dog that is our whole world and we were in need of help boarding our “fur baby” for a trip we couldn’t reschedule, after we removed her from an established boarding facility when our dog suffered a brutal attack by another dog. We were petrified to leave our dog, with anyone ever again, but knew we would have to. So research began, prayers went up and then we came across Rover. After more research on sitters with Rover we came across Elaine’s and Marty’s bio. So we reached out to Elaine and Marty who seemed like a great fit for our needs. Wow! Elaine and Marty respond instantly. They were willing to have us come to their home for a meet and greet with our sweet Kaylee and we talked with them for over an hour and saw where she would stay so we could make sure the environment was safe and appropriate for her. We were still nervous, as this couple were strangers to us, but decided to take the leap to trust that they would care for our girl like she was their own. Let’s just say our dog is spoiled by us, and lacked nothing with them. We especially love that they are clearly animal lovers and that they board one dog at a time. Because we were a late board, in regard to our trip, they were still willing to take her as long as we were ok with a 24 hour overlap with another client’s little, social dog. Ours is super social too and we all (both dog’s owners and, sitter) agreed to this arrangement. When we returned to Elaine’s and Marty’s home to drop off Kaylee, as soon as they opened their door Kaylee pranced right in like she owned the place, tail wagging, and very comfortable to see her new friends again. She was so well taken care of! Elaine and Marty gave us daily updates with pictures and videos which made us so happy and helped us relax while we were away. Elaine and Marty exceeded all of our expectations! They even gave us a framed photo with two pictures of Kaylee as a thank you for letting her stay with them. We couldn’t be more pleased, have already confirmed another booking and have asked about a third. This couple is so gracious, so kind and loving, so trustworthy and thoughtful we couldn’t recommend them more highly! About: I have taken care of my dog since she was 7weeks and she is now 5 about to turn 6 years old, I enjoy taking her on walks and playing with her. I am only working part time right now so I have lots of open time, also my school schedule is easy so I have extra time My household takes very good care of our pets, with healthy food and good sleep. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and already plan my days around caring for my own small dog, Chadwick. I am home most of the day and can provide regular walks, meals, playtime, companionship, and plenty of opportunities to relax. Dogs are typically never left alone for more than about 90 minutes if I attend a yoga class or run a quick errand. I also keep my schedule flexible while hosting a dog so I can follow their usual feeding, medication, walking, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I live alone in a first-floor apartment and take full responsibility for every pet in my care. Because I welcome only one visiting dog at a time, I am able to give them close supervision and personalized attention throughout their stay. My apartment has a balcony with comfortable outdoor seating where the dogs and I can relax together. About: I’ve been a pet owner for 25 years. I use to be a zookeeper for 8 years and have worked with exotic animals for over 10. I have basic training skills and am good with large dogs. I am currently working part time and have most days free and evenings as well. Local neighborhood walks or pick ups would be ideal, but not necessary. I currently do not have any other pets. About: I grew up in Montana for a love of the outdoors and animals. I grew up with 2 cats, a dog, and many aquatic animals. I love taking care of different animals. “We were visiting Las Vegas and needed last‑minute care for our two elderly dogs, and Diane truly went above and beyond. Not only did she welcome both of our girls on short notice, she cared for them for four days during a week of extreme heat — something they wouldn’t have tolerated safely. This was our first time using Rover, and Diane made the entire experience feel easy and reassuring. She was wonderfully communicative from start to finish, sending updates and photos throughout their stay. One of our girls, Sherry, had an upset stomach, and Diane was so attentive and comforting, letting us know she was keeping a close eye on her. Her kindness allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip, knowing our dogs were in safe, loving hands. We are incredibly grateful for her care and hope to use her babysitting services again. “Thank you so much to Renata and her family for looking after our 1 year old Chihuahua-mix named Sydney. We are not used to leaving her since she is so young, so I was very sad and anxious. It was our first time using Rover and any service like this. Reneta kindly offered a free meet-and-greet so Sydney could briefly get to know her house, yard, and pets. While we were on a 4-night vacation, we got tons of updates and pictures from Renata! Renata was kind enough to let Sydney sleep in her bed, and I am sure Sydney sometimes woke her for some late-night potty times. Renata also mentioned Sydney got better at playing and socializing with her own dogs, as well as the dog she cares for during her doggy daycare. I would 100% recommend her, and I certainly intend to use her services again soon! It's so nice to know as a new dog mommy that I can have the freedom to travel and truly know my baby is taken care of. Sydney seems happy too - its as if her eyes ar saying "Wow! I had a great time!"
