About: Dog has always been a big part of my life. I have experiences in potty training, dog walking (small and big), and I love teaching them to do tricks! I'm currently free most of my weekdays as I'm still looking for full-time job. I would like to spend time with some furry friends in between my job search schedule. About: I have been a pet owner and caretaker of many different animals from small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits) to cats and dogs. My family kept fish when I was a small child, but I plunged headfirst into the world of freshwater fishkeeping in 2020 with my first personal betta fish named Prosciutto. Since then, I’ve cared for many different fish, aquatic snails, shrimp, crabs, and live aquatic plants! Currently, I have 4 fish tanks that provide flourishing ecosystems for all kinds of aquatic beings and a gray and white cat named Ash! I have sat for my neighbors, friends, and other folks that have found me through word of mouth. I would say that my loving personality, attention to detail, reliability, and diverse experience of taking care of all kinds of pets set me apart from other sitters. ***To be transparent, I can be anxious around reptiles, bugs, and arachnids. I have raised kittens and currently have an elderly cat and a cat with serious medical issues--I'm very comfortable with special needs fur babies. “Celeste is UH-MAZING. My cat was skittish when I left, but I didn’t realize how bad it was. Turns out there was a DEAD MOUSE/RAT under my couch! I have no idea how it got in and was suitable horrified. Never had anything like that happen before. Celeste found it by following the stench of death. (I know, barf.) She got rid of it and clensed the area. That still left the freaked-out kitty who went days without pooping. Celeste fed her a little canned pumpkin and voila! Pooping commenced. I was out of the country and off-the-charts anxious. Celeste kept me updated, answered my questions in a timely manner, and oozed calm, confidence and professionalism. I knew my cat was safe with her. This woman is a keeper! I’m so impressed. The only reason I don’t sing her praises from the mountaintops is because I don’t want her to be overbooked when I need her again. :0)”

About: I've been a cat owner for most of my life and recently lost my furbaby after 16 years due to thyroid cancer. For her final years, I dutifully managed her medications and special dietary needs to ensure she stayed healthy as long as possible. As such, I have great empathy for older and sick pets and am comfortable administering oral meds or even IV fluids for cats and small dogs. I am a software dev and work from home usually, so I can easily move locations especially for long term pet or house sitting. Happy to accommodate overnight and weekend stays. As mentioned, I cared for a sick cat for several years; I also help take care of a roommate's cat by ensuring he has clean water at all times, playing with him frequently, and feeding him his dinner when my roommate is away. I always have one ear open for keeping track of pets nearby, even when not on the clock. I am a strong communicator and prefer to keep in touch or ask questions rather than let something go misunderstood.
