They also cleaned up a mess he made when he chewed through a shipping box that had cat food in it! In addition they also put out food and water each day for the stray cats in the yard. I’ve been working as an Autism Specialist since I was 19, so patience, intuition, and building strong, trusting connections are truly my superpowers. I like to say I have that special energy humans and dogs both adore! For the past 7 years, I’ve been dog sitting for families in and around my neighborhood, as well as my parents’ neighborhood, caring for their fur babies like they’re my own. I understand how important it is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I live in a spacious 2bedroom apartment with a spare room that gives pups plenty of indoor space to play and relax. Our complex also has lots of grassy areas perfect for fresh air, potty breaks, and nice walks. I provide plenty of supervised playtime, structured walks, potty breaks, and cozy rest time in a safe, calm environment. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer quiet cuddles and relaxation.

About: I took care of my aunt’s dog named Batman for 8 years until my aunt moved away. Ever since I have always enjoyed taking care of animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and chickens! I currently work Sun-Thurs from 1pm to 9:30pm. I don’t have anything that needs my attention before I need to get to work! I am fully free Friday and Saturdays! I have a fenced yard and a dog park down the block. I have an old crate that can be used if needed and no other dogs or cats in the home.

When I moved my dad to California so I could become his full-time caregiver, bringing his dog with us was never a question. He’s an important part of our family and daily life. “I was in a bind because I had to go on a work trip. So this was my first time having Marlene take care of my doggies. I am always reluctant to have new people in my home, taking care of my babies. But, after meeting her both I and my little guys felt comfortable. I returned to find my little guys very happy and well taken care of. While I was gone, she sent pictures each day. The doggies have their own room with a couch and a loveseat and lots of doggy beds and soft blankets. I often fall asleep right in the middle of them :) . They have plenty of toys and love when they stay at Aunt Lisa's!
