About: I've had a dog or a cat (often both) in my life ever since I was 10. I love making new furiends, so I'd love to meet yours! My pup (Bailey) has separation anxiety, so I’m very familiar with supporting special needs, giving medication, and training. We alternate between off-leash fun walks and on-leash training walks, so I can adjust to your dog’s needs. I’m also a big fan of playing, especially if your dog needs to get some energy out. I split my time between volunteering at my local library and walking dogs, so my schedule is flexible. I prefer to walk dogs in the morning or early afternoon. I don't sit at my home, but I love getting updates about my pets when I'm away, so you can expect plenty of pictures and videos of your pets!

“Sarah was a great dog walker for Ollie. He has some bad leash behaviors but Sarah handled it well. She was also very communicative and responsive. Happy to find someone reliable and good with dogs!”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life with experience ranging from hyper puppies to mellow older dogs. I've become the default care taker for any family members pet and love every second of it. My dog and I love going on walks and playing fetch in the backyard, she even sleeps on my bed which is the cutest thing ever. This is why I know how that special attention and physical activity is for a dog. I am capable of brushing and grooming the dog if they are well behaved. I've managed overnight care for a week while in school and making sure the pets were happy and well cared for. I'm reliable, organized and will always treat your dog as my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I have my own vehicle and a flexible part time job. I'm available on weekdays and weekends while always willing to work with your schedule to do what is best for your pets. I make sure that my dog is walked or taken outside every 4 hours. Having explicit instructions on how to care for your pet is appreciated so that I can ensure that the best care is provided. I always check to make sure that gates are closed in the backyard and that whatever environment your dog is in they feel safe and happy.

“Sailor has been walking our 3 dogs for several months in all kinds of weather . They are always on time and take great care of our puppies - ages 5 months and 1.5 years. Highly recommend Sailor!!”

About: Lifelong dog lover skilled with reactive, anxious dogs and puppies—experienced in training, stimulation, and gentle, attentive care. I am a dog mom myself! My Dogs name is Eggy who is a 2 year old rescue with a love of balls and social anxiety. I am currently in graduate school working towards my masters in clinical social work. With this, I have ample time to spend with furry friends. Entering someone’s home is an honor and a privilege, especially when you are in-trusted with the care and safety of a pet. With this I try to respect the expectations of every pet parent and every pet. I work to leave a home as I found it, be mindful of the needs of each pet, and express my gratitude.

“We have been working with Sharene for 10 months now. She regularly comes to walk our one year old pup. Sharene is excellent at communicating changes to her schedule with advanced notice, and she’s accommodating when we need to make last-minute changes. In June of 2024, Sharene stayed at our house for a week while we were away. Our puppy was recovering from surgery, we were worried to leave her, but Sharene took excellent care of her. It was a huge relief to know that Sharene had everything well in hand. I would not hesitate to recommend Sharene for responsible and attentive pet care!”

“Jeremy was incredibly communicative and very responsive to messages I sent! Jeremy sent me very cute pictures of Mater, and let me know the start and end of the walk. Jeremy was very attentive to mater and was very observant about heat sensitivity, and made sure that mater drank water before Jeremy left! The next time I need a dog walker I’m absolutely going to book with them again!”

About: It might sound funny to say I have 26 years of pet care experience, but I’ve truly never known a life without animals. I grew up in a family where dogs and cats were part of the family, not just pets. Over the years, we’ve loved pugs, labs, terrier mixes, a cavapoo with epilepsy, rottweilers, dobermans, a brussels griffon, and an American bulldog. For a time, we even had bearded dragons and rabbits….every animal had a special place in our home! I’ve also had the joy of caring for households with both senior pets and energetic young ones, making sure each one got the attention and care they needed. These days, I live in Northampton with my sweet orange American Shorthair cat, Zora. Caring for animals has always been a part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same care and love to your pets too. I’m currently a PhD candidate, and during the summer months my schedule is much more flexible, as I’ll mainly be focused on researching and writing my dissertation. I’m truly lucky to have the privilege of being adaptable with my time, which allows me to adjust to the needs of each family I work with When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. When I’m visiting a client’s home I create a calm, secure environment where animals can feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routines, preferences, and any special needs they might have from medication schedules to favorite toys. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep communication open with frequent updates, photos, and check-ins. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, so I make it a priority to be as communicative and reassuring as possible, giving you peace of mind while you’re apart. My approach is gentle, patient, and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, and cows. I have been living with and caring for animals for over 15 years, whether it be for walks, day care or house sitting and overnights. I have a lot of experience with shy, timid and traumatized dogs. I have a lot of patience and respect each animal's needs. I have experience with administering medications and using an e-collar. I am currently in a graduate program. I have full availability most weekends and a flexible weekday schedule around classes. Please check with me about my Thurs/Fri availability as those are my heavier class days. I am a respectful, patient caring individual with lots of love and energy for animals. I am comfortable with crate trained animals, as well as those who sleep in the bed. I will make sure that your animal feels safe and comfortable by reading it's body language and communication around what it needs. I can be extremely affectionate and cuddly and respectful of space depending on what each individual needs. I adore and respect every animal's unique way of expressing themselves, whether it be rolling around tail wagging, nervously keeping to their corner or being a bully and vocal when they want something.

“Alexio was reliable, flexible, a good communicator and deeply cares about the well being and good manners of our dog Maisy. He provided mid-day walks M-F for the entire school year. I trust him, have recommended him for friends, and hope he’ll be available when we need him next!”

About: I grew up with a fear of dogs that only ebbed when I was 13, after my family started fostering an older Australian cattle dog mix. She was smart, sweet, and scarily strong. Taking care of her taught me how to stay calm, deescalate her excitement when necessary, and also match her energy and enthusiasm. My fear is gone and now I love to make friends with new dogs! I work 9 to 5 on Monday through Friday— I’m available on weekends, as well as all mornings and evenings outside of my regular job schedule. I also get federal holidays off, so I am generally free on weekdays that fall into that category. I love spending time with animals and am so happy to dole out as much affection as they want! However, I'm also pretty good at reading their body language and realizing when they need space to do their own thing. Every animal has different needs and I pride myself on respecting that!

About: I used to be that kid that was scared of dogs, and then my parents got a yellow Lab puppy when I was six and my life has never been the same! I have been the go-to dog and cat sitter for my friends and family since I was a teenager. In college, I worked in a natural dog and cat food store and learned a lot about animal nutrition and behaviors. I just want to make sure your pets are well taken care of, happy, and loved while you’re away! I’m in Northampton for the my second summer of Smith’s MSW graduate program until August 16. I’m out of class every day by 12:30pm, so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your animals! Unfortunately, I live with two spoiled and beloved cats, so I can’t have other animals at my house. When I’m coming to visit your dog or cat, I want to ensure they feel safe and comfortable with me entering their territory and take great care to make sure they know I’m not a threat.

Brooke P.
“It will be difficult to keep my comments to 25 words. Brooke is my granddaughter and she is a wonderful and caring young lady. Besides being very caring for her grandparents, she has shown to be caring for animals. Brooke has been around animals for all of her life. As an infant my dog would curl up with her when she took her daily naps. During her grammar school and high school years, her family had 2 cats and a dog. She was responsible to help walk, play and feed them. She was the favorite member of the family for their dog to climb into her bed at night. Recently during the past year, Brooke took care of her Aunts dog and cat. When her aunt returned, her only complaint was the pets didn't seem to realize she was gone. Brooke took excellent care of them and kept their normal routines. I believe that animals have the ability to know who to trust. Whenever Brooke is around animals, they come to her and feel safe. Brooke is a responsible and loving pet caregiver and they all love her.”

“Erin did a great job walking Max for us when we had to go away on short notice.”

Amanda D.
“Amanda is a fabulous dog-sitter. She looks after my pups when I'm traveling – once for over a month. She gets them out for exercise, administers meds and handles their finicky eating habits. They both adore her – and they're not easy to please! Great communicator and prompt with texts and photos. I highly recommend her.”

“Laine has pet sit for our cat Lou ever since he was a kitten. Whether we've been gone one night or two weeks, there's no one we trust more with our beloved pet (or in our home!) then Laine. She always adapts to any requests we have, is always available when she says she'll be, is constantly reliable, and sends us photo updates which we love. Besides being a responsible person she's a kind and sweet soul who loves animals and cares for them as if they're her own! I couldn't recommend her enough.”
