About: Caring for animals is my passion! Hi, I'm Caroline! I'm an experienced pet carer who is happy to fill the unique needs of you and your furry family members. I began pet sitting at 10 for family and friends, and grew my network by word of mouth over a number of years, and am now looking to expand this role through Rover. I have experience working at dog boarding and daycare facilities and have worked with and owned several senior animals with complex medical needs, such as blindness, epilepsy/seizures, and hip dysplasia. As a poodle owner, a former german shepherd owner, and having cared for a dog with many skin issues, I also know how important grooming routines are too! I'm happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs. If you are looking for someone who is willing and ready to care for your furry family members, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have! I work remotely as a freelance writer so I have plenty of time to give care and attention to your pups! I am extremely flexible on schedules so I am sure I will be able to meet your needs. I am a stickler for routine and training, so please let me know how to best serve you and your family! I have raised several dogs so I understand how important keeping up with training and maintaining proper food times, walk times, and bed times are, so you can rely on me to meet whatever schedule you have set up.

“Christine was lovely with Bonnie. She spoiled her and I felt very comfortable leaving Bonnie in her care. She has a natural gift with dogs and just loves to be around them. Absolutely happy with Christine”

“I had an excellent experience with Fran as my dog sitter! She provided top-notch care for my dog, Randy, while I was on vacation. Fran's friendly and welcoming approach made Randy feel right at home. I truly appreciated the regular photo updates and communication throughout the day. It gave me peace of mind knowing that Randy was in good hands. I highly recommend Fran as a dog sitter and would give her a 5-star rating without hesitation. Thank you, Fran, for your outstanding service!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Teri, I can only thank the universe that we found her after another sitter canceled on us at the last minute before a big international trip. We had just moved to a new town, didn't know any local sitters, and our dog and cat were both adjusting to a brand new space. We were totally flustered but Teri came that same day for a meet and greet and totally reassured us that all would be fine. This was the first time we ever left our almost 2-year-old black lab, Ziggy, for more than a few hours. Ziggy can be high energy and still has some puppy antics in him and is used to our crazy routines. But he took to Teri immediately and it was obvious she could handle him (probably better than we do!). We feel strongly about only using positive reinforcement and I could tell that she was going to relate to him in a way that I felt really good about. While we were away, Teri was so communicative and sent tons of adorable pics and videos. Our cat, who is incredibly shy and usually hides from other sitters, was out and about, getting pets and treats, and obviously comfortable; meanwhile, Ziggy appeared to be having the time of his life! Teri even dealt with a few quirks of our new house (a mouse, a washing machine on the fritz, a yard with ticks) with ease and good humor. When we were heading home, it dawned on me how unstressed I'd been the whole trip - that was all due to Teri. We came home to a house that looked more beautiful than when we'd left it and two happy, healthy animals who'd been living their best lives. I swear the dog was like, "Oh cool, you're home, where's Teri?" Best Rover experience ever.”

“Nathan did a great job taking care of our dog and two cats while we were away! He’s clearly very comfortable with animals and our pets took to him right away. He also house-sat for us, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, etc. Nathan was very responsive when we were setting up the initial meet and greet and when we checked in while we were away. We felt confident knowing that our pets were in good hands!”

I’m dependable, punctual, and always make sure sure each dog feels safe and has a good time outside! Currently I’m in school with a very flexible schedule. I’m available on weekends, most mornings and evenings, and any time on Thursdays! My schedule might change here and there but I’m pretty flexible- reach out if you need coverage outside of my listed availability! I try to make pets feel as comfortable and cared for as they do with you! I stick to their usual routine—meals, walks, playtime, meds if needed—and give them lots of attention and affection. I have a lot of experience with puppies, senior pups, and everything in between! I also have a lot of experience with cats. I loved them so much I ended up getting a couple of my own :) I am current working on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday's from 7-6. With notice I am able to get out earlier as needed. I am off on Sunday, Mondays and Fridays. If in a close proximity to us, my fiancé can also stop in and give potty breaks while I’m at work I have a lot of experience with dog sitting and handling. I am a fear free certified groomer and specialize in working with nervous and scared pups.

“Sam did a phenomenal job pet sitting for my 2 large dogs. He responded to my short-notice request right away and made arrangements to meet with me ahead of time to meet the dogs, ask questions, and learn about their routines. Sam maintained ongoing communication with me to provide updates on how things were going along with photos. My dogs take time to feel comfortable with new people, and they connected with Sam right away! I am thankful for his care and professionalism, as well as his conscientious approach. Highly recommend and will absolutely use again!”

About: I grew up in a home with many dogs & cats. At one point we had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 7 Guinea pigs, 3 rabbits & a 150 gallon fish tank full of koi fish. As an adult I have also had a house full of pets. Presently, we have 2 dogs, 1 cat & 1 Axolotl. My pets tend to live long healthy lives, my last 2 cats passed at the ages of 22 & 19 years of age. I am a retired nurse who would enjoy filling my time with fur-friends. I am presently retired & free most days of the week. I love animals and have 2 dogs of my own. I love caring for & playing with animals. I walk my 2 dogs daily on their tandem leash. However I also have a large fenced in yard that they meander about at their Leisure. I will care for your animals as if they were my own & provide them with the care they need.
