“I cannot say enough good things about Teri, I can only thank the universe that we found her after another sitter canceled on us at the last minute before a big international trip. We had just moved to a new town, didn't know any local sitters, and our dog and cat were both adjusting to a brand new space. We were totally flustered but Teri came that same day for a meet and greet and totally reassured us that all would be fine. This was the first time we ever left our almost 2-year-old black lab, Ziggy, for more than a few hours. Ziggy can be high energy and still has some puppy antics in him and is used to our crazy routines. But he took to Teri immediately and it was obvious she could handle him (probably better than we do!). We feel strongly about only using positive reinforcement and I could tell that she was going to relate to him in a way that I felt really good about. While we were away, Teri was so communicative and sent tons of adorable pics and videos. Our cat, who is incredibly shy and usually hides from other sitters, was out and about, getting pets and treats, and obviously comfortable; meanwhile, Ziggy appeared to be having the time of his life! Teri even dealt with a few quirks of our new house (a mouse, a washing machine on the fritz, a yard with ticks) with ease and good humor. When we were heading home, it dawned on me how unstressed I'd been the whole trip - that was all due to Teri. We came home to a house that looked more beautiful than when we'd left it and two happy, healthy animals who'd been living their best lives. I swear the dog was like, "Oh cool, you're home, where's Teri?" Best Rover experience ever.”

About: Hi! My name is Allie. My fiance and I recently returned home to Massachusetts after living in North Carolina for two years. I am a professional dog groomer in Lexington. I have been working in the pet care industry for over 10 years (kennel/daycare, grooming, etc) and have had dogs my whole life. I have a lot of experience with puppies, senior pups, and everything in between! I also have a lot of experience with cats. I would watch my best friends cats while she was on vacation from high school age and on. I loved them so much I ended up getting a couple of my own :) I am current working on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday's from 7-6. With notice I am able to get out earlier as needed. I am off on Sunday, Mondays and Fridays. If in a close proximity to us, my fiancé can also stop in and give potty breaks while I’m at work I have a lot of experience with dog sitting and handling. I am a fear free certified groomer and specialize in working with nervous and scared pups.

About: I grew up in a home with many dogs & cats. At one point we had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 7 Guinea pigs, 3 rabbits & a 150 gallon fish tank full of koi fish. As an adult I have also had a house full of pets. Presently, we have 2 dogs, 1 cat & 1 Axolotl. My pets tend to live long healthy lives, my last 2 cats passed at the ages of 22 & 19 years of age. I am a retired nurse who would enjoy filling my time with fur-friends. I am presently retired & free most days of the week. I love animals and have 2 dogs of my own. I love caring for & playing with animals. I walk my 2 dogs daily on their tandem leash. However I also have a large fenced in yard that they meander about at their Leisure.
