4. Phoebe M.
About: I’ve always loved being around and taking care of animals. Growing up, my family always had a cat and after moving when I was 12, we finally got a dog of our own. In addition to my pets, I’ve watched, fed, and walked dogs for extended family, neighbors, friends, and coworkers. I’m familiar with the slower paces and side effects of arthritis in older dogs as well as the boisterous energy of puppies. I’ve also cared for a number of cats and kittens and their wide range of personalities—from my clingy-but-only-cuddly-on-her-terms tabby, to the friendliest barn cat you’ll ever meet, or patiently befriending the quietest and shyest of shelter kitties. I’ve also cared for parrots, fish, hamsters, and horses, and know no animal is too big or too small to be a friend. I’m currently working part time as a stagehand for smaller live event venues around New England as well as being a part time student at MassArt studying graphic design. While hours for stagehand gigs vary, I generally have the afternoons and evenings available. I’m a tidy and quiet person who generally abides by the “leave no trace” rule, meaning my goal is not to leave any remnants of any messes I or any pets may have made during my time at a client’s house.

5. Connor F.
“Connor is so great with our dogs. He loves to take them for walks and play with them to get all of their energy. They always love it when Connor comes to hangout!”

6. Megan R.

“Megan was so great with my large pup who has been anxious while her dad is away. I last minute needed help and Megan went out of her way to fit me into her schedule. Megan was communicative and detailed in her reports on walks. She was also on time and spent the entire 30 min+ with our pup. Would definitely book again.”

7. Dillon D.
“Dillon is experienced in pilling and administering liquid medication to our very difficult cats. Also does feeding, litter cleaning, and entertaining of our 3 cats. He’s is gentle and able to interact on personal, very kind level with animals.”

8. Andrea G.
“Andrea is hands down the best with my fur babies. Andrea treats my dogs like her own. She is caring, loving and very responsible. Not only do my dogs get so much love from Andrea, but she has taken them to Newport to help them socialize with other animals and people. I cannot recommend her enough! She is truly amazing with animals.”

About: I have had dogs in my house since I was 9 years old, and even before that I would ask my neighbors to watch theirs! I consistently have dog-sat for other families while having my own dog as well! I am a dog lover for life, and I want to be able to give your furry friends a comforting environment while you are away! Whatever their needs may be: walking, hiking, cuddling, etc! I am home for the summer, and my schedule is very flexible! I love to stay active so incorporating dog walking into my daily routine is easy! I am extremely responsible and caring for a pet in their own environment is extremely familiar to me! I believe that dogs are family, and they deserve the best care possible.

About: Hi! :) I would love to assist in caring for your sweet companion. I have not lived life on this earth yet without pets. I currently have two dogs, a corgi and a chihuahua both around the age of five. Growing up my household contained 6 dogs and 3 cats all of which I’ve been responsible for caring for at one point or another. From chihuahuas to pit bulls to kittens I have experience with them all. Furthermore, in college I fostered puppies for a few months. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, and bathing pets along with anything else you may request for your furry friend! :) I moved to Newport from NYC and while I am looking for a job currently I thought this would be a great way to fill my time. I have full availability. I live in Newport with my partner, two dogs, and a cat. My partner is gone most days as he works at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, our backyard while it doesn’t have grass it is fenced and we tend to leave the back door open so they’re free to roam in and out! I keep a playful and relaxed environment.

18. Cecelia P.
About: I have grown up with dogs in my household and have always taken a special love for them. My family often relies on me for taking care of my two dogs- including walking, feeding, playing, and hanging out with. I’d love to give your dogs the same amount of love I give my own dogs. I am currently unemployed as I am beginning Physician Assistant school in September. I am using the next 5 months to relax and do enjoyable work, like dog caring. Due to this situation, I am available most days! I have two dogs of my own that I walk and play with everyday. We go on at least a three mile walk daily, sometimes going to the beach and sometimes walking in my nearby neighborhoods.
