“Another wonderful stay at Debby’s! Our 1.5 year old poodle (Mookie) just returned from his second Rover stay with Debby. I enjoyed perfect peace of mind during my family’s 4 day trip thanks to all the updates, photos, and videos that she sends each day. I could see that he was eating, playing energetically with the other dogs (in her grassy fenced-in yard), napping on the cool floor on a hot day (just like he does at home), and cuddling up on the couch with Debby in the evenings. At pick up and drop off, it is clear that Mookie adores Debby, and that they have their own special connection. Debby’s genuine affection for her clients gives both Mookie and me a sense of peace and comfort while we are apart!”

Even though my dogs are super friendly w humans, one of them is difficult with other dogs and requires eye drops 3x a day. He was patient with her and watched her carefully and slowly introduced her to the other doggie guests. By the end of the 2 day stay sprinkles wa out roaming the yard with the others having fun. I got photos and updates and felt very comfortable having them in David's care. Would book again without hesitation.”

After dropping off my dog I asked if she could possibly trim his nails. I had made a grooming appointment but it wasn't for another 2 weeks, and my dog was slipping on hard wood floors. She happily offer to see if her groomer could squeeze him in for a quick nail trim. She was able to and I paid a small fee to the groomer. I plan to bring Charlie back for any future trips. A+ experience!”

She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. About: I’ve cared for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, mice and birds. Horses and dogs are my favorites! I’ve had a dog (or 3) of my own until recently when my 17 year old Yorkie passed away. I’d love to care for your pet now. I am out of the house for a stretch of 4-6 hours for 4-5 days a week, usually in the morning. But otherwise my schedule is fairly flexible. I can walk your dog or put them on a line. I do not have a fenced yard. In general, I don’t mind dogs on my furniture. I can crate them if needed.

About: Hi, I'm a Wildlife Conservation, Animal Behavior and Biology undergrad that LOVES being outside! I have grown up alongside animals my entire life, and I know how to recognize behavioral signs before the reactions occur. I have experience with all ages and breeds of dogs, cats, barnyard friends, and exotic reptiles/birds/mammals etc... I am very seasoned in the patience department, and I love making fun puzzles with treats or toys. I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). I am also able to take pups out on field trips to the beach and hikes :) I live by the fact that all animals deserve the upmost respect, love, and support. I have dedicated my life to conserve the animals that populate the Earth and the habitat they depend on. I look forward to the next adventure with you and your pet! I am incredibly flexible with my travel radius and scheduling, reach out with any questions! I am a full-time student at URI and have senior-intensive classes during the week. About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible with times. I will put my dogs' needs first, however, making sure I have time to give them the exercise and attention they deserve. My dogs are my best friends. I always show love and respect towards them. I also understand how a dog's life can be boring sometimes. Giving them a new environment to sniff out creates a happy and exhausted pup. I try to take my older dog on a new walk/hike every week to give them an adventure and something to look forward to. I'm hoping to provide the same for your dogs. I am also a runner, so I wouldn't mind running alongside your dog. Walking/hiking/running, whatever you prefer.
About: I have worked as a Kennel Attendant taking care of multiple dogs at a time while also caring for my own dogs and taking care of family pets and or friends pets. Whether it be feelings, taking on walks, talking outside for the bathroom, bathing and spending time with our furry friends. “Another wonderful stay at Debby’s! Our 1.5 year old poodle (Mookie) just returned from his second Rover stay with Debby. I enjoyed perfect peace of mind during my family’s 4 day trip thanks to all the updates, photos, and videos that she sends each day. I could see that he was eating, playing energetically with the other dogs (in her grassy fenced-in yard), napping on the cool floor on a hot day (just like he does at home), and cuddling up on the couch with Debby in the evenings. At pick up and drop off, it is clear that Mookie adores Debby, and that they have their own special connection. Debby’s genuine affection for her clients gives both Mookie and me a sense of peace and comfort while we are apart!”
“David was great with my 2 doodles. He was able to accomodate a last min say for both of them. Even though my dogs are super friendly w humans, one of them is difficult with other dogs and requires eye drops 3x a day. He was patient with her and watched her carefully and slowly introduced her to the other doggie guests. By the end of the 2 day stay sprinkles wa out roaming the yard with the others having fun. I got photos and updates and felt very comfortable having them in David's care. Would book again without hesitation.”
