About: I have always loved dogs and cats but since my dad was asthmatic we never had them growing up. To fulfill this love of animals I have been dog-sitting and walking for friends and neighbors since I was 12 years old. I absolutely love getting to spend time with these furry friends and helping people out as well. I would love to get a dog/cat soon but also recognize how large of a responsibility it is so for now I just pet-sit. I am currently a senior at URI and have designed my schedule to have Thursday-Sunday off. Which means those days I can care for pets 24/7. I have a large yard for your pet to explore and three supportive roommates to give them extra walks and cuddles. I have space in my room and house for a crate and any other large supplies. My house is also within walking distance to multiple parks and the beach so your pet will never get bored!

About: BOOKING FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2024!! 📍Bonnet Shores (Narragansett), RI My partner Matt and I work together to care for your pup! We both deeply love animals and would have a dog of our own if it weren’t for Rover! Matt works remotely from home and my schedule is very part-time so Fido will never be left alone. We really enjoy watching other people’s dogs and you can trust us to keep them safe. As a bonus, I have experience working as a veterinary technician and medical training in caring for cats and dogs. Matt and myself love bringing Fido on a hike, to the beach, or for nice strolls down to the water access point in our neighborhood, whichever they prefer. We have a fenced in backyard and always make sure the health and safety of the pet I am watching is my top priority. Keeping an close-eye on behaviors or symptoms that the average person may not notice is a strength of mine. If I am watching your pet you should know that I intend on becoming good friends with them and making sure they feel comfortable & loved while you’re gone. They will be welcome to sleep with us in our bed. I do not book more than two pets at once, so your pet will have Matt and I’s undivided attention.

15. Caitlin L.
About: Hi! My name is Caitlin, I own a coonhound beagle mix! My dog gets several of his own walks a day and I have a lot of experience through him. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins and dog walking for several of my neighbors dogs before and am looking to expand a bit this Spring during my final semester of college while I have a very light course load! When house sitting I can feed the dogs, let them out, give them walks, water plants or any other requests. I will be very available this Spring as I will only be enrolled in 3 credits to finish my degree. I will be available the end of January - mid May and am looking for a part time job! I am available on weekends with advanced notice. I like to get clear instructions from the owner on the dogs normal routine to make sure they are comfortable and treated to their normal schedule. I love giving them lots of pets, attention and walks!

About: I am studying health sciences because of my care for people, pets, and all other living things. This sets me apart because I will put your pets need ahead of my own. I am currently waitressing part time and attending the University of Rhode Island but my schedule is pretty flexible. I am unavailable on Saturday nights and Sunday nights as I will be working. I have a cavapoo puppy. I groom her, feed her, walk her, bathe her, etc. I have had plenty of dog experience beforehand with my grandmothers and friends pets.
19. Tallyn S.
“I have used Tallyn many times as a dog sitter in my home. Like many folks - I feel like my dog is my child. I worry about him when I am away - thinking that no one can take of a 12 pound dog like I can. Tallyn can. I have found her to be a true animal lover. A wonderful "friend" to my dog and a great and responsible substitute mom. She communicates well and I trust her in all ways - in my home and in taking care of my dog. There are very few that I am that trusting with. I would never hesitate to rerecommend Tallyn to those seeking help with pets. ”
