She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was very young. I watched my own dog and her siblings as well as neighbors or friends dogs many times. My dog Maggie actually passed away last year so I have plenty experience with senior dog care and puppies as well. Maggie was a medium-large dog and was 14 when she passed we loved her and made her as comfortable as possible until the end. I've also watched friends and neighbors cats as well so I have experience with both pets! I have class most mornings at 8am so i'm up early and I finish class early! I'm available monday, wed, friday at 1 pm and my Sundays and Tuesdays are free so i'm available all day!!! I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space within the home and a good location for frequent walks! I can crate dogs if needed in your home or stay/watch them while outside, whatever needed.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. Whether you need early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or overnight care, I’m happy to work with your routine and create a plan that works best for you and your furry family. About: Hi, I'm a Wildlife Conservation, Animal Behavior and Biology undergrad that LOVES being outside! I have grown up alongside animals my entire life, and I know how to recognize behavioral signs before the reactions occur. I have experience with all ages and breeds of dogs, cats, barnyard friends, and exotic reptiles/birds/mammals etc... I am very seasoned in the patience department, and I love making fun puzzles with treats or toys. I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). I am also able to take pups out on field trips to the beach and hikes :) I live by the fact that all animals deserve the upmost respect, love, and support. I have dedicated my life to conserve the animals that populate the Earth and the habitat they depend on. I look forward to the next adventure with you and your pet! I am incredibly flexible with my travel radius and scheduling, reach out with any questions! I am a full-time student at URI and have senior-intensive classes during the week. “Dana was amazing. I had only had my dog for a month and I needed to find a sitter for a week. The meet and greet with Dana went so well I didn't even bother meeting the other sitters. Her home is like paradise for dogs! She has several dogs of her own and also fosters dogs. She has a fenced in yard and a cozy living room, where the dogs can roam freely. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was very young. I watched my own dog and her siblings as well as neighbors or friends dogs many times. My dog Maggie actually passed away last year so I have plenty experience with senior dog care and puppies as well. Maggie was a medium-large dog and was 14 when she passed we loved her and made her as comfortable as possible until the end. I've also watched friends and neighbors cats as well so I have experience with both pets! I have class most mornings at 8am so i'm up early and I finish class early! I'm available monday, wed, friday at 1 pm and my Sundays and Tuesdays are free so i'm available all day!!! I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space within the home and a good location for frequent walks! I can crate dogs if needed in your home or stay/watch them while outside, whatever needed.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. Basic walks and play, feeding, medicine distribution, and anything else you need. I myself am active so playing isn't an issue or even giving baths.
