About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.

About: I have volunteered for years at an animal shelter with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I took multiple training courses at the shelter to be able to work with dogs that may need more care and attention, as well as for those that may be more reactive. I have also owned dogs my entire life and have been tasked numerous times with walking/watching people's dogs! I work remotely so I am able to watch your pet anytime throughout the day, and I am able to walk them anytime as I have more flexibility! I also finish work at 3pm so I am completely open after that time. I am experienced with working with dogs of all temperaments, as well as experienced and trained with walking dogs around other dogs, including more reactive dogs.

About: I have always loved taking care of animals. I often take care of families pets when needed. I have also taken care of friends pets. I go to school at the University of Rhode Island. I have time in between my classes to make some extra cash and I have always loved looking after dogs and cats I take care of my aunts dog the most. Take him out for walks and to use the potty. Feed him. And obviously making sure he is the happiest puppy in town.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. I was a preschool special education teacher in Providence for 16 years before I became a stay at home mom. My kids are teens now, so have some time to devote to pet care. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I help my parents out as well. I have plenty of time to pop in for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, playing and giving lots of LOVE to your pet! I will follow your directions "down to a T." I will give your pets lots of love and keep them safe while you are away! I am super trustworthy, dependable, kind and patient.

About: Hi my name is Dee and I am your local pet sitter and dog walker! I am friendly, confident, and knowledgeable when it comes to animals. I am very comfortable working with most species domestic and exotic. - I have previously worked for a local animal hospital and now I work at an animal shelter. I am familiar and pretty hands on with basic pet care. I have been trained to handle skittish or difficult dogs and cats. I can administer medicines via oral or injection, and perform pedicures/baths etc. I am also animal CPR and first AID certified as of 2020. I was a dog groomer in Florida for two years before moving back to my home state, Rhode Island. Because of COVID - 19 I am taking precautionary measures and will wear a mask if needed. - Things you can expect while your fur baby’s are in my care, walks around the neighborhood or to local trails. (If okay with owner) Backyard play time. Naps, snacks, and lots of love! - I put the animals first and can always guarantee the owners wishes. I am a trustworthy individual who will take the time out of my day to gladly help you out with your fur babies. - I do house visits, or I can stay for the night. If you need assistance with pick ups or drop offs, I offer those services upon request. Send me a request, and I am sure to make things happen! I am available Wednesday’s and Thursday’s all day. Friday - Sunday’s 5pm and after. I can work with you on times I would just need to know a schedule a day or two in advance. I can try to fit in same day requests, but I do work and cannot always guarantee same day appointments. I’d care for your pet like they were my own! With love affection and patience. I understand every pet is different and they all require different care. Whether it’s walks, just hanging out with them at home, playing in the yard or cleaning up after them.

About: I grew up as a dog owner, so I'm usually taking care of puppies on their first needs and training, cats overnights care and administering medication if necessary. I moved here from Boston. I work 15 minutes away from home and It allows me to stop in the middle of the day to take the dogs out. I live close to 1 park within walking distance 2 parks within less than 5 miles away. At home, I can provide grooming, a lot of love and a good time.

About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible with times. I will put my dogs' needs first, however, making sure I have time to give them the exercise and attention they deserve. My dogs are my best friends. I always show love and respect towards them. I also understand how a dog's life can be boring sometimes. Giving them a new environment to sniff out creates a happy and exhausted pup. I try to take my older dog on a new walk/hike every week to give them an adventure and something to look forward to. I'm hoping to provide the same for your dogs. I am also a runner, so I wouldn't mind running alongside your dog. Walking/hiking/running, whatever you prefer.
