“We felt very comfortable leaving our dog Harper with Christina and Matt when we were away for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It was the first time Harper had ever stayed with anyone other than family and we weren’t sure how she would be in an unfamiliar place with another dog. It was obvious when we went for a meet and greet that Christina is a dog lover and Harper warmed up to her quickly. They have a great dog friendly yard and we received plenty of updates to let us know that she was doing fine. She definitely got plenty of exercise and a lot of love. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. I was a preschool special education teacher in Providence for 16 years before I became a stay at home mom. My kids are teens now, so have some time to devote to pet care. “We felt very comfortable leaving our dog Harper with Christina and Matt when we were away for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It was the first time Harper had ever stayed with anyone other than family and we weren’t sure how she would be in an unfamiliar place with another dog. It was obvious when we went for a meet and greet that Christina is a dog lover and Harper warmed up to her quickly. They have a great dog friendly yard and we received plenty of updates to let us know that she was doing fine. She definitely got plenty of exercise and a lot of love. Christina was understanding about Harper’s separation anxiety and was willing to accommodate her. We will definitely be repeat clients!”

“Jackie did a superb job hosting my dog for the past week! My dog was not well socialized when he was a puppy and does not always do well with new people and surroundings. However, he warmed up to Jackie and her family immediately, and had a great stay. I received messages with pictures of Willis 3 or 4 times daily. He was so happy, clearly enjoying all the attention and love he was given. I highly recommend Jackie for private boarding of your dog. I hope that she will be available the next time the next time I need a place for Willis to stay.”
