About: Growing up, my family always had dogs. From a young age, I've taken care of both large dogs and small dogs. I lost my original Rover account but had several years taking care of dogs in my hometown in the midwest. I recently lost a dog of my own to cancer so I would be thrilled to take care of your dog and give them all the love and attention they deserve! I currently work remotely so I have a flexible schedule to take care of your dogs! I am also available on weekends except for Saturday afternoons. I won't be offering services in my home. My apartment is very small, although dog friendly, but I would prefer to not keep dogs in my apartment at this time.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life, so this has always just been second nature to me. I started dog sitting around 16 and have been doing it for about 6 years now. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their dogs over the years and I genuinely love every dog I meet. I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I work full-time during the day, but my parents are home and can let your pup out, so they won’t be stuck inside all day. I’m fully available before 9am and after 6pm on weekdays, and completely free on weekends. Your dog will always have someone around. Your dog will be staying in a family home where they’re treated like one of our own. We already have a yellow lab who is super friendly and loves having other dogs around, so your pup will have a built-in buddy. My parents are home throughout the day to check in, let them out, and give them attention while I’m at work.

Lauren was absolutely fantastic! She watched our 4-year-old Rottweiler, Brutus, and our 8-year-old Black Lab mix, Knox, for eight days while we were out of the country, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the very beginning, Lauren was great with communication and took the time to do a meet-and-greet before our trip. She was immediately comfortable with our large dogs, which gave us a lot of confidence. She also asked really thoughtful and proactive questions about their care, including which vet we use and other important details. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure she understood our dogs and their needs. While we were away, Lauren sent regular updates and pictures. She found the perfect balance, enough updates that we knew the dogs were happy and doing well, without so many that we felt overwhelmed. It gave us so much peace of mind being able to see that Brutus and Knox were comfortable and well cared for. She was also extremely respectful of our home and left everything in great shape. Overall, Lauren was responsible, caring, communicative, trustworthy, and clearly loves animals. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone, especially anyone with larger dogs!
