I currently have a part-time job, and I work 4 hour shifts. So that gives me a lot of flexibility to schedule dog walks or pet play time. Below is a general idea of my availability for walks and play time each week, and I’m also available for overnight pet/house sitting when needed. Mondays: 7am-3pm. Tuesdays: 2:30pm-8pm. Wednesdays: 2:30pm-8pm. Thursdays: 1:30pm-8pm. Fridays: 7am-8pm. Saturdays: 7am-11am & 6pm-8pm. Sundays: 7am-8pm.

I intentionally over-communicate and ask clients follow-up questions for clarification if there’s ever any confusion. I also give updates and send photos proactively to clients for their peace of mind. I will care for your pets in your home by taking them on walks, feeding them meals and treats, keeping them hydrated with plenty of water, playing with any toys they like, cuddling, and staying with them overnight if requested. I just want to make sure they are healthy and happy, and give them the love, care, and attention they need.

A typical day
We’ll play with their favorite toys and go on walks on sidewalks near your home or we can go explore a local park. I’ll feed them their standard meals if needed, and always keep them hydrated. We’ll enjoy lots of cuddle time, and I’ll be sleeping right next to them all night if an overnight stay is requested.

Pet care experience
I grew up with our family dog Charlie (a Beagle/Spaniel/Terrier mix). My family adopted him when he was 3 years old (I was around 8 years old), and we grew up alongside each other until he passed away at the age of 12. In 2019, I dogsat my cousin's 2 dogs (both were hound mixes) while she was out of town for a weekend. In 2020, I adopted a 2 year old Beagle named Daisy Mae, who was my beloved fur baby and the center of my universe. It was such a blessing to be her mom. The two of us lived very happily together from September 2020 until she passed away in April 2025 due to the rapid progression of a medical condition she was born with. I'm still grieving her passing, and I’m not personally ready to adopt yet, but I love dogs, and it was hard not having many fur babies around me before I joined Rover in May 2026 (except for some friends with dogs). I’m walking and staying with dogs so I can enjoy more time around furry friends. Since I began taking care of dogs on Rover, I have stayed with anywhere from 1-3 dog siblings together at one time, and have no problem handling multiple dogs. Unfortunately, I found out recently that I’m allergic to cats, so I’m only able to stay with dogs.

Meet and greet went very well and I came home to two happy, healthy dogs. Megan asked all the right questions and apparently did all the right things requested. Highly recommend!
Megan was absolutely fantastic! I went on a long vacation with my family and I always hate to leave my dogs. They're both getting older and don't like going to other homes or to boarding for overnights. Megan came to our house and made sure both of my babies were happy and healthy for the duration. She also made sure to communicate with me and send pictures of their backyard adventures. I'll definitely book again and I highly recommend her!
Megan was fantastic! She was flexible when care needed to be adjusted part way through the visit and provide excellent communication throughout her time with Karma and Kirk.
Megan is a very caring & trustworthy pet caregiver. When she pet sat for our 2 dogs she loved & cared for them as if they were her own. Which is huge as I know how much she adored her own little girl. I also felt 100% comfortable having her stay in our home. I highly recommend Megan.
