About: I grew up taking care of several cats, and as a mom I helped my 4 daughters raise and train for obedience 3 dogs. Recently, I worked for 3 years at a (small animal & equestrian) veterinarian clinic in the front office. I take care of walking,feeding, and loving on my neighbors’ pets on a regular basis. My own Labrador, Nico, passed in December 2025. Boarding other pets give me the opportunity to still feel the joy of having a pet around. My day job is somewhat flexible on start and end times, most afternoons I work from home and I can fit in breaks when neeeded I will adapt to your pet’s personality and level of desire for interaction. Lauren was absolutely fantastic! She watched our 4-year-old Rottweiler, Brutus, and our 8-year-old Black Lab mix, Knox, for eight days while we were out of the country, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the very beginning, Lauren was great with communication and took the time to do a meet-and-greet before our trip. She was immediately comfortable with our large dogs, which gave us a lot of confidence. She also asked really thoughtful and proactive questions about their care, including which vet we use and other important details. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure she understood our dogs and their needs. While we were away, Lauren sent regular updates and pictures. She found the perfect balance, enough updates that we knew the dogs were happy and doing well, without so many that we felt overwhelmed. It gave us so much peace of mind being able to see that Brutus and Knox were comfortable and well cared for. She was also extremely respectful of our home and left everything in great shape. Overall, Lauren was responsible, caring, communicative, trustworthy, and clearly loves animals. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone, especially anyone with larger dogs!
