About: Your pet has a safe and loving friend while you're away! I grew up with 2 adorable Bichons and have been in love with dogs ever since. I'm the first person my friends and family reach out to when they are looking for a pet sitter because they know that I genuinely care for all animals. I've lived with and cared for multiple foster pups which taught me the importance of a calm-assertive energy and patience when training and caring for dogs. I recently adopted my own high energy dog and am trying to convince my boyfriend she needs a sibling ... obviously! I make sure that your pet's distinct needs are met and strive to make sure they are comfortable and happy. If you have any questions or would like to meet me before trusting me with your loved one, feel free to reach out to me. Please also provide your drop off/pick up times in your request. About: I’ve grown up with cats and I have one myself. I live in Russian Hill and work from home and I’m able to stop by whenever and wherever for a quick visit or overnight stay. I prefer to meet briefly over video before the day arrives. I work from home Monday through Friday at 8 AM to 4 PM but I can also stop in for lunchtime if you are nearby Russian Hill. If you’d like me to come for a longer stay, then I can bring my laptop and work from your apartment so that your pet has some company for a longer period of time. I love pets and I can provide lots of flexibility to you when it comes to cancellation and last-minute bookings. I am so appreciative glad you are willing to trust me and taking care of your little loved ones. I promise that I will treat them as if they were my own. I could not live my life without pets- the mutual love and support they provide and supported me my whole life. I am so happy to find this service where I can conveniently check in on loved pets easily with my flexible schedule. I’m typically open to saying a bit longer than the allotted time if able. About: Grew up with dogs of various ages and breeds, including a boxer, rottweiler, doberman, and jack russell terrier. Most recently lost our buddy, Morton, our salt & pepper miniature schnauzer of 15 years. Our toddler also loves all kinds of animals, especially dogs. He is very gentle and mellow, and would love to have another dog around to take on walks and play with. There will always be 1 or 2 adults working from home to be with and walk the dog. Any pet in our care would never be alone! We also live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood and have many green spaces and parks nearby. As long-time owners of dogs of various ages from puppy to senior, we understand the needs of pets. Our most recent pup, Morton, was 15 years old when he passed, but required a special diet and care for several years before the end of his life. We only watch one dog at a time to make sure your pup receives our full attention and care. While our toddler loves dogs and pets, it is also important that any pet in our care is comfortable with young children. If you are unsure how your dog will behave around young kids, please consider other sitters. We do not want to risk the safety of our child or the comfort of your pet. Our apartment is best suited for dogs 30lbs and under. Please help us ensure your pet has the best stay by bringing their preferred bed, water bowl, toy(s), treats, food, and whatever else your pet needs to be comfortable in it's home away from home.
“Gaby was so great! She spent extra time with Mushu to get him acclimated and I really appreciated that given how antsy Mushu can get. She took Mushu out on many potty breaks and let him roam around which I know Mushu really enjoyed. She kept me updated throughout the day and was respectful of my time. Her communication was great. Marina loves dogs and takes great care of Alfie, my Old English Sheepdog. She’ll post several photos of walks around Potrero Hill and her home through out the day and is always responsive. He is always around a good set of dogs and he looks happy and tired when I pick him up.
Hannah did such a great job with our 10mo mini goldendoodle, Lincoln. She is incredibly responsive and would give us detailed daily write ups + pictures on how their day went together. Lincoln was always so excited to see her each morning for daycare. By the end, Lincoln and her sweet dog Billy were basically siblings. She also did a great job reinforcing commands and things we were working on with him as he is still learning. He would always come home happy and well exercised. This was our first time using rover and the quality of care Hannah provided really exceeded my expectations. Thank you Hannah, Lincoln will miss you!
Charles accommodated Simba at the very last minute when we were visiting for the week. He was able to take care of Simba for a few hours while we went to grab dinner at a not so pet friendly establishment. Charles’ communication was prompt and very professional. Simba was happy to see him and ready to go inside with Charles as soon as they met which was very comforting for me.
Lauren was quick to respond to my last minute request to watch my puppy as I had to go into work. I’m very protective over her, and Lauren truly made me feel so comfortable! She provided updates throughout her stay & I could tell Penny was in great care. Her Frenchie Penelope is also adorable. Will be using Lauren in the future!
