About: I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, horses and more. I have had my own family dogs over the years, Trooper for 16 years and Rusty for 14 years. I have cared for friend's dogs, big and small, and my grand dogs for a day or even 1 month. I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. I will do my best to maintain their schedules as well as training and discipline. I will treat them as my own with lots of love and affection, knowing they may miss their parents. I work from home so fitting pet care into my schedule is not an issue. I walked my own dogs every morning in the neighborhood or to the beach. Afternoon neighborhood walks or romps in the big backyard are often on the agenda. I have a single family, single story home with a fenced yard in a great neighborhood. About: I have two crazy dogs at home that I miss dearly. No dog is too much to handle. I am used to anxiety prone dogs and high energy. I am a student athlete at Salve Regina University so my schedule can be somewhat inconsistent but I have long breaks during my day and most nights free. About: I have owned dogs, cats, and even reptiles for most of my life so I understand how difficult it can be to find someone reliable and trustworthy to babysit or just walk my fur babies. Life is always busy, so I joined rover to help my fellow owners. I work part time, so my schedule is a little different each week but I will work with u as much as I can. About: I’ve pet sat with my moms business since I was about 10, and over 18 years have taken care of many animals. I love to play with the animals, my goal is that when I’m rehired the come to the door to greet me to play with them. I work part time and can do mornings and overnights before and after work. I also get breaks on shifts that I can stop in and visit. I cannot do my own home, but can take care of the animals at their home where they’re more comfortable. Besides just feeding them, walking them or taking them out, it’s important to play with them and keep them entertained. Which always entertains me.

About: I’ve pet sit many of times and always give the dogs everything and anything they need as well as bringing them someone to play with. I am a student at URI completing my last year of chemical engineering and I am able to help Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the morning before noon and late afternoon after 4:30. Kim was WONDERFUL with my dog, and he absolutely loved her! Unfortunately, an unexpected emergency prevented her from completing the final scheduled drop-in visit. As a first-time Rover user, I wasn't entirely familiar with the procedures for situations like this or how the length of a drop-in visit is determined. It would be helpful if Rover provided clearer information about visit duration during the booking process, as well as guidance on how pet owners can be notified if an emergency affects a scheduled visit. I completely understand that unexpected situations arise, and I have compassion for Kim's circumstances. At the same time, being out of state and needing to find alternative care for my dog at the last minute was stressful. Overall, my dog clearly enjoyed Kim's company, and I would happily consider booking her again. In the future, I would like to have a clear communication plan in place in case of an emergency. It might also be helpful for Rover to offer a way for a sitter's designated representative to notify pet owners when the sitter is unable to communicate directly.
