“Lidia was the best pet sitter! She is so thorough, attentive, and thoughtful. She made sure my senior cat was very well taken care of! I found out the day before I had to leave that my cat has hyperthyroidism so I was worried about leaving him, but Lidia’s updates were very in-depth and made me feel confident and comfortable in his care. She will definitely be our go-to pet sitter from now on!”

“Brenna reassured me that my cat was in good hands, so I didn’t have to worry while I was away. I enjoyed reading the detailed events on the Rover card as well as looking at all the pictures. I highly recommend Brenna to look after your animal.”

“I highly recommend! She took fantastic care of my kitty, and her humor and communication made the experience even more enjoyable. She kept me updated and put my mind at ease while I was away. Her helpfulness and attention to detail were impressive. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give her ten if I could! If you need a trustworthy and fun sitter, look no further!"”

About: I love dogs and have several years of experience caring for them whether overnight or on walks. I can administer medicines orally and have fundamental training skills to help your pet acclimate to me and my space. I work part-time with shifts never exceeding 7 hours. Working 4-5 days a week. I work near my place of residence and am able to respond quickly to any situation if needed. Dogs: I am able to board adult, small-medium dogs. Others I will gladly walk or sit for. I provide a structured environment to help them feel comfortable and safe while keeping toys and treats handy to engage their minds and bodies and to build a positive relationship. Cats: I will board any and all cats assuming they're healthy. I have a very cat-friendly home and provide consistent meals, cuddles, and play. Foremost, I let the cat decide what it wants, whether that's space and quiet, or pets and play.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration. I also graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology as an Assistant Animal Laboratory Technician. With that being, said I have a vast amount of experience on how to care for animals. I am currently working part time, so I have a flexible availability when it comes to caring for your pet(s). Monday-Thursday I am available after 3pm, and Friday-Sunday I have full availability. I usually would let the animal get used to my scent and me being in their space, and then I would care for the dog by feeding them, and taking them to go potty. Then, I would play with them to ensure that they do not get bored and not have separation anxiety.
“Bailey did an awesome job caring for my two kitties and even called mlgw when our power when out. She kept us well updated. We appreciate you going the extra mile!”

“Julie was so sweet and kind!! She really went above and beyond in taking care of my cat while I was out of town. Julie not only ensured my cat’s basic needs were met, she also provided play time so he wouldn’t feel lonely. I also really appreciated her regular updates with photos and videos that kept me reassured throughout my trip. I wholeheartedly recommend Julie to anyone seeking a caring pet sitter for their furbaby.”

“Magnolia was excellent! Communicative, professional and super sweet with my kitten Sophia. She was flexible with times and even checked to make sure I made it home due to bad weather. If my flight had been grounded, she was willing to brave the snow and to take care of Sophia. Highly recommend! I will book Magnolia again when the need arises!!!!”

“Emma was great with our cat and clearly gave her lots of love! She sent a nice photo or two every day and made sure to check all the boxes of little things we asked her to do as well! Highly recommend!”

“Davis took care of my cats for the second time, and did a wonderful job. I had no worries at all while I was out of town for an extended period of time. He kept me updated about anything I needed to know, relating to supplies running low, or anything else. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again!”

“Valerie has taken excellent care of my Bengal cats. Not only are their needs met, but she takes time to play with them and sends cute pics to show they love her being there”

“Shelby took great care of my cat Lola. We needed her to stop by and give her a specific kind of food, and to let her play for a little while. She followed our instructions for the whole stay, and we got back to a happy/healthy cat.”

About: I’ve had family dogs almost my entire life that i’ve helped care for! i got my own puppy about 5 years ago & ever since then my home has been a revolving door for foster pups, strays, & just any dog that’s needed a home along the way! I work part time, around 20 - 25 hours a week. I usually only work 3 days per week so i’m free the rest of the week & every weekend! I have experience with dogs of all sizes & breeds! I’ve crate trained all the dogs that have been in my care so I’m very familiar & comfortable with putting dogs in crates, taking them out, & just using a crate in general. I currently have 2 large dogs (irish wolfhound & pitbull) so i have plenty of practice taking care of & walking strong dogs & dogs that pull or lunge.

About: We are a married couple in our 40s interested in house/pet-sitting together. We have pet-sat for a few NC and TN families for the past several years, and both of us had pet-sat before we met as well. Zachary works from home and so will be around the house much of the day if dogs need a mid-day walk or meal. Denny wakes up early and can feed and walk dogs in the early morning. Between us, we have experience with cats, dogs, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, livestock, reptiles, and amphibians. We are willing to work with other animals as well. We prefer to sleep at the pet-owner's home when needed, as this means that we’re around and available for the pets at various times throughout the day. Denny also does drop-in care and dog-walking. Zachary has experience training dogs and volunteering with cats as well. Looking forward to meeting you! Zachary has a flexible work schedule and works from home. Denny is available to care for pets in the mornings, sometimes late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We both enjoy walking and hiking and would love to take your dogs for walks. We don’t bring pets into our home but prefer overnight care in the pets’ home and are also open to drop-in care and walks. We are both very gentle with dogs and cats and enjoy lots of cuddles with pets, and we also make sure to take them for walks if desired.
New South Memphis cat parents share their Rover experiences
Miranda was kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Our cat became quickly stressed and temperamental when we left, and even though Mayzie was acting out, Miranda went above and beyond in her care. I am so thankful and truly blown away by her patience and kindness in such a challenging situation. She was timely, communicative, and just an all-around professional.
