“Magnolia was exactly what I was looking for in a pet sitter! I knew right when I met her that my senior kitty was in good hands while I was gone for the weekend. I’ve never used a pet service before and I was nervous, naturally. With a sitter like Magnolia there was no reason to be worried! Smeagol was well taken care of and I will not hesitate to book with Magnolia again. Highly recommend!!!!”
“Brittnye has done a wonderful job for us. Very professional and helpful if something goes wrong … like a dog gets lost or stuck upstairs because they jump baby gates. She’s also very mindful of packages that get left which is an unexpected bonus! We’ve used her numerous times and will continue to.”

“I was really pleased with Jenna. I could tell my bunny got really comfortable especially in the last pic she sent me when Pepper was asking her for treats! She followed all of my instructions to a T. She arrived for her visits promptly and sent me a Rover card with pics every time which I appreciated. When I came home Pepper was doing great. Thanks Jenna!”

“I can’t recommend Anne enough! She took care of my two cats for an entire month with daily drop-ins, and she was incredibly responsible, reliable, and caring throughout the whole stay. Communication was great — I consistently received updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely book with Anne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“My second time hiring Brittany! Very good communication and timely. Brought my Amazon package in and everything was just how we left it with the pets and house! A very rusted sitter. Officially a regular client of hers!”

“Bailey did an outstanding job and was very professional over the past couple of weeks taking care of my cat! Anytime there was an issue or she had questions, she was communicative and reliable, so I never had to worry while I was gone. Your fur baby is definitely in safe hands with Bailey!”

“Jessica took great care of my cat and gave her oral medication on time. She really cared about understanding my pets personality so she could tailor her pet sitting approach to my cat’s specific needs. I would absolutely recommend!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I currently have nine cats, both indoor and outdoor, and have raised Old English Bulldogs and German Shepherds. I grew up around larger animals as well, including horses and cattle, so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and personalities. I’m also familiar with veterinary medicine and animal health, and I’m fortunate to have a certified veterinarian in my family who has given me additional insight into quality animal care. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I’m committed to providing them with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own animals. I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends, so pet care can easily fit into my routine. I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs, whether that means drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, walks, or other in-home care. I can most likely accommodate the schedule that works best for you and your pets! I’m happy to provide drop-in visits to give your pets some mid-day attention, companionship, and relief while you’re away. I’m comfortable walking your pets, feeding them according to your specific instructions, refreshing water, cleaning up after them, and administering medications when provided with clear instructions. Every pet and household is different, so if you have a particular routine or request, please feel free to ask. I will most likely be able to accommodate it! I do not provide overnight stays, and I do not board other pets in my home because I have cats of my own.

About: I grew up around greyhounds specifically, and have a love for all dogs and cats! A couch potato or a pet that loves to run and play, I can keep up with either. :-) I can work from home for short periods if absolutely necessary as well, so your baby doesn’t have to be alone. I’d love to hang out with your furry friends! I currently work full-time in a office, but have the ability to work from home if absolutely necessary for short periods (2-3 days at a time), I work a regular morning schedule and am off at 4:30 every day, and am off on the weekends. I also get an hour lunch, so I can stop by to check on pets during that time as well. I follow your routine; feeding, walking, giving meds. Giving them at least an hour of play a day, or more if that’s a part of your normal schedule. Keeping them engaged, or just relaxing with them on the couch; whichever they prefer to make sure your pet has the most comfort. Keeping their environment clean, tidy, and organized. No litter box left unclean! Plus making sure to keep all doors locked, and personal items out of pets’ reach.
“Andrea did an amazing job of taking care of our kitty Dale while we were away! She was very communicative and “on it.” It was a great comfort and relief to know that our beloved furry son was in the hands of someone so sweet and reliable. I will be a repeat client for sure!”

“Gage was great to work with, accommodating our last minute request on a holiday weekend. He was very responsive and kept us updated with pictures/notes about our pups. I highly recommend him, and we’ll definitely work with him again!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration. I also graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology as an Assistant Animal Laboratory Technician. With that being, said I have a vast amount of experience on how to care for animals. I am currently working part time, so I have a flexible availability when it comes to caring for your pet(s). Monday-Thursday I am available after 3pm, and Friday-Sunday I have full availability. I usually would let the animal get used to my scent and me being in their space, and then I would care for the dog by feeding them, and taking them to go potty. Then, I would play with them to ensure that they do not get bored and not have separation anxiety.
“Jenny is THE best ever! Will use her as long as she’ll have me. My dogs look so happy in the pics she sends. I know they’re in good hands. She is communicative and flexible as my travel may require an extra visit some days. I hesitate to write such a glowing review for fear she will get too busy. ❤️🐶🦮🐕🦺🐕”

“My cats were well taken care of Oliver is professional and wonderful he communicated effectively and he even made sure to give my babies the full attention they wanted highly recommend”

About: I’ve had animals all my life and have been caring for dogs and horses for the past 6 years. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently working toward a career in veterinary medicine, so caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy it’s my passion. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently on summer break from college and working a part-time job, so pet sitting is a great way for me to spend more time doing something I truly enjoy caring for animals. My work schedule is Thursday through Saturday, and I’m available after I get off work on those days. I’m also available on my days off and will do my best to accommodate your pet care needs. I believe in keeping pet parents updated and making sure every pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore, as well as three friendly small dogs who are well-socialized and can provide companionship if your pet enjoys being around other dogs. For drop-in visits, I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I’ll always respect your home, carefully follow your pet’s routine, and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family and provide the attention, patience, and care they deserve.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 339 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Nonconnah. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nonconnah. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
