“I was really pleased with Jenna. I could tell my bunny got really comfortable especially in the last pic she sent me when Pepper was asking her for treats! She followed all of my instructions to a T. She arrived for her visits promptly and sent me a Rover card with pics every time which I appreciated. When I came home Pepper was doing great. Thanks Jenna!”

“I highly recommend! She took fantastic care of my kitty, and her humor and communication made the experience even more enjoyable. She kept me updated and put my mind at ease while I was away. Her helpfulness and attention to detail were impressive. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give her ten if I could! If you need a trustworthy and fun sitter, look no further!"”

“Britnye did everything I asked her to and then some. My cats were well taken care of. Her daily feedback gave me peace of mind when one cat was not seen ;for a few days and then showed up. I am grateful for her dedication to her job.”

“Bailey is amazing with our cat, Oliver. They follow our directions perfectly and even works with us last minute! I trust them with my Oliver when we are gone on our trips!”

“I can’t recommend Anne enough! She took care of my two cats for an entire month with daily drop-ins, and she was incredibly responsible, reliable, and caring throughout the whole stay. Communication was great — I consistently received updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely book with Anne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

About: 10+ years of experience caring for pets as a lifelong dog and cat owner and several years of casual experience pet sitting. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every pet. I grew up with dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m patient, observant, and take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level. I’m patient with shy or senior pets, and always focused on making animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with owners, so you can feel confident your pet is in loving hands. I'm currently in school to become a physical therapist so I have time early in the mornings and after 3pm during the week. Most Fridays, I am off by noon. On the weekends I am completely open to help with taking care of your pets! I prioritize meeting the needs of the pets while making sure they are comfortable and cared for. For dogs, this includes regular walks, feeding on schedule, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. For cats, I focus on consistent feeding, litter box care, play if desired, and creating a calm, low-stress environment that respects their personality and comfort level. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, energy level, and temperament, and I follow all owner instructions closely, including any medications or special care. I keep safety a top priority, provide updates and photos, and make sure both pets and owners feel at ease while they’re away.
“Magnolia was excellent! Communicative, professional and super sweet with my kitten Sophia. She was flexible with times and even checked to make sure I made it home due to bad weather. If my flight had been grounded, she was willing to brave the snow and to take care of Sophia. Highly recommend! I will book Magnolia again when the need arises!!!!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration. I also graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology as an Assistant Animal Laboratory Technician. With that being, said I have a vast amount of experience on how to care for animals. I am currently working part time, so I have a flexible availability when it comes to caring for your pet(s). Monday-Thursday I am available after 3pm, and Friday-Sunday I have full availability. I usually would let the animal get used to my scent and me being in their space, and then I would care for the dog by feeding them, and taking them to go potty. Then, I would play with them to ensure that they do not get bored and not have separation anxiety.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality! Before pursuing Occupational Therapy, I completed coursework on a pre-veterinary track, giving me additional knowledge of animal care. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies to senior companions. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, going for a run, or just relaxing with company, I’m happy to tailor my care to their routine. I’ll always treat your pet like family and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. I recently graduated with my Master’s in Occupational Therapy and am currently studying for my board exam, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and will always do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I treat every home with respect and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring, dependable hands.

About: I’ve had animals all my life and have been caring for dogs and horses for the past 6 years. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently working toward a career in veterinary medicine, so caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy it’s my passion. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently on summer break from college and working a part-time job, so pet sitting is a great way for me to spend more time doing something I truly enjoy caring for animals. My work schedule is Thursday through Saturday, and I’m available after I get off work on those days. I’m also available on my days off and will do my best to accommodate your pet care needs. I believe in keeping pet parents updated and making sure every pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore, as well as three friendly small dogs who are well-socialized and can provide companionship if your pet enjoys being around other dogs. For drop-in visits, I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I’ll always respect your home, carefully follow your pet’s routine, and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family and provide the attention, patience, and care they deserve.
About: **Insured/Pet CPR and first aid certified** I am currently/have been a volunteer dog foster with multiple rescue organizations over the last 15 years as well as a dog owner during this time. I am very familiar with bringing new dogs into my home and getting them comfy. I also have years of experience with special needs dogs and am very attentive to their needs (they will be spoiled for sure, as much as you will allow), including snuggling in bed with us at night if that's what they are used to. My crew can be calm or playful depending on your dogs needs. My home is quiet and no traffic (people or cars) so nervous pups will do fine here. I am experienced and comfortable giving oral medication, as well as injections, insulin, seizure meds, etc. They are always given on time and photo/text updates are sent to your phone as often as you'd like. I do require a meet and greet at my home prior to the sit to make sure everyone is comfortable. I also require your dog to be crate trained and can provide one if needed. This is only for their safety and my dogs safety if I have to leave the house for a few minutes. I tend to be home all day on weekends and work from home every day. Please feel free to message me with any questions you might have! All pups go out first thing in the morning and right before bed. They go out around every 2 hours for play time or sunbathing in the yard (never unsupervised) during the day. I am available for long-term stays or occasional daycare so your pup can get some energy out or just for enrichment. Drop-in visits are done at agreed-upon times and I always make sure everyone is happy, fed, watered and safe. I am flexible and can accommodate your dogs' needs in my home. Breakfast is usually given around 8:30am and dinner around 6pm. The dogs are not kenneled unless I need to leave the house for something. I do not care for cats in my home as I find the movement is too stressful for them.
“Davis did a great job taking care of my cats while I was out of town! He did exactly what we needed, and was an excellent, quick communicator. I look forward to working with him again!”

About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. Most of the dogs I encountered with at the shelter were sweet and loving dogs that just need a friend and time to spend with a person. I treated those dogs as my own. I have also intern at University of Tennessee Health and Science Center taking care of rodents, pigs, and other animals. I am someone who is mature, candid and who has integrity. Everyday I work to improve myself and my skills which is part of maturing and becoming better at what I do, this is why I want clients to choose me. I will treat your pets as my own pets. I will love and care for them, as if they where my own.
“Kristen was great and such a life saver! Was able to schedule her for a last minute drop in. She has great communication skills and I appreciate her willingness to still go to apartment after trying to find it for 30 minutes. Would definitely use again”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nonconnah. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
