âBrenna is always a pleasure to have watching my Lil guys. She's super thorough, pays attention to detail and communication is always on point. Always will schedule with her so long as I'm in the area!â

âLidia did such a thorough job feeding our new cat, providing detailed updates after each feeding and generally just being really conscientious in all that she did. Cannot recommend her enough and will definitely use here again!â

âBrittnye has done a wonderful job for us. Very professional and helpful if something goes wrong ⌠like a dog gets lost or stuck upstairs because they jump baby gates. Sheâs also very mindful of packages that get left which is an unexpected bonus! Weâve used her numerous times and will continue to.â

âWe couldnât be happier with our experience! Bailey went above and beyond to make sure our dogs felt comfortable and loved while we were away. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! Thanks again Bailey!!â

âI canât recommend Anne enough! She took care of my two cats for an entire month with daily drop-ins, and she was incredibly responsible, reliable, and caring throughout the whole stay. Communication was great â I consistently received updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely book with Anne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!â

âBrittany was exceptional! You can tell she loves animals. I will definitely reach out to her again when I travel. Thank you from Lisa, Jezzy and Merri Margaretâ

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. I graduated with a Bachelorâs in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration. I also graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology as an Assistant Animal Laboratory Technician. With that being, said I have a vast amount of experience on how to care for animals. I am currently working part time, so I have a flexible availability when it comes to caring for your pet(s). Monday-Thursday I am available after 3pm, and Friday-Sunday I have full availability. I usually would let the animal get used to my scent and me being in their space, and then I would care for the dog by feeding them, and taking them to go potty. Then, I would play with them to ensure that they do not get bored and not have separation anxiety.
âEmma was great with our cat and clearly gave her lots of love! She sent a nice photo or two every day and made sure to check all the boxes of little things we asked her to do as well! Highly recommend!â

About: Iâve had animals all my life and have been caring for dogs and horses for the past 6 years. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while theyâre away. Iâm dependable, patient, and treat every pet like theyâre part of my own family. Iâm currently working toward a career in veterinary medicine, so caring for animals isnât just something I enjoy itâs my passion. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while youâre away. Iâm currently on summer break from college and working a part-time job, so pet sitting is a great way for me to spend more time doing something I truly enjoy caring for animals. My work schedule is Thursday through Saturday, and Iâm available after I get off work on those days. Iâm also available on my days off and will do my best to accommodate your pet care needs. I believe in keeping pet parents updated and making sure every pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your petâs safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore, as well as three friendly small dogs who are well-socialized and can provide companionship if your pet enjoys being around other dogs. For drop-in visits, I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. Iâll always respect your home, carefully follow your petâs routine, and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while youâre away. Whether Iâm caring for your pet in my home or yours, Iâll treat them like theyâre part of my own family and provide the attention, patience, and care they deserve.
âWe love Julie, she is wonderful. I love the pictures and videos she sends and I love how relaxed my bunnies are when I come home. She is amazing! Book Julie, your fur babies will thank you!â

About: **Insured/Pet CPR and first aid certified** I am currently/have been a volunteer dog foster with multiple rescue organizations over the last 15 years as well as a dog owner during this time. I am very familiar with bringing new dogs into my home and getting them comfy. I also have years of experience with special needs dogs and am very attentive to their needs (they will be spoiled for sure, as much as you will allow), including snuggling in bed with us at night if that's what they are used to. My crew can be calm or playful depending on your dogs needs. My home is quiet and no traffic (people or cars) so nervous pups will do fine here. I am experienced and comfortable giving oral medication, as well as injections, insulin, seizure meds, etc. They are always given on time and photo/text updates are sent to your phone as often as you'd like. I do require a meet and greet at my home prior to the sit to make sure everyone is comfortable. I also require your dog to be crate trained and can provide one if needed. This is only for their safety and my dogs safety if I have to leave the house for a few minutes. I tend to be home all day on weekends and work from home every day. Please feel free to message me with any questions you might have! All pups go out first thing in the morning and right before bed. They go out around every 2 hours for play time or sunbathing in the yard (never unsupervised) during the day. I am available for long-term stays or occasional daycare so your pup can get some energy out or just for enrichment. Drop-in visits are done at agreed-upon times and I always make sure everyone is happy, fed, watered and safe. I am flexible and can accommodate your dogs' needs in my home. Breakfast is usually given around 8:30am and dinner around 6pm. The dogs are not kenneled unless I need to leave the house for something. I do not care for cats in my home as I find the movement is too stressful for them.

âShelby took great care of my cat Lola. We needed her to stop by and give her a specific kind of food, and to let her play for a little while. She followed our instructions for the whole stay, and we got back to a happy/healthy cat.â

About: Iâve had a deep love and passion for animals since I was a child. Iâm known to take in strays and help them either find their home or get them to a shelter so they can be taken care of . Iâm very patient with every kind of animal , puppies and juveniles are my favorite seeing as though they have the most energy . Iâm currently working part-time so I have all the time to sit in house with pups or cats. Iâm available to board on weekends and can even provide pickup and drop off services. I have a fenced in yard and if need be Iâm open to watching them from your home. All animals are free roam unless you want them crated .
âDavis did a great job taking care of my cats while I was out of town! He did exactly what we needed, and was an excellent, quick communicator. I look forward to working with him again!â

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 341 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Nonconnah. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your catsâ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, donât forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nonconnah. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
