“We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Bailey went above and beyond to make sure our dogs felt comfortable and loved while we were away. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! Thanks again Bailey!!”

“Leigh was awesome to work with. She provided great care for my babes and gave me updates along the way. She watered my plants and took my trash bins to street. She went over and above. Will def put her on my list to use again.”

About: I grew up around dogs and cats, and they always bring me joy. I treat animals like they are my own. While you are away, I want you to feel confident and secure about your pet’s happiness and well-being. I am reliable, and over six years, I have never missed a visit to a client’s home. I also have experience administering medications, especially my family dog Casey’s numerous pills. I would be happy to help out with your pet(s) in the mornings and/or evenings, as I work a full-time job at a local school. I would be glad to keep your fur baby company on visits to your home. I will gladly check your mail, water your plants, or do anything else you need while you’re away.

“Tara was great! I absolutely recommend her and I’ll book her again. It was the first time for us being away from our 2 cats for over a week. But with her we felt that our cats are very well cared for. She took the time to check in before we left, sent us detailed updates and photos every day. Her reaction time to messages is very fast.”

“Kay has worked really well with us! She completed all care items well and was able to adjust to our scheduling needs. Highly recommended for cat owners.”

“Desiree is a wonderful caretaker for my pet family! I feel they are safe, my home is safe and she is a great communicator! I'm embarrassed to say that I think my dogs were actually disappointed we weren't Desiree when we returned☺️!”

“Stella made it possible to rest easy while out of town because she took such great care of my cat. I could tell from the pictures and updates how happy he was! She’s awesome and her love of animals is so sincere.”

“I was really pleased with Jenna. I could tell my bunny got really comfortable especially in the last pic she sent me when Pepper was asking her for treats! She followed all of my instructions to a T. She arrived for her visits promptly and sent me a Rover card with pics every time which I appreciated. When I came home Pepper was doing great. Thanks Jenna!”

“Ann was wonderful with my dog, Trevor! She was friendly and connected well with him! She also handled him being a big dog, very well. :). I definitely recommend her!”

“This was for an extra day added to our trip because of a family emergency and we're just so grateful for Melissa's kindness, understanding, and willingness to take care of our girls again!”

“Awesome! Will hire again. Dealt with all three of my big hyper dogs very well, cleaned up any messes was punctual and communication was on point. Planning to be a regular customer of hers for sure!”

“Our regular sitter was out of town. I was super nervous having to find a new one. But, the very first thing Montserrat asked was when could she meet our pups. That immediately put my mind at ease. From the moment she walked into our house, I was no longer nervous. Her outgoing and kind personality was made her easy to talk to. She always kept us updated with pics and videos. She was accommodating when asked if she could feed at a visit that wasn’t previously scheduled. She is very detailed oriented and our Tucker & Miller loved her. We would definitely use her again!”

“Brooke was amazing and took such great care of my two cats while I was away. She was a great communicator and always told me when she was heading to my place. She also always left a thorough review of each visit with pictures included. I was confident that the cats got the best care possible!!”

“As usual, Amy was a conscientious delightful and reliable Catsitter for us. We arrived home today and found our cat fat dumb and happy. Thank you, Amy, for another great job.”

About: I have previous experience in dog, cat, and house sitting. I’ve had several pets throughout my life and all have lived long healthy lives in my care. I currently volunteer with House of Mews on a weekly basis. I have knowledge and experience in caregiving, bathing, and administering medicine. I follow directions well and will give your furry friend the best care possible. Currently working my own hours, so I am flexible and free to visit whenever you need me. If you have any special requests, just let me know and we can work out pricing. My home is unfortunately unavailable for boarding. But I’m comfortable taking care of pets in all types of environments and don’t mind traveling with them in my car if you’d like me to enrich their day at a dog park or on a nature trail.

Grace took excellent care of both my cat, Phoebe, and my home while I was away. She even came by before my trip to make sure she had all the information she needed, which gave me great peace of mind. Throughout my time away, she was fantastic with communication, keeping me updated with texts and pictures of my cat. I truly appreciated her reliability, professionalism, and the care she showed. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Berclair. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
