“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). Derek was my first experience with Rover and I don't plan to seek out any other sitter unless Derek is unavailable, and he will my first recommendation to anyone else to need a sitter in Memphis. About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. I bathed walked and took care of them mostly from the comfort of their own homes as their owners were away on trips. I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.

About: Hi, I'm Brittany! I'm a dependable animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have a 10-year-old cat and grew up in a household with pets, giving me a lifelong appreciation for animal care. In addition to caring for my own pets, I worked at a doggy daycare where I was responsible for supervising and caring for groups of 8–12 dogs at a time. This experience taught me how to safely manage dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I'm committed to providing reliable, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages. Pet care works into my day easily. Since I have a very flexible schedule it allows me to easily block out time in the mornings, middays, and evenings to dog walking and drop-in visits. I build my day around the feeding, exercise, and medication times requested by my clients. This flexibility ensures that I can always be reliable, prompt, and fully focused on providing attentive care without rushing. Make sure the fences are closed and locked before letting any dogs outside to play. Making sure all trash cans are closed and anything the dog could get into that they shouldn't be able to is secure and put away.
About: I am a pet person! I’ve had dogs since I was a child and have cared for my own dogs and cats throughout my adult life. Animals have always been part of my family, and I truly love caring for fur babies of all ages and personalities. About: I have always had pets, and I currently have two senior dogs(13 years) and one senior cat(15 years). I know how important it is to have reliable, caring, patient, and loving care for them. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies. I work M-F, 7:00am until 3:00pm. But, I am available anytime afterwards or anytime on Saturdays and Sundays for pet drop-ins or neighborhood dog walking. I have experience with reoccurring, weekly dog walking as well as in-home pet sitting. At this time, my schedule only allows for dog walking and drop-ins.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of 4 dogs at my house before I moved to college. I also have a lot of experience with sitting in Memphis! I have a few connections for sitting, but am looking for more! I have breaks in between classes and am usually done with class after 3:30. Weekends are pretty much free unless I’m out of town! I’m available to stop in periodically and/or walk! Depending on what the client requests, I usually feed them twice a day, take them on walks, and play with them. If the parents are out of town I’ll usually sit with them for a while and do homework!

About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. I bathed walked and took care of them mostly from the comfort of their own homes as their owners were away on trips. I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.
About: I have been around dogs all my life. All of the dogs and cats that my family and I had/have were found as strays and made part of the family. I would always help my parents take care of my neighbor’s dogs when they are away on vacation. This past fall, I dog sat and dog walked for a family before, during, and after they went on a cruise. I am good with young and old dogs, all sizes!! I grew up loving animals and have been fortunate enough to have cared for many different animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, guinea pig, squirrels, and a few birds. In the fall of 2025, I fostered a bunny for 2 weeks and took it to adoption events. If I have the funds, I would have definitely kept it. 😂 I currently have 2 green anoles that I care for and love. I have the summer completely open. Classes start up late August, so all dates up until then are open until booked. Once college classes start up again, my schedule will mostly stay the same, open. During the semester, I will have a tutoring job, but it shouldn’t have any effect on scheduling or anything like that. If there is a conflict, tutoring sessions can be moved. I always meet clients before I start any service to make sure that I am compatible with the cat or dog. After that, I make sure to follow what the client needs and wants for their pets. I give lots of attention when I’m not at work and make sure that they get all that they need.

He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!).
