“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). I can administer medicines orally and have fundamental training skills to help your pet acclimate to me and my space. I work part-time with shifts never exceeding 7 hours. Working 4-5 days a week. While I was away, my cat’s tail wounds reopened and she had to be taken to the emergency animal center to get them stitched back up. About: I’ve had family dogs almost my entire life that i’ve helped care for! i got my own puppy about 5 years ago & ever since then my home has been a revolving door for foster pups, strays, & just any dog that’s needed a home along the way! I work part time, around 20 - 25 hours a week. I usually only work 3 days per week so i’m free the rest of the week & every weekend! I have experience with dogs of all sizes & breeds! I’ve crate trained all the dogs that have been in my care so I’m very familiar & comfortable with putting dogs in crates, taking them out, & just using a crate in general. About: I have taken care of fur babies since I was a kid. We've had a Tinkerbell (toy poodle), a Bilal (Chow), Red (doberman). As an adult my baby had 2 sets of litters and we had both litters in the house as our babies until we started giving sime of the pups away (hardest thing to do, yes we cried). About: I have owned pets since i was 6. I have owned dogs, birds, cats, fishes, spiders and more!! I am pretty active and can keep up with a dogs fast paced life. I am also chill more those more laid back puppies. I love having the company of a fury (and not so fury) friend around as much as they enjoy ours. I have experienced with alot if breeds of dogs and would love to expand my knowledge with more breeds. When sitting and walking dogs i focus all my attention on the task at hand making sure the dog gets everything he or she may need and all the attention ut can possible want. About: We are a married couple in our 40s interested in house/pet-sitting together. We have pet-sat for a few NC and TN families for the past several years, and both of us had pet-sat before we met as well. Zachary works from home and so will be around the house much of the day if dogs need a mid-day walk or meal. Denny wakes up early and can feed and walk dogs in the early morning. Between us, we have experience with cats, dogs, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, livestock, reptiles, and amphibians. We are willing to work with other animals as well. About: I'm an early bird so morning walks are always in; Sir Connor (Rest In Dog Paradise ) he was a shih tzu mixed. He was not neutered, because I wanted grand fur babies at the time. I have fostered over a dozen dogs and a handful of cats. Daisy May was an extra addition to the family while I was fostering a puppy I called Maxwell; Maxwell has been adopted by a caring couple! Daisy May is currently the only dog I have so far. Sitting Schedule: Breakfast is at 10:30. I'm reading on how to train dogs and so treats would be ideal for play time! Dinner is severed at 7:30 I feed twice a day. If I have your dog on the weekend, they get to go on a field trip to Overton Park or Mud Island Dog Park. They also get enrichment time with pet toys and snacks! I also groom on the weekend. I mostly had dogs as pets; I rescued a cat and named him Jeffery and he was adopted by a loving family.
